_____"Thanks Ezra," she smiled handing him a duffel bag as he stepped in to help. Once they handed out all of the bags, telling each packmate to meet out by the lake commons after they were settled in, Anya looked around to see who she may be rooming with. It was kind of a big decision. Anya loved Samatha, but she also knew she couldn't handle the loud music and unbalanced activity of her getting up and down all night. Anya considered asking Falon, but it looked like she was already pairing up with another girl in the pack- so naturally, she looked for another fae that might be open and without a roommate. Lucilla was her next choice, but she didn't know if she would try to room with her sister, Mariana... then there was the loner fae but she looked like someone who would kill her in her sleep, so the Durante girl was out.
_____"Who are you going to room with Ezra?" she asked, wondering if he had a strategy. The girl took a breath before picking up her own bag, it was a pretty sherbert orange with yellow straps and a hot pink ID tag for her name and address. Her brother's bags were much less girly of course as she handed his duffel over to him. "I was thinking about asking Luce," she shrugged, feeling like the two older girls would get along best. She hadn't spotted Eris yet or any of the pack mates, but they could be getting dropped off by parents or on the other bus. A few boys did catch her eye though, something she shouldn't even be thinking about. Her job was to lead the pack and keep the peace between them and the humans. But she couldn't help categorize them into boys she didn't know well, boys she wanted to know better and boys she didn't want to know at all.
_____"Wait-wait-wait," Anya called after Sam as he took his bag from Ezra. "Alec- don't forget, we have a meeting by the lake after you unpack- you too Sam!" she called over Alec's shoulder to reach his sister. Anya made sure to make eye contact with the girl so she felt included, and just as important. She was one of the younger ones but every pack member was important to her, especially Sam- she didn't much expect the fae to turn into her Beta, but she would probably be a hell of a fighter. Alec on the other hand... may just be competition for Alpha.

_____"Cortisol levels, RIGHT!" she replied seriously, licking her bottom lip before busting up laughing. Sam made a snapping sound with her teeth at the human who had been staring as if to tease or even taunt him, before Alec had pushed her to move on. Once they had been outside by the bags, she grabbed her bag and started to dart off before she realized she was far from her brother- and soon after she located him, Anya was speaking to her too. The girl nodded with a soft smile and stayed kind of shrunk behind her brother, before leaning up and whispering, "Why is she speaking to me?" as if Anya couldn't hear her. Without missing a beat, Sam peered over to where her brother had been pointing before shouting. "That's such a good idea! You're a genius," she cheered, scrambling after the redhead whilst almost knocking over her brother. "Sorry Alec!" she called, waving.
_____"AY-LA!!!" Sam dramatically called after her, her lavender bag with the aqua straps practically flying behind her as she ran with it around her shoulder. "Let's be bunk mates, yeah!?" she asked, nodding with excitement. "Let's pick the BIGGEST cabin!" she suggested, but sadly for her, all the cabins were the same size. Before the girl could reply, Sam turned to her brother and laughed. "Come on slow poke!" she chided him.

_____"Ew-" Falon laughed, pushing her brother playfully. "Don't say that! I am not mom," she laughed. Truthfully though, the girl admired her mother very much, and she was already missing her. Their mother still made their lunches, she still even tucked Falon in at night, their father too. The girl had never even been a night away from her parents so it was going to be interesting, to say the least for the young 14-year-old to navigate things without her parents. "No- I have no idea... I wanted to bunk with Eris... but I haven't' seen her yet... Maybe Roman can bunk with you? Or Ezra...? Or Mat's nice... I don't think he has a bunkmate yet- he's pretty funny. Oh,-or Basil! He will be a mess though I already know- Poor Aloe is going to have a time out here," she sighed. "Listen to me... I am mom," she grumbled, throwing her hands in the air. "Who do YOU want to bunk with?" she asked, instead of insisting.

_____The brute hugged his parent's goodbye, pushed his brother once more for good measure before speeding past his sister and off to find a bunkmate. Mateo? No... too much of a goody-goody, his brother certainly wouldn't be any more fun than him either... Daniel grabbed his bag from Anya and nodded- the girl was too good to be interested in for his liking. That Samantha however- she had a wild side he always considered exploring- but he knew Alec would skin him alive if he ever thought about it. His duffel over his shoulder, the brute looked around for someone who wouldn't be boring... but maybe he should just claim a cabin and see who winds up in his presence?
_____Hiking down the winding trail of cabins, Daniel took the last one on the row and began to unpack his things. Not only did he bring clothes, some bedding, and a few electronics- which weren't allowed- he also brought his stash of syllables. They were fake mostly- but the other teens didn't know that and who didn't believe a placebo every now and again? Daniel took the small case of fake and non-fake substances and slid them under his bed, neatly making his bed so his comforter covered the underneath of his bed. The brute plopped down on his bed, kicking his feet up on the bedpost as he waited for his destined roommate (OPEN) to waltz in.

