female ⤖ werewolf ⤖ reference ⤖ 16 ⤖ single ⤖ in Basil’s cabin ⤖ bunk 17 with Rosemary ⤖ tagged: Basil

Zion gave him a tiny knowing smirk, and moved on with the subject. “No no, I’m fine,” she replied with a chuckle, adding, “I’m a tough cookie, don’t worry.” Sitting up as Basil readjusted himself, the girl lifted her arms over her head slightly, carefully pulling together all of her long, light-coloured hair before she carefully began to thread it into a braid. She half-smiled back at him at his comment about green, and continued to listen. “Lavender is a pretty colour.” She replied with a smile. “Not very common, especially for guys, it definitely a good choice.”
She chuckled lightly, still feeling the warmth of the summer sun radiating off her skin from the entire day, and knowing exactly what he meant. Her warm summer glow probably ended up his grandest reddening aggravation. Zion nodded slightly in acknowledgement of his answer and reasoning, but she tilted her head slightly, finishing her braid and tying it at the end while looking at him a bit quizzically. “You don’t sound like you’re sure of your answers,” She commented lightly, with a hint of a question.
Smiling mischievously, she rocked back a little bit in thought. “Favourite season… I haven’t got one. I love the warmth of the summer and the fact that I can go swimming, plus the rains. The summer rains are amazing. I love the winter for the snow and how beautiful, quiet and still everything gets.” She chuckled lightly, adding, “And I like summer because of the colour,” she gestured at him, agreeing with his prior statements, “and because it has the most neutral temperatures, so I get to wear a dress, a pair of jeans or my favourite leather jacket.” She grinned at him slightly, playfully embarrassed at part of the reasoning for why she’d liked the season. Continuing on, she stated, “Red is kind of my trademark colour—I love red, black and white together, you can just never go wrong with that—but I’m going through a green phase right now, actually.” She laughed slightly. “Bright summer greens are amazing, aren’t they?”
She focused on him briefly, staring back at him momentarily as she thought about his new question. “For… the wolf palate, I’m not sure. I’ve only caught a few things and I don’t have a full spectrum of available flavour. For human food, however…” She grinned mischievously. “I like spicy food, but not all the time. I love thai food, I love sushi, I love pita, I love pho…” She laughed at herself a bit here, and continued. “I really like all sorts of food, particularly from different cultures, but those are my main ones.” Jokingly pleading, she added, “Please don’t make me choose a specific dish.” Chucking slightly, she readjusted her crossed legs. “You?” She paused briefly, thinking up new questions. “Do you like having a sister? What’s it like?” She paused again briefly, then added, “Are you a morning person or a night person?” The girl looked at him expectantly.

Roman King

⫸ Werewolf ⫷⫸ Single ⫷⫸ Rank - Delta ⫷⫸ Tagged - Kirsa ⫷

Roman realized that he wasn't getting anywhere with this female. She asked him if he was a part of the pack and Roman wanted to roll his eyes at her. It was obvious as day that he was indeed a part of the pack. "Yes ma'am. Delta , at your service., " the wolf bowed, shortly after his own introduction. " The name is Roman. What is your name ?," the wolf returned from the short bow to stand tall in front of the strange wolf. He took a few steps in front of the female and ushered for her to follow him. Maybe if they walked behind the group and talked for a bit they wouldn't be so hostile towards one another.

    - Sorry it's short. don't know what to write. -

Eris King

◊◈ Werewolf ◊◈ Single - Open ◊◈ Rank - Hunter ◊◈ Tagged - Declan ◊◈

Once Declan made the comment about females and their skin. Eris couldn't help but to wonder how many females had said something about their skin being wrinkly. " Don't let me look old before I have to.," she laughed as her arms wrapped themselves around his neck. Declan shifted into his wolf and carried her out of the water. When he lowered to the ground, she slipped off only to be greeted by splashing waters from Declan 'wringing' out his fur. " Thanks Durante, I needed the shower. , " she made a comment as she wiped the water off of her face. Her eyes watching him shift from wolf to human once again.

