"Now you can either sleep here for the night or we could go see if the humans in the forest are getting mauled by other vampires or not," he said with a small smirk on his lips as he put the pup in his lap and played with it. His hands could cover most of the pups face as the little creature was going nuts.

Tom looked at the male as he was quite unsure. He didn't really want to go out in the woods, and maybe get mauled by another vampire. Of course the guy would probably keep him safe, but he still wasn't risking it. Not one bit. " Uh, I rather stay here for the night. " He said. He didn't want to go through the same thing again. Th male just wasn't going to risk at at all. Not one bit.

Max seemed to get an idea after he had noticed how uneasy Tom was after his response, he reached for his pile of gym supplies near them almost falling sideways since he didn't want to move the pup in his lap. From the pile, he pulled out a pouch that seemed have vervain sticking out of it and the end of a stake. He carefully brought it over to Tom cursing as he let it down a liquid seeping through the material onto the vampire's hand that he quickly pulled away as it started burning. "How stupid can I seem offering you this?" Max said with an annoyed look at the small bag.

Tom watched as he wondered what he had to say. He still didn't want to go out in the woods. It was something he didn't want to be doing. Not at all. He looked at the small bag as he was confused. Why was this guy offering him this. It didn't make sense to him at all. " Well, I'm not sure why you would offer me this. I'm no hunter, and don't plan to even kill any vampire. " He said, as he looked at the bag. Honestly, he didn't want to take it at all. He did want to know why the guy would even offer him this when he wasn't even a hunter. It didn't make sense to him at all one bit.

"I understand that but at least take some of the things a little guy like you can defend himself with," He stood up slowly "I won't let any harm come to you but if anything happens. It's better to have some things on you then having to stay here again, don't you think?" Max started cleaning up the mess he had made when he mumbled to himself "I'm starting to act a bit too human..."

Tom raised an eyebrow when he mentioned he was little. It was true, but he didn't liked be called small or little. It was something that did get on his nerve. " I'm not little. You are right about defending myself, but I can fight without a stake or vervain. Of course Tom couldn't, but he was being himself again. He didn't let people see that he was small that he couldn't fight. Vampires were way stronger so there was a chance they could beat him, but Tom didn't see it that way. " Yeah, I know. You are right about that. " He said. He knew the vampire wouldn't let any harm come to him.
