Elodie smiled tensely at Vixella, not for a moment missing the look she had sent her way. But she smoothed her expression out into one of ignorant innocence and surprise at Vixella's threats of punching. "Oh goodness! Violence should never be the answer to any of your problems" She yelped, placing her fingers in front of her open mouth and throwing on an expression of innocent surprise. "How can anyone so angry and violent make a good queen, or, well, ruler" Elodie stated, hiding the insult in her sweet tone. She smoothed out her dress, and offered an evaluating look to Vixella, smiling sweetly all the while.

Vixella slightly narrowed her eyes. "Oh? It shouldn't? What about how your family and fiends tried to murder Cassidy's mother because she tried to poison your mother? Wasn't that solved with violence?" She crossed her arms, her anger level was rising a bit from Elodie, her levels were growing unsafe almost if this kept up she'd eventually either punch Elodie or a locker; either one resulting in her getting in trouble and she wondered which would be more worth her while. "Anger and violence keeps people in order, not soft squeaky voices, those just irritate people and cause annoyance." She rebutted back at the princess. "Besides sitting on a throne all day is over rated. I don't want to sleep for a hundred years anyways." She inhaled sharply trying to calm herself down, she glanced over at her best friend Elliot for support or to calm the situation down.

Gage gave a laugh when he tried to deny that he had looked for any jewelry that was easy pickings. "Oh little hood, how stupid do you think I am? I know your looks when you're looking for jewelry or anything worth stealing really. Come on." She shook her head. "The less fortunate? You mean the lazy slums who don't try and improve their lives on their own? The ones who end up in jail for your father's doings?" She questioned raising her pierced eyebrow. She scuffed with a laughing smile when he jingled his case. " Am I suppose to be surprised?"

"The best story of the year to be exact." he laughed with the princess of the sea. "If I have it my way she won't be found to be placed into the coffin to be fair, in fact instead of her body they'd find a shriveled old lady in her place." He grinned villainously with her friend. "If only that darn prince would even talk to me I'm sure I could easily get his attention and love without magic."

She started looking Indigo over, something her mom told her several times not to do because it was 'rude'. She took in everything she could get about him, noticing he was slightly older than her, maybe by a few months or a year, though she could still not pinpoint his exact fairytale origins.

He just shook his head slightly, with a smile, after Vixella spoke, then he glanced towards Elodie when she spoke up. Elliot hesitated slightly, but he also found himself growing a little annoyed. However, he knew that he was going to have to try and be diplomatic and calm, especially since Vixella was clearly growing more irritated, and he was concerned about her hurting herself. "Well. My mother can definitely be unpredictable, yes, but she's by no means an awful ruler. Besides, there is no one 'right' way to rule, and no one, including Snow White, is entirely perfect. Our story origins just highlight certain traits according to the character's role." Elliot spoke up, in something of an attempt to put a new light on the conversation.
He knew that Vixella and himself were on opposite sides of the Destiny and Defy argument, but that didn't stop him being close friends with her. After all, he figured that if she wanted to work on her own destiny, then so be it - he just wanted to be able to go through with his own destiny.

He did a jump on the ice, before skating around into a series of tight spins, trying to shake off the unnerving feeling that he had. Eventually, he slid back into a stop, and he caught movement out of the corner of his eye. He turned around sharply, to look towards the trees that he saw the movement. He quietly gasped when he saw the shadows moving, and the figures emerging from them. He stepped backwards on the ice, slowly. "What...?" he whispered to himself. Then, he gritted his teeth slightly. "Stay away from me..." he warned, raising a hand towards the shadowy figures. He wasn't entirely sure what he could do, but hopefully whatever these shadowy creatures were - he could only really make out their eyes and creepy, unnatural smiles - they'd leave him alone. His heart pounded in his chest - he should have known to trust his gut and leave when he first felt that something was off.