She took one glance at the water as she realized that tonight would be one to remember. Declan greeted her with a shirt in his hand, handing his shirt to her. " You're so sweet. I guess that would have been a good idea huh ?," she laughed at herself. Eris removed her soaked tank top from her body and slipped on the shirt he offered her. His scent lingered through the shirt, giving Eris such a warm vibe. " I hope you know, this shirt is OUR shirt now., " she apprised him, making it known that they were going to be sharing this shirt if they continued their friendship or relationship.

Declan began asking questions about if she was hungry or not. Eris' could feel the pit of her stomach gurgling for food. She remembered that she had not eaten a thing since they left on the bus that morning. Eris then thought they could grab some food and head back to one of their cabins. " Why don't we go get some food and head back to eat in one of our cabins ?," she offered. Even if they did not have any TV or any sort of signal here, she would not mind sitting in a room and eating with him.

Kirsa

oh my God they actually call themselves Delta and Alpha and stuff like in the movies. That's kinda hilarious.
Kirsa withstood the urge to giggle, being the immature teenager she was. She could've sworn that that was just movie magic, but no.
"I'm Kirsa." She reaponded, awkwardly watching him bow. "Hey, noo need for formalities." She added.
After watching his little follow me motion, she picked up her pace to catch up, "So, where exactly are we going?"

"Well, I think a death would have been pretty obvious. People once said at an old school of mine someone died in the fire escape during a fire drill, even though it wasn't true." She said skeptically. She may have been the mystery type, but it was difficult to get her to believe rumors spread by high school students.
"Oh! No it's fine. I just wanted to make sure she checked in alL right. She's a bit of a ditz sometimes. I don't know a Lelani either, but I'm sure they'll get along. Kirsa always does." She chuckled.
Excuses.
Her subconscious weighed in in her, and she forced it back. She was just overprotective after all the stuff that had been happening. Clingy, yes, and she was trying to reel herself in.
She had figured it out that he was the camp counsellor, so it didn't catch her off guard,
"I don't need to take a torch in there with me, right?" She joked, motioning to the dark cabin.

Cloud
When she noticed the smirk on his face, she was always preparing the most snarky comment possible in her head.Well y'know, I don't know if my scent skills had weakened a bit since I left Alaska. People smell different there :I. Like fresh snow and cut wood.
"Well, I had to make sure. You smell different. Like fruit, almost."
The werewolf casually added to his statement, "Plus, you seem to be a bit too solitary for a human. Humans aren't generally very solitary, although there is the exception."
Assuming his heel turn was a yes (regardless of whether or not it actually was), she turned after him, ready to follow him.

male ⤖ werewolf ⤖ reference ⤖ 17 ⤖ single ⤖ in camp ⤖ bunk 20 with Daniel ⤖ tagged: Cloud

Returning to my regular poker face, I was about to respond when the she-wolf’s comment reached me. “I… what? Like fruit?” I asked, a hint of embarrassed indignation seeping through my stoic defence, turning slightly to look full-on at her face, checking is she was making fun of me. Fruit?
Mentally waving this aside, I responded to her logic, questioning. “Werewolves are usually pack creatures though, aren’t they?” I continued to walk, aware she was matching pace with me, until we ended up in the clearing, to which I streaked away with a few steps and shifted abruptly. I looked toward the girl calmly, waiting for her to shift before I asked, “Which way would you like to go first? I can smell a river a while off, we can follow that and see where it goes.”

{{A little stuck here, not too sure of what else they'll talk about. Feel free to insert some new topics!