_____Thankfully due to the No Child Left Behind Act, Kearan was able to make the trip that summer. He wasn't really excited about it, but he also couldn't turn down the free meals, a roof over his head or companionship. You see, Kearan was an orphan, a loner if you will, and he hid this fact from most of his peers. He was sleeping in the school's locker room until he was able to join the pack, and he only joined them so he could crash on the couch of the pack-house instead of the shower stalls in school. This summer would be good for him to learn skills that would stabilize his position in the pack and hopefully Kearan would be a homeless orphan no more.
_____As the bus came to an abrupt stop, Kearan looked up, only to the obnoxious yelling of their Alpha...he sure hoped she would simmer down over the summer, he wasn't sure he could handle that much energy. Getting up, the brute pushed his way to the front of the bus, before waiting to get his bag from her. He nodded as she told him of the meeting and began to look around for a roommate. Who would want to be around him? He didn't smell anymore, thanks to his access to regular showers with body wash and shampoo, but he was still the kid with no parents- he was considered 'troubled,' to the adults. Kearan looked around hoping to find a friendly face- one that wouldn't get him into too much trouble.

_____"As a pup sitter, you could always help the Adnet kid shift, I think that's part of the job description too," he shrugged. "You'll be great no matter what though," he reassured her. "Want me to carry those for you? I'm sure we can sniff out the garden for you to transplant them?" he smiled. The greenhouse was in plain sight, close to the lake but just in the right spot to get shade from the tall trees in the wooded forest. Basil squinted slightly as he had seen a wolf in the tree line... or at least, he thought he did. "Weird," he commented. "Did mom- or dad say anything about another pack to be aware of?" he asked. It wasn't like Basil to not listen while his parents spoke to him, but he felt like they would know about them, and warn the teens. "Maybe it's just a rogue..." he shrugged.
_____"I was going to ask Ezra, we get along well- both like reading. Seems like it would work," he laughed. "Hate to tell you, but your brother is lame..." he laughed. "Speaking of lame, I do have to tell you I am a bit concerned about you spending so much time with Mateo..." he said, slowing his pace. "Dad's not here, but if he were... he wouldn't like it," he admitted. "Because if he hurts you, you know I will have to hurt him too," he warned, a bit more serious than he intended. Basil was above all else protective of his little sister, he and the Ayala's always got along, and it wasn't Mateo, it was boys in general. "Let me walk you to your cabin, you can plant your sprouts tomorrow," he offered, not wanting her out by the greenhouse if the rogues would be stalking it.

_____Mateo didn't mind when Aloe had pressed herself against the bus window, he had loved that about her, as they shared the same excitement for the world they were still just barely getting to know. He would have liked to kiss Aloe again, they hadn't kissed since she kissed his cheek outside of the greenhouse during the first week of school. In fact, their whole relationship had been very tip-toe around the subject, Mateo was not even a shy kid, but with her, he definitely had been. The young brute was still excited to be at camp but he had lost a bit of spring in his step without her by his side.
_____Once off the bus, Mateo tried hard not to trip at the sudden change of ground. The bus was so hard, but the earth was fresh and it moved under his weight, he couldn't wait to feel it beneath his paws. Mat laughed as Mariana had been as eager as him to shift, he and his sister's legs often got more cramped than the others, being maned and all. "Thanks, Luce," Mateo smiled, taking his bag from his sister. "Not yet... I was going to ask Ezra, or maybe Cylas... I think they're both still without, how about you? You and Mariana going to bunk together?" he laughed, assuming it was a big no considering they already had lived together. It may be easier though. "Mariana?" he asked, curious on her opinion.
_____"A run..." he whispered, repeating his younger sister. It was just what they needed! "Yeah... let's go for a run... " he nodded, mischievously looking at their older sister who would certainly not approve. Running for teen werewolves was like drugs for junkies, once the idea struck, it wouldn't go until the itch was scratched. "PLEASE LUCE!" he nearly whined like a pup, "C'mon, lets put our bags away and just run... we will be less scary too... we don't even look like wolves!" he laughed, feeling more genius than ever.

_____Of course he wouldn't be caught dead on a school bus, his parents were hardly okay with him and his sister going away to a summer camp, but Declan was determined to learn more about what it was like to be in a pack, and if he fell face first, so be it, his parents would be happy to tell him they were right. The limo had pulled up alongside the school buses and soon the driver was out and around to let the Durante children out of the car. He also promptly had delivered their bags to each cabin they had been assigned with more 'savory,' of company as promised to their mother, so the kids were free to branch off and do as they please. "Bex-" Declan called after her, feeling a bit out of place.
_____The brute was a little out of his element, he was trained to be a merciless fighter, trained to kill, but never really understanding anything beyond that. Declan was a good big brother, but thanks to his parents he never learned the meaning of a friend, nor what it was like to depend on someone other than yourself. Declan also was severely uncomfortable in the khaki shorts he was wearing, and the black tee shirt. He was much more comfortable in much more fashionable clothing. "Bex- you ready for food," he asked, clapping his hand down on his arm.
Mosquito. Declan was going to have to get used to this. Part of him wondered if they should join up with the pack for the rank meeting- but he didn't want to push his sister if she wasn't up for the same thing. "Or there is that meeting..."

