England, France, Spain and the Netherlands are always in danger to the Swashbucklers, Buccaneers, Stowaways, Privateers, and sometimes even mermaids of the sea. All for the treasure that they nobles keep from them. What about royalty you ask? Well, that's for another time and place for that.

In the tales that the mothers or the parently siblings would tell the little ones as they go to that hazy dreamworld of sweets, it seems like the common misconception of pirates that they are bad and they would really never get a second chance at life. What if some pirates weren't that bad? Sure, there needs to be a bad guy in every story, but who's the real bad guy in the story?

Not every captain runs their crew the same way as the others. Not every captain enjoys the presence of commonfolk and nobles. Mermaids? Hah! They don't exist... Or do they? Who knows?

But here's the one real question:
Whose side are you on?

In control of their ships, crews, and possibly other people.

Ғιrsт Ѧαтɛ
A cappin's best friend... not technically anyway. But they are the second-in-command deck officer of the ship.

βʋccαnɛɛrs:
This class relies on brute strength; usually carrying heavy weapons.


Sωαsнвʋcκℓɛrs:
This class relies on speed and agility; usually wielding cutlasses and/or other kinds of blades.


Ѧʋsκɛтɛɛr
This class is skilled with guns and/or cannons; using these weapons to their advantage in long-range combat.

Ƥrιvαтɛɛr
This class is usually associated with sophisticated pirates who don't rely on violence to get what they want; usually either ex-marines who join pirate crews or pirate captains themselves who avoid attacking ships from their home country.

Landlubbers
I mean you might be familiar with the sea if you live next to it

Cσммσмғσℓκ
An everyday money struggling villager who are from one of the four countries. (Which were, again, England, The Netherlands, France, and Spain.)

Ѧαrιnɛ
A sea-faring army soldier loyal to their country; defending their people from rouge pirates.


Nσвɛℓs
Did I say no royalty? Well, nobles are considered to be royalty as they are richer than the commonfolk. Oh, you needn't worry, they aren't associated with pirates...Well. Okay. There are the rebelling nobles you'll have to worry about.

Sтσωαωαʏ
A commonfolk (or rebelling noble) running away from home for adventure or other personal reasons.

Ѳʋтcαsт
Land pirate. Beware of these rouges.

Seadwellars
They leave in secrecy on the ocean floor. But please don't mistake them as an overboard salior.

Ѧɛrмαι∂/Ѧɛrмɛn
Half-fish and half-human, these creatures are attractive with beautiful singing voices; yet cautious of humans... Usually lure any human who trespasses in their area into the ocean...Heed thy warning, please.

- Diversity is important. Please keep gender and roles even.

- No god-modding/powerplaying/marysues.

- Please Disable Your Signature.

- You can have as many characters, but make sure you can handle all of them.

- Please ask others if you can kill their characters. Especially if you own a pirate character.

- Drama is encouraged, but not in ooc.

- Minimum of four sentences or more. It's fine if you have writer's block, but try not to have just a two-worded sentence or a word or just one piece of dialogue.

- No codeword, but if one of these rules are broken, there would be one.



Attention Pirates and Crews:

I have no limit on there being pirate crews. But if they are getting a little cluttered (with too many pirate captains) then I'm setting the limitations. There is no ideal limitation. But please PM someone if you are wanting to form a pirate crew with them or if you have a pirate captain who needs a crew.
