A heart warming, breaking, and skipping role play. In this RP you can be human, human without an over powering ability, or a half-breed. Examples; witch, elven, mermaid (has to be able to walk on land), kitsune, etc...
In this world, there is no electricity, candle light, wind, and water power only exist. What we know as fantasy creatures and freaks with powers are becoming a lot more common. All three are feuding over territories, secluding themselves to their own kind. This Citadel was built close to the center of where all three territory boarder meet. The Citadel has long been renowned as an excellent source of enhancing one's skills, talents, and abilities as it is the largest and most sacred grounds from a civilization who created it centuries ago. Whether their parent's highly encouraged them to go, or that they were willing to, they must all learn to tolerate one another.

Rules:

▪Post on Discussion Thread (the burning note image below)
▪Active players (A post every 5 days-A PM will be sent if this is not maintained)
▪A month without posting without a heads-up, results in being kicked from the RP
▪Can not have over powering abilities
▪No violence or sexual scenes
▪Romance and drama is fine (kisses, hugs, flirt, jealousy, etc...) (boyfriends/girlfriends/crushes/etc...)
▪Fade to black is fine
▪Flirting with your own characters is fine but creating a full-blown relationship is not
▪Have as many characters as you can handle (try to keep genders somewhat equal)
▪Can bring in another new character later if you want
▪3 sentences per character (writers block is acceptable but constant 2-3 sentences is a no)
▪Be kind and include anyone when you can, we don't want anyone feeling left out
▪Don't post here or in the RP that you're looking for someone to include you. Go ahead and interact with someone
▪If you choose a 2 bedroom dorm, new RP members can move in with you without your permission. You can switch to a 1 bedroom but not immediately if someone moved in with you. You can switch roommates as much as you want
▪Companions, if too big for the small sized dorm, must live in the stables
▪Love Notes, is a secret way to show admiration for another, and a means of communicating as there is no phones or computers. Have someone give the note or envelope, hide them for the person to find, or hand your note to the one you choose.

Citadel:
Is not a school, yes you live there, but you learn what you want to learn and when you want to! Includes a library, dining hall, large promenade in its heart.
Dorms:
They are located anywhere where windows are shown in several horizontal rows. All of the dorm buildings are 2-3 stories high and it is door after door. Quite a walk! Dorms consist of 1-2 bedrooms depending on what you choose.
Dining Hall
A place to eat food made by patrons who live in the Citadel. They cook what they gather or receive. They then create what they know or what they have learned while being at the Citadel. Sometimes it is good or sometimes it is bad. Use judgement when choosing what to eat!
Market:
There is not a currency within the Citadel so you must gather, make, and trade your items here. There's food, weapons, armor, jewelry, anything you can think of that is interesting or a necessity. Any items are acceptable to a trader if it is something they are interested in, that is. Example; A rock isn't going to get you much...
Stables:
A giant stone building built for creatures who are too large for the dorms. Through it's giant double doors is different habitats depending on your companion. Grass, desert, water landscapes. Another giant door leads outside to a very tall, thick, stone wall that is very vast in size. This is where your companion will receive exercise or where you can play. There is several toys and treats created by other residence available as well as food caught by residence who love to hunt for sport.
Gazeebo
A quiet and calming place close to the Citadel.
Secret Door
A place where secrets are kept and discoveries are made.
Stream:
A few hundred feet straight outside the Citadel is the fresh water stream. Follow is north, it leads to the Irradiance Waterfall. Follow it south, it leads to the Blue Lit Lake
Irradiance Waterfall:
Follow the stream north, beautiful colors can be seen from this waterfall. When it is winter it will freeze and often will shine as a faint rainbow.
Blue Lit Lake:
Follow the stream south, it takes longer to reach than the waterfall. It's uncertain why the water appears this color and so brilliantly on it's shores, but it is safe to swim.
Hidden Cavern:
Located on the opposite shore of the Blue Lit Lake, this very well hidden cavern is just above the surface of a cliff face. It is not safe to stay there during a full moon, as the water level rises at its highest and becomes too dark too see the way out.

