- ☞EZRA fluttered thick eyelashes in Kal's direction as he watched the slender boy lower himself onto the worn chunk of wood, watching blonde hair bounce against his forehead as he rejected the offer of food with one of his infamously charming smiles. "More for me then." he shrugged, grinning widely at the joke Athena's son had made. "Well I'd say you don't have to worry too much. You're simply ravishing. And even if you gained some weight, all you have to do is charmspeak and anyone would fall head over heels for you." he shot back, enjoying the light banter. While they weren't particularly close, there were only so many demi-gods on the island and Loki's son thought it pertinent to be on the good side of most of them. Besides, Kal had never done him any harm and he seemed like a decent enough young man. For a moment he watched the other boy's profile before following his hazy gaze out into the ocean. "I'm sure she'll come around looking for you at some point. You two are quite inseparable. I'm surprised you aren't dating yet." he teased, knowing that probably wouldn't come to fruition. At the notion of Catriona and Wren together, Ezra couldn't quite repress a shiver of discomfort, his rugged good looks becoming distorted as his face scrunched up. "I'd prefer if those two didn't get too friendly with one another. I might be in hot water at that point."

- ☞WREN bit into a fork full of eggs, letting out a satisfied moan of delight as the hearty protein warmed her stomach and quieted the rumbling monster within. Mouth watering, she took two more vigorous mouthfuls before setting her fork aside to indulge in some fruit. She took this moment of reprieve to turn her undivided attention towards Catriona, not wanting to come off as incredibly rude, or like a pig. Ares's daughter offered her a knowing smile, uncharacteristically kind for her typically boorish nature. Perhaps it was because she could related to much of her cabin mate's struggles. "I understand." she comforted quickly, knowing all too well that temptation to give into the insatiable beast. It was extremely difficult to repress such urges that came so naturally to one's self, especially when every fiber of your being was screaming at you to fulfill the role you were destined to achieve. Wren should be a commander, stirring awe into the hearts of man and leading great armies to victory; she should also be the one inviting those very wars by her father's standards. Just like Ares, she thrived on chaos. Dark eyes narrowed slightly as she watched Catriona's mannerisms, noticing the tell that indicated a shift in mood and purpose. The brunette remained silent, biting her tongue as she allowed Morrigan's daughter to speak. "I suppose it's a constant learning process. Trying to find new ways to cope with the urges when new scenarios present themselves." she agreed, a part of her applauding Catriona's ability to restrain herself while the other part sneered in disdain at how much the girl wanted to hide her true nature.

☞NAKIA sat peacefully along the shore of the North Beach, her warm brown eyes closed as her soft fingers slithered through damp sand. Bare feet met the water as she was lulled into a meditative trance by the rhythmic crashing of gentle waves and the ebbing and flowing of the liquid. For the daughter of Olókun, the water was alive and each body had its own personality. A blissful smile sat lazily on her soft features, her white teeth flashing as the corners of her eyes crinkled ever so slightly. The girl hadn't seen her father in many months now, but being near the water always reminded her of where she had come from and that the god of vastness was always there. Nakia had already been at the waterfront for going on an hour now, and she decided that it was just about time to start her day. Now calm and relaxed, she allowed her dark eyes to flutter open, taking a few minutes to adjust to the glare of the sun against her beloved ocean before quick hands darted out to retrieve sandals. Her slender form retreated from the brink, a piece of her remaining as it always did; the ocean was her home. Proper footwear now gracing her calloused feet, she began her trek back towards 'civilization'.