_____Evelyn was one of the first humans who had been off the bus, she managed to snag her duffel bag before her Ex-boyfriend, Austin could get ahold of it, or see her. Their breakup had ended rather poorly, it was her fault, she liked bad boys and Austin was just too good. One night while Evelyn was off with some boy from the East side of the city, Austin had run into her whilst rushing his sister to the Emergency room. It was awkward, to say the least, but Austin wound up going to the ER right alongside his baby sister, thanks the boy Evelyn was off with. They had gotten into a fight and the boy she was dating nearly killed him, and she never forgave herself.
_____Sunglasses on, Evelyn strode to the cabins, claiming an open one as quick as possible, not even bothering to realize the pack had all the cabins closer down by the lake. She didn't have an issue with werewolves, but they always had an issue with her. Eve worked hard to compete with them always, and while she could ALWAYS keep up with their human forms, never could she keep up with the wolves. She didn't want to be one either, she just liked knowing they couldn't beat her in the same form. Once she picked a cabin, the girl changed into her more comfortable for outside clothes, and headed to the mess hall for dinner.

_____Austin called out the names of the campers, alongside Luke, who was his co-counselor. Things seemed to be going smoothly, at least aside from a few name mess ups- but they were guaranteed to happen. "Alright everyone, if you don't have a bunkmate, come to Luke or I and we will assign you, someone who also does not have anyone to room with," he announced. "Once you're settled into your cabins, we are doing dinner in the mess hall, then campfire songs and s'mores by the main outdoor auditorium," he explained, handing out the last duffel bag. "Oh- and please let anyone know who has not claimed their bag, such as late arrivals, that they will be in my cabin and available after fireside," the young man added. It was his last year of camp, he really hoped it would go smoothly.

_____Tara had arrived the day prior to the other campers, since her brother, Austin, was a counselor, again. Tara was also helping out with assisting the camp, but by no means was a counselor. The girl was on critter duty- taking care of the horses and maintaining the best distance she could from all of the werewolves, as they were not allowed near the horses in their wolf form. When Tara was about 13 she had been attacked by a rogue who had broken out of the research facility that the Saechow's had opened just above their property. She was attacked by him, as the drugs he had been on had him in a frenzy. Luckily for her, the drugs that the Saechow's were working on had somehow depolarized his ability to change humans into their own kind, and she was just left with a nasty scar, a scar that was all too visible in the summer.
_____It was too hot out to wear anything but shorts, so Tara often tried to wear her cowgirl boots with her shorts or skirts to hide the reaching claw and fang tracks that traced from her heel to just below her knee. Tara had already picked her cabin and had assumed she would meet whom ever got stuck with her later. Hopefully it would be someone quiet and calm like her. Tara was quite shy and very much afraid of most things, but this summer she would have to get over that.

_____Sitting next to her paler half, Ketsiah glared over at an equally colorful girl a few seats ahead, she was nearly abusing her brother or boyfriend, whoever he was, as she jammed with her headphones on next to him. Ketsiah's Beats headphones, however, were filled with metal and some hard rock, old and new, nothing about being stuck on the bus with a bunch of mongrels. The humans were tolerable, as she was one... it would just be her goal to convert a few of them into knife-wielding wolf killers... not too difficult, or so she thought. As the bus stopped, Ketsiah nudged her twin sister, Cindra, who was 50 shades lighter than herself thanks to a fun thing called biracial fraternal dizygotic pregnancy. Her mother, as white as snow but nowhere near as innocent as her fairy tale counterpart, and her father, darker than the night. The pair of girls came out just the same.
_____It was hard for her, she was one of the only African American students in her entire school as it was, but she was also the only girl. Sure, it was 2018, but things were just different for her than her sister. She wanted to be kind and well-liked, she had always dreamed of being popular but people often steer clear of what they do not know or understand and Ketisah was just different. So, she lifted her chin and grew into the hard-bodied werewolf hunter she was born to be- she only needed her sister anyways. Cindra was the only one who really knew about her soft, fun side, because to others, it was just intimidation-nation and nothing more or less. Ketsiah knew no boy was going to want to date her, she knew no one would ever treat her like 'one of the girls,' so she would just have to be her, and that was good enough.
_____"Let's go," she smirked, not having a bag to grab as everything she needed was in her duffle bag. Pausing her music and sliding her headphones off of her head onto her neck, the Kemnebi twins made their way off the bus and grabbed waited for their things. "Bunkmates?" she asked as if it were a question, the twins were inseparable. Then again, separating off may increase their ground to get more hunters on the floor, but it wasn't something the girl was personally comfortable with.
_____"Keh-t-sigh-ah?" the confused camp counselor called out, he was cute but less cute not knowing how to pronounce her name.
_____"Close-" she called, waving her hand in the air. "Keht-see-ah, you can call my Ketsi though if it's too hard," she laughed, leaning into her sister as she took her bag. Throwing it over her shoulder, she stood back, oh-so-excited to hear her sister's name pronounced with a hard 'Ka,' sound, 'k-in-dra,' it was common, but maybe these weirdos would get it right. The girl's eyes fell on the other camp counselor passing out bags, his name tag read "Luke," and he was very handsome, but she couldn't be too concerned with boys, not while being surrounded by the enemy. Wolves.