----------Patrick had finally calmed his mom and managed to sneak away from her. She was pretty upset with everything that had happened, and Patrick felt bad for ditching her but she was asleep and Patrick had to talk to Damon. He headed out to find Damon and when he found him, the first thing the boy did was punch the bigger male in the arm."That's for calling me Pat," he explained as he tucked his hand in his coat pockets. "You know I hate being called that. Mom's asleep, finally. You upset her pretty bad, Damon. Patrick looked at the man that he knew as dad and sighed softly. "She does need to stop so uptight though... but anyway, I just wanted to hear more about this scout job."

----------I had just typed an entire paragraph for Carrigan before I realized Aurelius had moved on. That's what I get for not reading through everything, I guess lol!

Cloud

"Um, yeah???? You all smell like fruit here, but with different flavors and stuff. It's really weird."
Cloud was obviously befuzzled. She wasn't lying; the various trees and scent from fruit trees nearby had flung itself upon everyone, but it was very faint. Even she was barely able to smell it, since her scent was her strongest sense and stronger than most others, although her other skills were mediocre.
"I thought that was just in animal documentaries and on those forums online. I've never actually seen a pack of like, a dozen in real life. Only about one or two at a time, maaaaaybe three."
Upon watching him shift, Cloud studied him first. He was bigger than her and leaner than she was, as well as darker. He'd be harder to see in the dark, but his scent became omnipresent: Cedarwood (or atleast to her interpretation, as she did not know the exact name of the scent, just that it was a tree.
After her moment of studying, she shifted herself. Her form was a few inches smaller than him (ironically, since she towered over most humans in human form), but she was surprisingly muscular for her size. It was all the sled pulling she used to do, although she had gotten leaner since then.
"A river, hm?"
She sniffed the air a few times. She couldn't see perfectly or hear like some sort of wizard like some werewolves could, but her scent was wizard-like, as she was used to hunting by smell. "I can smell more werewolves somewhere in this camp, a freshly put out campfire... and fruit trees."
She licked her jaws. She hadn't eaten in several hours.
"I think we should hit the fruit trees first." She said, blindly unaware that these were near the greenhouse and was not a good idea to take their food in the middle of the night.
She didn't wait for her anyway, flicking her fluffy tail and following the barely-tangible scent, "So, what were you doing out this late anyway?" She called back, "Going swimming or something?"

Alibhe
Alibhe was a bit nervous to be at the camp all alone, but he didn't want to be hiding from everyone forever, and he wanted to make some friends. It was already dark when he arrived, as he hadn't taken the bus and the car got stuck behind a car accident at an intersection and it took ages to circumnavigate it.
He flipped his hood down, running a hand through his hair.
"Hey mom, can I get a flashlight?"

Flashlight in hand, he managed to find his way (generally) around the camp, eventually finding the lake. He found smoldering ashes of a campfire and he realized that everyone had probably gone to sleep. It was almost midnight, after all.
He kicked a stone into the lake, not knowing where he was going to sleep. Should he find a counseller? Were there any out at this late hour? Perhaps he'd just settle for a tree.
He heard a howl off in the distance, and it made him jump, Right, there's wolves about. Hopefully they don't bother me much.
He turned off his flashlight. Don't want to waste the battery.

Martin

Martin was obviously uncomfortable at being unable to take his double bass to camp. In fact, he was uncomfortable going pretty much anywhere without his instrument when other people were involved.
Samuel had been trying to distract him for awhile, playing go--fish, i-spy, and the like. He appreciated that his brother had been trying to make him feel better, but it didn't work so much when the two were assigned different cabins.
Lying in his cabin bed, his duffel bag of "luggage" kicked underneath him, he found it hard to sleep. He heard a faint howl somewhere outside, but it didn't surprise him. Werewolves were everywhere nowadays, so it was only natural for them to be here, too.
He had attended the campfire with Samuel, but he hadn't done too much. When everyone else had started leaving, Sam had asked a counsellor about their cabins, and he seemed distraught when they were in different oned.
Unable to sleep still, he groaned and rolled out of bed. He didn't know if his bunkmate was in bed, but he didn't care. He sat on the front deck of the cabin, staring out at the woods quietly. Hopefully he wouldn't get in trouble.

