Declan Durante
_____Eris King had been the bright-eyed angel in the hallways of Westhaven High school all year. Declan did seem to be really great at dodging her though. All year it seemed he was so busy with all of his extracurriculars, he was always running somewhere. Between training with his father, a man hell-bent on overthrowing the Westhaven Alpha, and keeping up grades, participating in sports and even keeping track of his sister, Eris became the girl he stole glimpses of. Usually in the hallways, sometimes she would be sitting on the steps of the school's entrance waiting for Falon likely... or getting in a truck with Roman. Either way, Declan had only had moments in passing with her before now and he would take full advantage of all of his time.
_____"You're very welcome," he told her in passing, laughing at her joke with a nod. "Oh yeah, how could I forget," he snickered. Grabbing up a few items from the line of what was left over, he followed Eris over to see what prey she managed to find- Declan did often have too much fun picking on others sometimes. It was a power complex thing, and sure it was a jerk thing to do, but it was way better than what his father used to do- commit mass murder for fun. The brute was about to chime in but realized it was Cylas, Eris's cousin. "Oh hey, Eris this is your cousin right?" he asked, curious if he would be able to get in the good graces of the girl's family decently quick. Not to mention the son of the man my mother kidnapped, branded and almost killed, he thought in his head, trying not to grit his teeth too hard.
_____Taking Eris's plate he made a 'pfft,' sound before kissing her cheek. "I don't kiss up- I'm just a good guy," he corrected her with a smirk. He would certainly be kissing her though, over and over again. "See you later, Cylas," Declan winked before following Eris out the door with their food. "Oh why thank you," he said jokingly, he did mean it, but was just teasing her for her prior comment. Declan went through the doorway and let Eris lead them back to her cabin, she probably had felt safer there than his, which was fine with him. He thanked her once more as she opened the door for them and went to her bed, putting the food down.
_____"That shirt suits you," he smirked, taking a bite of a cold burger he had made up for himself earlier. The brute offered a hand as she pulled herself up into bed with him and he shrugged at her question. "Hm- Not really sure, how about world peace? The hurricane we are nowhere near? We could talk about the pack... or we can just talk about you and why you're single because I'm starting to wonder what could possibly be wrong with you that you don't already have a boyfriend-" he joked, tilting his head a bit with a playful smile. "Perhaps I'm the other man," he shrugged, again joking as he laughed and shook his head. "I'm just teasing,"
Basil Attwood
_____"Well, that's a relief, I guess?" Basil hadn't been too sure of himself, as no one had ever explained such social roles to him, his parents were just over the moon they were able to have healthy children, even more so when they didn't have to worry about Basil's skin like they would their own, and later, Aloe's. "That makes sense," he nodded to her reply. "I've lived in the same place my whole life- this place is my first move," he nodded with a smile. It was fun and exciting but also terrifying. He wondered how his dad was when he first moved out on his own with the pack. Basil nervously glimpsed at her face as she browsed through his pieces, unsure as he had never really shown them to anyone- not even his family.
_____A bit taken back by her reply, he laughed and shook his head, wanting so badly to just take them away now. "No- no- you're just saying that they're fine- they're not all that great," he dismissed with a wave of his hand. It wasn't long before she managed to hand him back his book of landscapes and proposed a new subject. "M-my model?" he asked, turning very dark red. From what he had read about in the college course descriptions, as he was considering taking a few classes when they went home, life drawing often meant models with no clothes- it was how most people began to get the lines of people just right.
_____"I-I don't think I'd be very good at it-" he shook his head. "Drawing people can be a whole new game... and wolves even more so," he laughed, afraid he may insult her with how poorly his job may be done. "Restaraunt de la forest may be," he laughed. "We won't be going back to town for some time... I'm afraid we will have to make one up," he admitted, tucking his book back under his bed along with the art supplies. "As for pizza dough- have you ever made it? It's actually quite hard," he laughed, remembering how he could never get it to rise properly as they always had fresh ingredients and not aged yeast.
_____"Nothing really to talk about," he shrugged, wishing it were true. "She just doesn't need me anymore and hates the sight of me it seems- but maybe with the right distractions I'll just let her do her thing and not be so protective," he shrugged. Basil looked up at her with a soft smile. "I'll be honest, sunrises are pretty amazing, I do agree-" he nodded, laughing a bit at her latter comment. "Oh trust me, I get that too- it's probably why I get so short with people... and impatient," he admitted. Basil shook his head and waved a dismissive hand at the girl's apology. "No worries- I have heard worse," he laughed.
_____Basil thought for a good moment or two about questions, but he had been out of them for a while, not really sure how the whole friendship thing worked. "I'm not really sure, is there anything I should know about you? I'm just used to asking about blood type and pre-existing health conditions," he smirked.
