↠ Chandler continued to swim through the water, unfortunately for him he was quite slow due to his fairly large size and probably because he was quite poor at swimming, his movements being stiff and awkward. Keeping his head above the water, he looked around and searched for the figure, where did it go? Grunting in a rather annoyed manor, he turned to look back at the shore. The dark haired woman was gone! And now there was somebody else on the beach, this time a brunette. Were his eyes playing tricks on him? Confusion crossed his face as he turned in the water, beginning to approach the shallows once more in order to get back to his makeshift camp, muttering under his breath as he did so. Surely he was going mad? Chasing things and seeing people who change in the blink of an eye.
Once again, after dunking his head under the water and reemerging afterwards, the woman he thought he saw in the shade was gone. He was definitely losing his mind, Chandler decided as he waded back onto the beach and towards the tent he had previously set him, muttering and removing his shirt in order to wring it out then hang it over a low hanging tree branch to dry off.

↠ Anahita continued to swim alongside the ship, remaining underneath the water, though, her face occasionally breaking the surface as she stared up the side of the boat curiously. The loud clattering certainly caught the nereid off-guard, earning a surprised gasp and causing her steady swim to falter slightly. What if it was dangerous? Or a weapon? That wasn't good! Instantly, Anahita retreated deeper into the water, staring at the vessel from beneath the surface and then seeing a female face peering over the side down into the water, almost directly looking at the sea creature. Nervous, but still willing to make friends, the girl swam upwards once more, only enough to allow her eyes and nose to break the surface of the water, staring at the woman and then cocking her head to the side much like a bird or dog would.
"Hello!" She greeted, raising a hand to wave it slightly, the other remaining underwater, "You, um...dropped your book? In the water..?" Anahita continued, chuckling nervously.