Samuel

Sam was trying his best to have fun or atleast entertain Martin while they were at the camp. It was a good chance to make some friends, although he was still a bit shy towards others. At the campfire, everyone seemed to know one another! It was so intimidating to him, not having a clique.
He hadn't gone to his cabin yet, not really feeling tired. He was a bit bored and unable to sleep, so why not explore a bit?
He didn't really have a clue where he was going, but he kept retracing the path back to his cabin to make sure he didn't get lost. Eventually, both campfires were put out, so it was a bit too late to go there.
He was still carrying his luggage, which wasn't much. He was really looking for a greenhouse or something. Gardening would keep him occupied for hours!

Basil Attwood

_____Basil narrowed his eyes for a moment as he tilted his head at Zion's statement. "I never understood that simile," he commented, remembering his mother and father arguing- or rather 'discussing,' as they called it- over the same thing. "Cookies aren't that tough... even the tough ones are crumbly..." he laughed a bit. His smile faded a bit, into more of a 'oops,' expression when she mentioned lavender hadn't been popular among most guys. Basil hadn't really gotten out enough nor did he care what others thought often enough to realize it hadn't been a typical cis male color preference. "Oh- well- I hope that's not a bad thing," he laughed. Basil watched as her hair twirled and wound around itself as she spun it into a braid, something his mother and sister hadn't been into very much- he had seen Anya wear braids plenty of times, but never how she did it.
_____"Oh, uh no not really-" he replied, blinking as he looked up from her hands working at her hair. "I just have never been asked- guess I never thought about it," he replied honestly. Basil listened as she went on to answer his questions, he was intrigued by how thought out they had been, he figured at this point Zion must have had a lot of friends by the way she was so knowledgeable and confident in answering, perhaps she had been asked a lot before? Basil nodded and tried to think back on a summer rain- he could only remember one, and he did remember how nice the cold water had felt on his skin despite the humidity in the air. "My father would agree with you for winter- he loves a quiet home," he laughed. Their house had been pleasant growing up- always a dull chatter, a bit of laughter, and never silence. "And I would definitely agree with you for summer in that aspect- though I still think fall is my favorite," he laughed. Basil leaned down and reached under his bed, pulling out a large black zip-up binder.
_____Unzipping the case, Basil caught the pack of colored oil pencils he had packed away before they fell everywhere, then he handed over the book inside it. Though he was more into the medical type stuff, Basil found most of his tranquility in art. Mostly colorful landscape pieces, a few black and whites of winter with pops of color, nothing crazy fancy but he definitely had a talent for it. "You know- I tried to make friends once- with Bexley Durante- we had art class together all year and she always thought the color was a weakness in my work," he laughed. "Maybe that explained why I'm not too confident," he laughed a bit. Basil nodded and blushed a bit at her comment on colors. "I definitely agree, red suits you too I bet- though I haven't seen you in much of any color," he shrugged, but based on her blonde hair and blue eyes, red would have been stunning in the terms of complimentary colors.
_____Spicy food, thai, pho... the words were all foreign to him. "I think the spiciest food I have ever had, Iker and Danica- The Twin's parents- made... they were fajitas," he laughed. "And I haven't heard of the other foods much," he shook his head, not sure how to explain his parent's style of cooking. "My mom can cook anything, I swear- but she's very into basics and making them something incredible," he explained, using his hands a bit to talk. His mother actually had inspired his more artistic side a lot as a child, and now a young adult. Basil was the culinary clubs president all two years of his high school career. "She'll take chicken, or a steak of some sort and season or marinade it and then cook it perfectly and usually there's lots of fresh herbs and vegetables in there too," he nodded, trying to think of the kitchen in the Alpha house. "My dad's more of a toaster waffles kind of guy-" Basil laughed. "He's blind- so he goes for easy," the boy explained, realizing Zion never met his parents. "If I had to pick a favorite I would have to say it's pizza sadly- we never get to eat it," he rolled his eyes a bit- it was too processed for his parents to consider making and his mother didn't much care for it, though she would be happy eating anything.
_____"Having a sister is a pain-" he blurted out rather quickly, looking at his window as he wondered if Aloe had made it okay on the hunt. She was always safer at night because of her albinism, but still, it worried him. "I mean- you spend your whole life looking out for 'em and then one day they don't need you and get mad when you try to protect them," he explained- it was still a bit fresh. "We are both night people given enough sleep- " he laughed. He would miss being one in the same person with Aloe, but as people grow up, they do change. "I don't sleep much- so I get in weird moods like I was when I first woke up- but am generally pleasant most of the time and am not particularly happier at either time of day," he admitted. "How about you?