"Oh. Well, in that case, you'll definitely have to give it a go at some point!" Nickolai insisted, and then he nodded sincerely. "Of course. It'll be good fun, and you are allowed to have that sometimes - even if your father won't approve. And no one is good when they start - the first time I went, I fell over at least twenty times and skidded down the mountain an awful lot... mostly because I kept trying again. I'll let you know when I get to arrange something." he added, looking forward to the prospect of the trip. He just wanted to ask a few others first, since he figured it would be more fun in a group. Even Piper Rat, he thought, even though they were meant to be enemies.
Nickolai smiled warmly, "Well, I'll be sure to get on that at some point soon - perhaps tomorrow - then, as to not deprive everyone of gingerbread for too much longer."

~Announcement~

At that moment, an announcement by the Headmaster is made through the loudspeakers in the school - the sound able to travel, being enchanted, to the forest and Enchanted Lake.
"Welcome back to all our students! I hope you enjoyed your Winter Break, and you are all now ready to get back to learning in preparation for your future destiny! Now, in half an hour, all students must go to the auditorium, for a special announcement! Do not be late!"
There's a 'click' as the loudspeakers are switched off, indicating the end of the announcement.

with a suspicious look in her eyes ronni watched the wolf as it sat down. eyeing its movements ,, a shrug and an eye roll ,, she decided that this wolf was no normal wolf. ronni didn't know of any animal that could either roll its eyes or shrug. these things were human movements. so upon seeing the wolf do both she was filled with the impression that it was a human disguising itself as the canine. but as the thing chuckled the girl took a small step back. she had not expected the wolf to be able to snicker. in a matter of moments ronni felt that the encounter was becoming quite strange ,, and she wasn't sure if she enjoyed it. but still she was curious to see if the wolf was just a magical creature or a person. keeping her distance ronni walked around the wolf in a half circle. well ,, aren't you full of surprises. ronni flatly said as the wolf spoke. by now she wasn't too surprised that he could speak but it was still a bit of a shocker. walking back around saffron stood in the spot that she had been standing before. or possibly you're a shifter. it was more of a statement than a question ,, but she could be wrong. there were many strange things throughout all of the kingdoms around. a talking wolf was a first but not the most bizarre thing saffron had heard of. if anything it was one of the more tame creatures she's learned of.

wren rolled his eyes when gage refereed to him as "little hood". it made him sound like little red riding hood ,, and it looked as if she wasn't around. with a huff wren corrected her. please ,, i prefer the prince of thieves. but wren couldn't help but smirk as gage informed him that she knew his looks. did he really make a look when searching for goodies? if so wren figured he should work on his poker face. then again he was talking to gage ,, a girl who knew him better than most. so of course it made sense that she would know his thieving look while others wouldn't. oh. don't refer to the lazy slums as lazy slums! the teen joked. he fully agreed with her though. if the poor are so poor then they should help themselves by getting a job and earning their share! though wren was happy he got a portion of the charitable proceeds. not all of them go to jail! only the stupid ones who get themselves caught by immediately spending the riches. wren found it funny how gage wasn't at all surprised as he shook his luggage full of jingly riches. most anybody else would be horrified and disgusted that he was stealing. in some ways wren couldn't help but steal. if he sees something that he likes and he wants it then he takes it. it's more so a horrible impulse that he can't control so he let's it take him over. he didn't care though because in the end he ends up with something of great value. hearing the headmaster come onto the pa system wren shakes his head. oh joy! did you hear that princess ,, an announcement announcing a special announcement. shall we start heading down then? he asked holding his arm out for her to take ,, of course it was in a joking manner.

while indigo didn't know maddison at all he was happy that she seemed to of enjoyed her winter break. it looked as if most of the students had gone home and were coming back with smiles on their faces. indigo felt quite jealous of those students. oh how he wished he could just go home and get along with his mom. heavily sighing indigo tried to shove these thoughts away but they ate at him the more he tried to fight them. it was useless to even try to indigo just let them invade his head. but upon hearing that maddison wanted to know who his fairy tale parent was indigos mind went blank with panic. wh-what about m-me? he repeated the question. his eyes wandered of the ground as he contemplated actually telling her that he was the son of a crazy sea witch who was out for the blood of merpeople. biting his lip indigo just figured that there was no avoiding the truth ,, it was bound to come out sooner or later and it was best not to lie. i'm the son of the ... of the sea witch. he answered fully expecting for maddison to give him a freaked out look before telling him that she had to go. upon hearing the headmaster give an announcement about something special to be announced in the auditorium. he wondered what the announcement was and he was curious to find out. looking from the ground back to maddison indigo nervously smiled. how would she react to learning that he was the son of a sea witch?

