_____Shoulder blades rolling with each daintily placed step as she stalked low and stealthily between bushels and trees, Ketsiah narrowed her eyes as she came upon her target. It was still early in the day for her, she had managed to track down two of the three outcasts (NPC's) that were at risk of turning over to the government's control, keeping her tabs current of course, and after this, two of those three would be dead and out of commission. The hardest part for her, was knowing that these people were just like her, but it would only be until the moment the switch was flipped in their brain. It almost made them harder for her to kill.
_____The brute she had been following was taking the trash out from his shady apartment building- probably all he could afford working a part-time job, which she assumed didn't pay well. He was thin, but much taller than her, she wasn't aware of his wolf however. Sometimes a person's human size was a bit undermining compared to their wolf, unfortunately for Ketsiah, everyone was usually larger than her. It didn't make her any less lethal though. Ketsiah bounded around the corner, her flank grazing the concrete retaining wall of the corner she had cut tightly, before ducking into the alleyway and under the dumpster the brute was headed for.
_____Luckily for her, this outsider, in particular, was a bit on the short side when it came to intelligence. He wouldn't know a
fox from a cat or small dog if it bit him in the jugular, which was exactly her plan. Ketsiah's tail flicked violently left and right as she watched his feet walk their way closer, she felt the vibration of impact above her as his trash landed in the dumpster, shooting out, and trying her hardest to make a loud thump into the waste receptacle just adjacent to the one she was under without hurting herself. The girl resisted a smile as she saw the brute turn around to see her small form crippled up on the broken pavement of the alleyway.
_____Ketsiah pinned her ears to her head and looked up at his human form with upturned brows and eyes the size of saucers. Timid. Afraid. Hurt. It was the perfect game and she was always the winner. As he took a few steps towards her, obviously trying to figure out what
she was, Ketsiah scooted back, playing the scared animal, definitely not capable of human though. Eventually, he picked her up and looked at her, his thumbs under her armpits and the rest of his fingers latched around her ribcage. Sure, if he had known what she was, or who she was... she would have been considered stupid for putting herself in such a vulnerable position, he could end her with the squeeze of his hands likely. Ketsiah knew her stuff though, this guy didn't know a thing.
_____"Are you okay little... kitty?" he asked in an almost concerned voice. The girl felt bad, he seemed to actually care, but he was just a threat now to her pack, he couldn't be trusted. Without much warning at all, her soft, sandy-colored coat turned arctic white and her size alone shifted into a massive wolf nearly 20 times the size of her fox, pinning the man to the ground under her weight. He was really at a disadvantage, she worked fast, always used the element of surprise and he was too stupid to get out while he could. Not wanting to draw it out any longer than she had, Ketsiah's icy blue eyes looked ahead to make sure there would be no witnesses before her pearly white teeth clamped down on the tender flesh of his neck, collapsing his jugular and ending his life rather quickly.
_____Ketsiah's maw now stained with the dark crimson of her victim, the wolf sneezed, shaking her head, trying her hardest to get the taste from her mouth. The blood of her own kind was not one she enjoyed much at all. The white wolf walked over the body, bending down to take his shirt in her jaws so she could drag him off out of site, when she heard footsteps at the alley's entrance
(OPEN). Ears flicking forward, the wolf turned to see the face that had caught her in the act, what she would do next would define the way the rest of her day went.
_____The young assassin couldn't just leave the body- she was always taught to clean up her mess... but the witness couldn't be let go either, it could lead to poor implications for her pack, or even give her away depending who had seen her. Dragging the body behind the dumpster, the wolf darted around the corner, after the spectator

_____Two sets of 50, three sets, and then four. Vaereck worked through his morning routine in his small cell beside his bed. He couldn't lose sight of the goal he had of escaping- he knew it was probably impossible- but he couldn't just give up, could he? The brute was and always would be a survivalist. It wasn't about hope for him it was just about surviving the storm and making it out alive. Having fought for his sister's well being most of his life, and then fighting to keep his rage under control, there was never any downtime. Even more so now, that the government had gotten their hooks into him so deep, that even he couldn't fight his way out. Vaereck was still unsure of how the serum and chip had worked yet as he was yet to be field tested- to his knowledge.
_____He had only been taken a few weeks ago- Vaereck had entered his usual fight club line up at one of the bar's underground rings. Since his sister's murder, it was the only thing that kept him going- forget the pack, so he thought- he figured he was better off, even stronger without them. It was his lack of closeness with them however that got him into trouble. That night, he had taken out every opponent he was faced against, it wasn't hard to do, it was almost unfair. For as tall as he was, his weight and muscle mass, the others never really stood a chance. But he gave the government exactly what they wanted, a champion. At the end of the final round, Vaereck had stood victorious, catching his breath and blinking through the blood seeping out of a cut above his eye, but before he knew it, he was fading out.
_____It was like a light switch on dimmer mode. His vision pulsed in and out of focus, turning red, to clear, back to red, until everything went black. The brute woke up days later in a room he didn't recognise, with a job he now had no choice but to take. The pack he once protected and distanced himself from was now one he would surely be assigned to hunt. The brute rose from his abdominal work out and peeled his sweaty tank top off- tossing them in a small hamper near his cell door before he walked down the hallway to get new ones from the workers. That was one good bonus, no chores or laundry.

_____Being raised by two loners that had come together out of love, Emily had no idea of what a pack was, how they operated, or that the Alpha's had multiple forms. The young girl didn't even have the simple knowledge of alternate shifts as she had only just discovered her own wolf. Her parents had of course planned on teaching her the differences, but she was not yet old enough for it to be necessary or relevant. Emily's parents themselves hadn't even really used their alternate shifts, there was no need. For the most part, the family had been living like humans to stay out of the eye of the government, it was just safer that way, so they thought.
_____Having been crying for some time, Emily did hear the flittering of the bird'sings as it entered her home, but never did she think it was possible that the bird was a shapeshifter like her. When she heard the male voice down the hallway, her heart dropped.
They're back, was all she could think. Leaning over, her hands pressed to the broken tile floor, glass cutting into her palms as she rotated enough to get to her feet. His footsteps neared, she quickly opened the cupboard she had just come from but to her dismay, she realized it would be all too obvious where she went due to the clear space she had been sitting and the pushed out, dismantled chair she cleared earlier.
_____Emily looked left and right, she considered the option of running, but she was only just a bit taller than three feet, she wouldn't make it far. The girl backed into the corner of the kitchen counters, her heart pounding so hard she could feel her body rock even when she felt she was standing still. That's when he came into her line of sight. She didn't know what the intruders from before looked like-
what if he was one of them? Emily shook her head, unable to speak as more tears streaked her red cheeks. Shrinking back down to the floor, the girl crossed her arms protectively over her face, the blood from her hands dripping down her arms as she clenched her fists.
_____"Please don't kill me,"