Declan Durante

_____The brute tossed his head back in a bit of a laugh, werewolves were always lucky in that aspect- they aged quickly until adulthood, but then their appearance seemed to slow down significantly as their bodies caught up with the years they actually were. "Oh I am sure you will be just fine- but just for you- we can get out," he smirked as he had already been walking to the sandy shore. Once they had both made it safely on their feet, and he shook himself out a bit- the brute shifted back and laughed- handing his shirt to her as compensation. "Oh yeah- you know- just making sure you didn't have any sand sticking to you," he laughed, lying a bit but making a decent point.
_____The brute shook his head and waved a hand at her. "Nah- I'm only a blueblood," he laughed. The expression was often 'i'm only human,' but for those that saw the werewolf race as superior- because they were- they usually swapped the words out, and for Declan's family being of good breeding decent, it was often a way to explain where their manners came from- beat into them nearly. It was a blessing and a curse. "Oh our shirt?" he laughed. "That's fine- I can share," he laughed, hoping somewhere between infusing their scents into the fibers of the cotton they would find time to wash it as well. The brute listened to her debate the options she presented and nodded. "Food it is," he confirmed, reaching down and grabbing her hand boldly, bringing it to his mouth to kiss the top of it. Declan then lifted his hand enough to twirl her under his arm until they were both facing the direction of the cabin so they could make the walk up.
_____"I bet you there are still some humans up here straggling," he laughed a bit. To his surprise, as he opened one of the large double doors to the mess hall for Eris, it was just two of the pack wolves who didn't go on the hunt. There had been a few things left over, mostly burgers, some bagged snacks, and sodas. Declan grabbed a little bit of everything on one plate, looking at Cylas and an unknown brute out of the corner of his eye in curiosity. "Want me to carry that for you," he asked her, offering his free hand so he could follow her back to her cabin.

Austin Kidd

_____"Yikes," he grit his teeth a bit. "Yeah, I guess that's always a thing- people saying things to get an ear or two to listen, even if they aren't true," he shrugged. He didn't much care for liars. "Oh yeah?" he asked, raising a brow a bit. "And what about you? Do you get along with everyone too?" he asked. Almi seemed pretty pleasant, she was nice to spend time with, but there was something in her voice and expressions that said she wasn't quite comfortable around people. Austin shook his head at her question and laughed a bit, walking up the steps to her cabin and opening the door. Once stepping inside he flipped the light switch on and smirked. "The torch has been lit," he chuckled. "We are a bit more modern up here- we installed electricity to all the cabins mostly for the purposes of the pack staying her all by themselves-" he offered as an explanation. "Suppose they did just fine without them before- but lights can make a huge difference- and the kitchen they will have full access to as well," he shrugged, knowing that would definitely help them later on.

