He was half expecting to be let go, and was already dreaming of the comfortable bed and vodka he could crack open and pour for himself. But Katerina had woken him and he stopped, turning his head when his wrist was grabbed. The alcohol would have to wait now, he turned back to face her and listened as she spoke.
It seems like she had reacted the same way he had. They both had family waiting for them back home and were both missing out on their lives. Family was very important between them
Katerina was more important to him
"I understand.." he answered softly, moving a giant hand to softly clutch her cheek, thumbing away the singular tear that had fallen before letting his hand gently rest on her shoulder.
"You feel these strange emotions. Is normal. I would feel strange if sister had gotten married, and other sister had died. But there is nothing you could have done."
He sat there and realized that didnt sound the way he wanted it too and he bit his lip while glancing down
"What I mean is.. well.. both brothers are happy. No matter where they are. They only wanted what was best for sister." He shrugged and smiled to her as his hand slid away to his side again
"Family is important. These emotions are normal.. but I am very sorry for loss and happy for marriage. If there is anything I can do just.. let me know. Yes?"

Katerina listened to him speak and didn't flinch when he touched her cheek. It had been comforting and she felt like she could trust Misha. Despite what he said though, she didn't feel any better. She only believed that she should have been there. She even missed the memorial, which made her feel even worse. Katerina nodded though while he spoke, wanting him to think that it was working. "Yes, thank you Misha, for everything." She looked up at him and after letting his wrist go, she wiped her eyes. Katerina's emotions were still a mess and she now had a pounding headache. "You're to kind. I don't know what I did to deserve to meet you."

He tilted his head a little and watched her, keeping his eyes on her as he spoke. For now he believed his words had gotten to her and he came to the conclusion that all was well
"You are welcome." he hummed in return to her, and listened to what else she had to say
He was left smiling, chuckling and nodding while lowering his head in embarrassment
"Thank you.. I do what is best for you."
He sighed and knew that at some point they would have to break off.. and he lifted his head a bit more to watch the woman
"Would you like coming back to my room for drinks or .. maybe I help back to your room?"
It was obvious he only wanted to spend more time with her in this trying period, and he moved forwards a little to put his hand on her back
"I can help.."

Katerina became a little tense after he touched her back but quickly calmed down. There’s no reason to worry. None at all. She tried to push away memories that came flooding back of her brothers and decided to focus all of her attention on Misha. To her, it was easier this way to deal with the pain. ”Drinks sound nice.” She faintly smiled with a bit of a sad look in her eyes. Katerina found it sweet that he was so worried about her well being since it meant that he cared. Not that she didn’t know that already though. He practically had been saying it since she got the letter. To her, Misha wasn’t scary in the slightest. He resembled a big teddy bear more than anything in her eyes.

He smiled and nodded while figuring that the date wouldn't be forgotten. He removed his hands from any part of her and gestured for her to follow. It was a silent walk on his end towards his room, but by the time he got there he was a nervous wreck. Something odd for this man to be. He didn't want to mess anything up and he opened his door for her to let her inside
"After you.." he hummed with a smile, letting her into the room before coming in and shutting the door behind him. The room was somewhat empty, save for the essentials like a bed, a great window and a place for him to store his clothes. He also had a bar ready and set up. Offering her to sit on the bed, he moved to make up some drinks
"Do you want anything specific?" he asked while looking over to her, pouring himself straight alcohol as he looked through what he had to offer

Katerina walked with Misha back to his dorm and walked inside. She noticed how the room was quite empty apart thought he had a bar set up. It was almost humorous to her and a small smile began to form. Katerina sat on the edge of the bed and watched intently as he began to make drinks. She was looking around his room until he asked her what she would like and her eyes fell upon him again. ”I’ll have whatever you’re having. I don’t mind what it is.” Katerina had her usual spark in her eyes begin to return after she compressed all of her feelings into the back of her mind. All that she was focused on was Misha, and to her, that was alright. Katerina could tell that the man was a bit nervous and found it adorable. Why he was so nervous, she had no idea. I’m not special or anything to be flustered over. I’m just me. ”No need to be nervous Misha.” She smiled at him warmly and crossed her legs.

Rayn watched Katerina walk off she was about to follow but saw Misha walking ahead of her and figured that she would be ok. Rayn walked back to her dorm she opened the door and walked inside before sitting on her bed and opening the letter

Dear Rayn,
Hi It's me Claire just checking in on you,hope that you are learning a bunch of really cool stuff. Everything is fine here mom and Ingrid are doing fine. I put a couple flowers from the meadows in with the letter since I know you loved picking them with us anyways please write back as soon as you can
love, Claire

Rayn smiled down at the letter glad to hear back from home she pulled out the flowers one was a violet and the other was a yellow flower that she couldn't remember the name of. She put both of the flowers in a small vase that she had brought from home before grabbing a book and reading.

He figured serving her a glass of neat alcohol wasn't so bad of an idea.. he nodded and pulled over her glass before pouring her some alcohol.
The drink he had was imported from Russia, the place he was from. It was just a little something he invested in every few weeks in order to remind himself of where he came from.
Eventually he took both tiny cups in his large hands and carried them to her, holding out one of them for the lady
She noticed he was nervous, his cheeks heated up a little more and he smiled weakly while lowering his head
"Forgive me.. I have.. never been like this before." he explained and sat on the bed beside her, his weight making the entire bed creak as if it were in pain. Though the large man did not notice this
"All that is going on inside head is all.. new to me. I am trying my best to do right thing." he chuckled with a smile and glanced to her, sipping at his drink slowly
