XXXXThe male let out a nervous chuckle before shrugging. "Yeah- I guess you could call us a gang. I mean i'm not the most active member, I prefer to be by myself." At the mentioning of why there were here Eve felt himself flush. He didn't know. He shrugged again before he spoke, "I mean i'm not the one to make that decision so. In fact i'd rather not talk about that-it's kind of boring since I talk about it almost everyday."

XXXXThe fighter nodded as he crossed his arms over his chest, slowly tracing his scar beforehand. He glanced up as Elias made his statement. "Don't worry Elias, I won't be shifting anytime soon. Saving my energy for more important things." The male let out a soft yawn before looking up at the sky, watching the clouds slowly drift by.

XXXXThe hunter nodded, quickly turning back to her apartment door and making sure it was closed. She let out a soft smile before the duo started to walk down the town. "Man, I haven't gotten a good day to just chill in a while. But with the apex coming up in a dar or two I should start preparing mentally for the shift." Stevie wasn't the only one who wasn't the best at shifting-she usually got out of control fast and she needed to be able to calm herself, so she spent days doing yoga and meditating to try and prevent that from happening.

The young woman walked down the street, her black boots making a clicking sound with each step. Her hair swayed from side to side as she scanned the area for any of her pack members. She was coming up on the park and Malina noticed a man doing stunts on the equipment that was typically played on by the children. She watched as he threw himself up in the air and did three flips before hitting the ground with a sickening crunch that she could hear from where she stood. It's these moments that I don't really appreciate having this good of hearing. Just another perk of being a werewolf. Malina could tell it was Ari and shook her head while grinning. She walked over to her fellow fighter and did a slow clap as she looked down at him. "Wow, absolutely incredible." Malina stopped and offered him her hand to help him stand. "But in all seriousness, are you okay?"

The breath had been knocked out of him and ari was gasping, trying to refill his lungs with sweet oxygen. His mouth hung open but he dared not move too much in case he hurt himself even more. Finally he started getting some air back when Malian walked over. He opened one of his eyes to look at her and gave a weak smile like he wasnt hurt. Her mocking clap made him roll his eyes even though they were closed. "Tha-thank you, I try" he replied, clearing his throat since his voice came out raspy at first. He took her hand and slowly lifted himself to his feet, grimacing a little with pain. "I think I strained something in my neck... But I dont think I'm broken" he rubbed his hand gingerly over the back of his neck and shoulders. Nothing felt out of place or broken and boy was he lucky with a fall like that. He started turning his head to the right then to the left. He felt something roll and pop and he groaned, keeping his head turned to the left. He whispered some vulgar language and chuckled weakly, "ya, I did something to my neck" he spoke weakly, head still turned.

David sat in a corner booth at a small cafe, his reading glasses sitting on the tip of his nose. He had a small soda and a tray with a burger and some fries laying on it. He took a few fries and ate them, making sure to wipe his fingers free of grease before turning the page of hiw book. Occasionally he would look up from his book and scan the cafe. Not many people were around and he was only disturbed by the waitress ocasionally. She was a middle aged women, possibly his age and seemed to have some interest in david. Thankfully she wasnt obvious about it and only showed her interest by offering him a refill on his soda more often then normal. He would politely decline and once again return to his book.

Malina frowned when she heard Ari's neck pop and watched him grimace in pain. "I know I'm not a healer, but is there a way that I can help? Or at least ease the pain until we find someone who can." Yes, she was definitely no healer. She was a fighter, and did the exact opposite of what someone with a good knowledge of medicine would do. Instead, she would be the one inflicting pain. When she had first joined the pack, Malina hadn't expected to receive the fighter rank since she hadn't been able to train for 18 years. It turned out though, that she was quite good at it, and over the years, she only got better.

Ari slowly turned hia head back to face malina and grimanced. "No, its okay though, just help me back to one of the healers please" he smiled slightly and turned to walk back to where most the pack stayed. "So, you saw that whole thing. The flip and thr fall?" He asked, keeping a hand pressed on his neck to keep himself from looking around. He looked at malina from the corner of his eye, trying to see get face without turning his head.

Malina nodded and smiled faintly. "Yep, all of it." She looked forward as she walked and kept herself from letting her smile grow any bigger. Malina felt better that he was able to walk and began to walk towards where some of the pack was known to stay. She didn't know if staying in the town much longer was such a good idea with all of the disappearances happening. It wouldn't be good if one of the pack members were blamed since the entire pack would probably end up leaving.

"I heard somewhere that the ladies are totally into guys who can...'t pull off stunts." he laughed again and shrugged, wincing as pain shot through his spine and neck. "Ahh, shrugging isn't a good idea." he smiled weakly and tried not to think about it.

"Sure kiddo, I can push you" Toby said, smiling down at Alyssa. He knew that she wanted to play badly, but she needed to take it easy for a while so that her knees would heal. Noticing Alyssa's wince, Toby gently gave her head an affectionate pat, " I'm sorry it hurts kiddo. I promise you'll feel better soon." He gently began to push her wheelchair out of the clinic " Alrighty then, let's have that picnic! What would you like for lunch, pumpkin? We can have anything you want to eat."

" You're welcome!" Gilly chuckled, the mischievous glint still in his cheerful eyes," And you're right. I like to take my time so that I look my best when I go out." He smoothed out his brightly colored Hawaiian shirt for emphasis. It was obvious that Gilly's personality was as cheerful- and flamboyant- as his clothing style. " Really?" He laughed warmly, " I didn't know I looked like the kind of guy to own a smart car or van. I'm flattered!" He said with a playful win, " I do own a van, it's for work though." Gilly shut the door for her after she buckled up, then hopped into the driver's seat and buckled up himself. " Okie dokey, here we go. The waterfall isn't too far away, but we'll have to hike just a bit" He said cheerfully, adding " If you're hungry, there's granola bars and water bottles in my bag over there. And shotgun has control of the radio. I must warn you though, I have an unhealthy collection of 311 and Bob Marley cds in the glove box if you're into that kind of music." Gilly pulled out of the hotel parking lot and headed towards to the spot he had told Jessie about before.

" Oh oh! Could we eat... A BIRTHDAY CAKE?! " Alyssa squeals and giggles at him, her mind racing about all the crazy things they could eat today. She smiles up at him as he pushes her along. Toby is such an amazing daddy... He is the nicest person in the world! Alyssa thinks, grinning widely. " And we can eat snow cones, peanut butter, jello, and you can buy me a dog! " She exclaims, getting ansty from sitting down for so long and from all the amazing ideas she has had. " Daddy can I get a ride on you shoulders? I HATE this wheelchair! " She whines, with a stern look on her face.

" Birthday cake?" Toby chuckled, his eyes holding a mischievous sparkle, " Would regular cake be okay? I think cake for lunch would be okay just this one time. But just this once, kiddo " He beams down at her crookedly and lightly boops her nose. Toby may have looked intimidating to some people, but Alyssa had him wrapped around her finger. He was a huge push-over when it came to make her happy; she could have asked him for almost anything and he would have accepted. Puppies were a different story though. " Nice try, kiddo. I said we could have anything you wanted to eat!" He chuckled warmly, " I'm sorry pumpkin, I can't buy you a dog today. I'll think about it though, i promise. " Toby stopped the wheelchair as she asked if she could ride on his shoulders, " Sure you can, kiddo." He nodded. Very gently, he picked her up and set her on his broad shoulders. " Comfortable?" The dark-haired healer asked, looking up at Alyssa.