Damon Masterson

_____"Patrick," Damon repeated his adoptive son's name, a bit between 'get your butt over here,' 'don't sass me,' and 'i'm sorry,' which would sound confusing to anyone who didn't know him well. "Your mother will be fine- you know how she gets-" he dismissed the concern. He truthfully hadn't meant anything poor of Kayla, she was always number one to him- but he did want to do right by the daughter he claimed as his own. Damon smiled at his son as he inquired further about the job. It was definitely a special task- one not even Antonio could do- but he was raised different and would have never been successful.
_____"Anya Moon-" he started, not having a picture of her to give to Patrick, but knowing he would pick her out of the crowd quite quickly. Just like her mother she exuded confidence and strength in herself quite well- she was mouthy and stubborn... and if Patrick had been the son of Rox's Lover, she likely couldn't resist him. "She's the Alpha of the pack down at the camp- If you take this job- I want you to go down there tonight and find her, explain you got lost on the way up to camp and don't have a bunkmate," he whispered low. "A scout's job is to scope out the enemy- in this case, it's that pack- we need to know their numbers, their weaknesses and who to try and recruit for our own pack based on strengths," he went over, most details being common sense.
_____"While your scouting I need you to charm her, and tame her- get her to see that the city is no place for a pack... Her pack will turn on her once they realize her father is not the Alpha of their homeland, but me-" he said grimly. "Once she has nowhere to go ... you and her will run away together- here-" he said, pointing to the ground between the two brutes. "She won't be an easy target,"

Roman King

⫸ Werewolf ⫷⫸ Single ⫷⫸ Rank - Delta ⫷⫸ Tagged - Kirsa ⫷

He waited for the female to catch up and when she did, she asked him where they were headed. Roman felt like it would be easier to actually communicate with the she-wolf if they walked more. " I felt like it would be easier to talk if we just walk and talk. " Unsure of how to word exactly what he was doing. " I thought walking and talking would be easier than sitting in front of each other, being hostile. " he joked with her. In attempted to lighten the mood , but he probably made it more awkward with trying to explain himself to her.

Eris King

◊◈ Werewolf ◊◈ Single - Open ◊◈ Rank - Hunter ◊◈ Tagged - Declan ◊◈

Eris pulled the shirt closer to her nose, inhaling his scent once more. It was strong as if he wore the same cologne all his life, but at the same time so comforting as of now. She knew she couldn't get too close to him, it was only for the summer. The shirt dropped from her hands and resumed its position , crinkled up on the rim from her grip. His hand grabbing herself and bringing it to his lips. ' I see how bold you are., ' she thought to herself. For them not to speak much until today, there was this strange pull towards him. He was something she wanted in life, but couldn't figure out why. They had just met and all he's done was woo her with little words and action.

They made their way to the mess hall and Declan opened the door for her. "Thank you.," she graciously thanked him. Chivalry wasn't dead, to their generation, after all. She headed inside with him following so close behind her, making a joke about how their could be some humans up her. " I doubt it. They might see the dark and then all the werewolves are out to attack them all.," she laughed. Some of the kids in school still think that the actual werewolves they live with are like the ones from the movies. Where they change at night and hunt humans to kill. It tickled Eris and her family whenever someone would mention how terrified humans really are of werewolves.

Whilst standing in the mess hall she noticed that there wasn't a whole lot left over. Eris noticed another teen, on the other side of the room, making a plate of food. "Hungry are we ?," she asked the kid as she took a better look at whom she was looking at. She cleared her throat in effort to get the kid to look at her, but soon realized that it was her dear cousin Cylas and someone else standing not too far away from him. " Your dirty blonde gave you away Cy., " she teased as she too went to make herself a plate.

Eris turned back to Declan with her plate in hand. His free hand holding out to her, to give him her plate. " Someone's kissing up., " she rolled her eyes playfully and handed the plate to him. The girl walked towards the door, with him following behind her and opened the doors for him instead. She lead the young teen back to her cabin where they would be eating and probably talking for the next few hours. Not too long after leaving the mess hall, they arrived at Eris' small cottage. She opened the door and pushed it back for the both of them to walk through. When he finally stepped inside she closed the door, with her back leaning up against it. Her fingertips twiddled with the lock on the door, snapping it over to secure the cabin.