lyra felt giddy at the thought of going out with a group of other students and snowboarding. her smile just grew wider until t almost hurt her to grin. oh i won't mind failing time and time again! patience and practice is key. if one has patience then they have the ability to try and try again until there is improvement. that was something her father always told her when trying to mount her horse the for the first time. her horse just wouldn't have it and would reel up and buck wildly. but after some time she was finally able to do it without the fear of the horse scurrying off. lyra wondered who else would want to go skiing. maybe the whole school could get together and go on a ski trip! yes ,, i believe everyone is horribly gingerbread deprived! though don't rush yourself to start anything if it may be too much to handle. there are quite a few students here so you would have to make a lot of gingerbread. i wouldn't want you to worry yourself!hearing a voice starting to speak lyra glanced around before realizing it was the headmaster speaking on the pa system. a special announcement? ooh that sounds quite fun! i wonder what it could be!

"By all means Snow if you want to follow your destiny I won't stop you but look at it from the view of my mother and me; We sleep for one-hundred years, waking up to find all of our friends are gone and passed on, only having the memories from when we were here now not with them. We don't get to grow old with them or enjoy having kids and having play dates with them! I don't want that and I don't want anyone else going through that! You only eat an apple and are out for a day if that. You get it easy!" Vixella hissed at her before regaining her composure as the announcement from the head master went off. "Well Elliot, shall we go? The royal pain in the heart needs to get his seat in the front and be in the center of attention after all." She said as she began walking away with her heels clicking behind her not looking back to see if her friend was following behind.

Gage knew shook her head with a shrug trying to come up with a new nickname. "Can I call you Hoodie at least? Come on, I want something special. Then what should I refer to those types as? Hey, most of them are idiots; just saying."She smiled as the announcement went off catching her attention then looking back to the prince of mischief with look over glance when he offered her his arm jokingly, she wrapped her arm around his to play along. "Sounds delightful. We shall indeed."She responded looking over at him.

That would be a blessing for you but a curse for me as I'd feel I'm losing a friend; granted I know I could come and see you whenever but I'd have to turn you back into legs Dione when I marry that hunk fo a prince just to have you as a grooms-maid." Cassidy chuckled but he was being completely serious and honest with the girl. He looked around when the announcement rang through the area. "Ah, we should probably get going to that." Cassidy added at the end of the announcement.

It's almost a class telling the Defy how to not follow their destiny. And of course I'll be the grooms-maid at your wedding," she winked. "So long as you promise it won't be all white doves and flowers and vows."

Erika watched with delight as the figures emerged from the darkness, looking absolutely menacing and even a little demonic. It was amazing. She fidgeted around on her branch, Dylan's reactions to the shadowy figures alone was making her restless. She looked over to Dynasty, perfectly aware that she was totally visible to her, giving her a wide grin. "Do it!" She mouthed silently, eyes flashing with excitement. Turning her attention back to Dylan, she kneaded her claws into the branch as she mentally prepared herself for the grand finale. This is gonna be GREAT! She thought, barely containing her giggles escaping from between her teeth.

After a few more seconds passed, Dynasty subtly raised her hand and lightly flicked her wrist. Beside her, hidden in the dark shadows, a lion emerged from the depths of some unspoken place and she looked to it. Her eyes widened as her hand twisted, conjuring the lion to do her bidding. It puffed its chest and took in a deep breath. Widening its mouth the lion let out a magnificent roar, it shook the trees around them and the ground below with velocity. Dy looked to Erika and nodded, signalling it was her turn