" You can have a see over there., " she told him as she pointed towards her bed area. Eris pushed herself off the door and walked over to the dresser area, grabbing a hair tie to pull her damp hair up into a loose ponytail. Her arms greeted her sides again as her eyes looked in the mirror. She was looking at herself in his shirt that reached nearly under her bum. Eris walked over to her bed and pulled herself up. " So, what do you want to talk about ?," she asked him as she grabbed the bag of chips she threw on her plate earlier.

Mildly bewildered, I looked away, thinking back to the last time I’d eaten fruit with a small frown on my face. I ate blueberries… yesterday morning. She couldn’t possibly smell that. Lightly, I replied, “…what fruit do I smell like, particularly?”
I nodded at her statement. “Well, there’s a pack of, what, two dozen or so werewolves around here? Something like it - they met up in this area. I assume we’ll see them around, it’d be hard not to.”
Watching the girl shift, the question of her name rose up again in my mind, and I ignored it, observing the differences in our forms. “Ummm…” Fruit, again? “There are probably blueberries in the forest…?” I paused, then added, “You’re going toward the greenhouses… through the cabin areas… with humans around… in your wolf form. Don’t recommend it.” Pausing at her question, I shrugged, one of my ears flicking outward as I took a deep breathe. I’ve revealed enough information today. “Like I said, I was going to go explore the forest. I didn’t know there was an opportunity to swim until…” I sniffed at the air. “… a few seconds ago.”

Zion tilted her head downward and looked up at him in a sharp but playful way. “Yeah, unless they get badly burnt,” she deadpanned, then grinned at him playfully, pleased with her own play on words and the truth behind them. Moments later she raised her hands up as she spoke with them, saying, “No, no, that’s good.” She smile lightly, adding, “It just means you’re interesting, and mindful enough to decide for yourself, rather than adhere to the ‘boy equals blue’ mentality. It’s a good thing.”
The girl nodded thoughtfully at his statement, and she smiled, a slightly shy expression on her face. “Well, I moved a lot, so… I had a lot of time to think about it… and to practice…”
Zion chuckled pleasantly as she imagined what his parents were like and replied, “Ah, your father is a wise one,” with a joking tone.
{{ooc: the place where I talked about summer and colours and talked about it for the second time, I meant to write fall. Oops haha}}
The blonde girl watched Basil’s movements as an arm disappeared under his bed, producing a folder, and the just-barely prevented shenanigans as it unfolded before receiving the book he had meant to give her. Running a hand carefully over the book’s cover she felt its texture, then opened the first page and let her fingertips run over the paper to do the same. Eyes widening slightly, she was silent as she took in the details of each piece, flipping each page slowly as she looked. The girl was lulled out of her amazed silence as, while she continued through the pieces, the boy across from her told her about Bexley - at the comment about colour being a weakness she looked up abruptly and leaned forward somewhat, staring at him intensely with her eyes still slightly widened. “Are you kidding? You’re amazing! These are amazing!” She turned the open book in his direction and gesturing at the pages as she emphasized and repeated the words, stressing each one with the intention of him getting the point. She turned the book back toward herself and stared at him with a slight frown momentarily, shaking her head as she turned her attention back to the pages. Poor guy has no idea how good he is. Snorting mentally, she added to her own thought process. He probably doesn’t even realize he’s attractive. What a concept. The girl physically shook her head a bit at the statement, continuing to flip through the pages until she came up with blanks. Closing the book gently, she handed it to him with a smile. “Thanks—“ She paused for a moment, then her smile turned to one filled with mischief. “Well, you will. I’ll be your model the next time you paint.”
Raising her eyebrows in surprise, Zion leaded backward onto her hands. “Really? Wow… we’ve got some restaurants to go to.” Laughing lightly, she added, “You need these things in your life.” Looking back at the pale boy she listened, humming a soft, “that’s nice,” as he described his mother’s cooking style and smiling slightly at his comment about his dad, mumbling a quiet, “Yes, I remember,” as he commented on his father’s blindness. Chuckling, the girl returned to her sitting position and clasped her hands together. “Of course, pizza is a classic,” she replied, and gave him a shrug. “You’re lucky then, because I’m pretty sure we’ll be making some pizza at some point this summer, so it’ll be even better, and more satisfying because we made it.”
Zion was surprised at his blurted-out answer, but as he finished, she snorted lightly. “That sounds like a newly-accumulated bitterness.” She tilted her head slightly, and asked in a softer tone, “Wanna talk about it?”
The girl chuckled, relating to his comment on no sleep. “I somehow end up staying awake until the ungodly hours of the morning, then waking up a little late.” She shrugged slightly. “I also love being up for the sunrises. Uncommon, but amazing if I manage. But the two combined… disaster. I end up a b”chy grump that swears at everything I lay my eyes on…” Zion laughed guiltily. “I really need to work on my language,” she commented dryly. Stretching her arms on either side of herself, she looked at Basil once more with a friendly smile. “Anything else you want to know about me?”

male ⤖ werewolf ⤖ reference ⤖ 16 ⤖ single ⤖ hunting ⤖ bunk 18 with Declan ⤖ tagged: Ezra & Falon

Very much at home in a coat of fur, Chester took off running at the sound of Anya’s hunting howl, gleefully feeling the forest-scented air coursing through his fur and filling up his lungs. It had been a while since he spent time in a forest. Eventually he slowed and stopped; inhaling deeply, the obscenely tall wolf took note of the details in the darkened forest, and searched for signs of prey nearby; he couldn’t possibly scare away the entire forest, could he? Chuckling mentally Chester looked around, and was interrupted by Ezra’s call for support… he sounded close by. Picking his steps carefully, the deep ginger wolf glided over the forest floor until he was just steps behind his adoptive brother. Using the mental-link, he part whispered, not wanting to potentially startle Ezra. “Hey man, whatcha find?” he questioned lightly.

Kirsa

Kirsa paused for just a moment, "Ah! That makes sense. I guess that's my fault, huh?"
She flicked her tail, "Well, sorry about that. It is easier to walk and talk than sit and talk."
She thought for a moment, "So where are we headed?" She piped up cheerily.
"It's so quiet out here, aside from the pack, obviously. It's so... weird."

Almi
"Yeah. The amount of attention some people need..."
She paused when he asked how well she got along with other people. There was... really no good way to answer this question without sounding like some sort of introverted weirdo.
"Uh... not really, I suppose. I don't talk to people all that much on my own. A lot of people think I'm ignoring them, I just really don't know what to say back. Then they think I'm rude and leave me alone." She awkwardly explained. That was the best way she could put it without going off on a tangent, "Heck, if it hadn't been such a rough day, we may not be talking right now." She added, running a hand through her hair.
She laughed a bit, "Big budget to put lights in over twenty cabins. Most summer camps I've heard use battery lamps. Light switches are sooo much better, though." Upon hearing the mention of a kitchen, she had to ask, "Waaait, the cabins have kitchens too? Or is there a canteen?"

Cloud

Cloud, not expecting the question, paused. "Hm? You want to known what you smell like?"
The Arctic wolf flicked a ear before licking her chops. She padded closer to him, sniffing him,
"Well, your fur smells like a tree. Like cedarwood. That's most familiar to me anyway," she sniffed closer towards his head, "but whenever you talk, your breath smells just faintly of blueberries. Makes me hungry." She chuckled.
"Well, I guess a bunch of werewolves at a school would pack together. I should be used to it by now." She hummed, "So it makes sense if we blunder into them. I didn't think of that."
Fruit again, indeed. Cloud loved fruit. So easy to eat and find.
Prancing lightly and merrily, she paused from her movement, "Ooooh, that makes sense. I didn't know they had greenhouses out here. I might spook them, so probably don't want to go there, like you said." She perused, tilting her head just slightly as she thought about it.
"We can still go explore. Swimming doesn't sound half bad, either."