" The sun was beginning to set. The white, snowy mountains turned red, and the dark hills turned darker; mists rose from the ravine, and the valley, where he supposed the Russian fort to be, seemed on fire with the sunset glow. Zhílin looked carefully. Something seemed to be quivering in the valley like smoke from a chimney, and he felt sure the Russian fortress was there. "
He was on chapter four of "The Prisoner of the Caucasus" by Leo Tolstoy. His eyebrows were raised in an inquiring manner while he read through the book. He had many written novels by Tolstoy, and knew many of them just by the title. He always wore the same face while reading as well, a curious and yet interested look that left others curious themselves to wonder about what he was reading. At the very moment he was sitting by a column in the promenade, every now and then his eyes would strain and he would have to look up and around at his surroundings. Something that would happen often, he'd get so involved in his stories, he'd just fall away from reality and would have to swim back.
A long sigh escaped the large man as he lifted his head and removed his glasses, slowly shutting his book on his bookmark and gazing around.
It had been a good year since he arrived at the Citadel, and it had been quite a ride. The first few months had been a wild ride full of discovery and friends. He made some friends, but none of them seemed to want to stick around with him.
It was fine, he knew he'd be able to find more friends if possible.
For now, he moved to stand, grumbling to himself as he tucked away his book and moved to meander around the promenade in search of someone to talk to or something to do

Jace - 20 - Male - Relationship: Open - Location: Citadel - Tags: Misha

In the shade of the Citadels promenade Jace was found leaning against the wall flipping his knife in the air and catching it with the same hand. He could not tolerate this weather during the day. The heat being too unbearable, the sun itself melting him, too hot to do anything... Then again, it's his own fault for wearing such heavy armor today. He could study up in the Library but then again he's been doing so for some time. Nothing much he's read has been new information to him and he doesn't just skip over the lines to something interesting, he reads through it all. His magical studies haven't even shown when he tries... It frustrates him and just thinking about it at that moment made him take a breath. He turned his head to the right and saw a giant of a man himself stand and appear to be walking in his direction. He never spoke to Misha before. Only ever heard of him and seen glimpses of him here and there.
Jace stuck his dagger away in it's sheath and straightened himself off against the wall. He wondered if he was going somewhere or if he was looking to find something to do, as he was.

He sighed and figured that his comfortable, shirt and long pants weather would soon bear too much for the large man. Hailing from the more colder regions of the area, he was used to being out in a long sleeve and slippers. Though now that he had moved to the Citadel in order to expand his knowledge of the arts, he was busied with trying to figure out how warm it would be that day. Normally it was a guess, and the guess seemed to turn out wrong almost seventy percent of the time. When it was cool, he'd wear his shorts and sleeveless shirt. Vice versa.
His eyes lifted as he exhaled deeply and spotted the hunter he had seen around on many occasions. Perhaps the man he knew little of, could give him some sort of word?
He came over and crossed his arms over his beefy chest, before like the smaller man, sitting in the shade
Earlier, the man had spotted the blade the hunter had been flipping around, and decided to bring it up.
"Dragon's tooth." he grunted gently while tilting his head and keeping his blue eyes stuck on the other.
"Could see from a mile away. Impressive craftsmanship. You forge blade yourself?"
Misha himself was in part there to learn more about the art of blacksmiths and how one could make a living off of making weapons. He loved knowing how things worked, and learning about putting one and two together to make three.
"I have not made anything as close to your work."
He figured in time, he'd be able to make something worth while. For now, it was just petty butter knives and spoons. He was a big man with enough muscle to make seventy spoons without tiring.

As Misha approached Jace he could now actually see his true size. It's one thing to see a scrawny tall guy but having been heavily built, he's definately not one to contend with. Jace had a tendency to think about his odds with an apponent as it became a habit after being on the run, you start to not trust anyone. But while at the Citadel, he's felt calm enough to cool that habit a tad bit.
Misha started asking about his blade, if he had forged it, and that Misha himself couldn't do handiwork quite like it.
Jace smiled, he always will take a compliment. "Yes, the blade is dragon. One of my companions teeth came out on his prey one time, pretty sizeable, so I took it and carved it. The rest, kinda sloppy, but thank you."
He shuffled his weight one leg to the other, still feeling the heat, "As for your skill, i'll have to see it sometime. You don't commonly find anyone who's dwelved into the kind of work. Can't be that bad, what have you made?"

He lifted his chin a little and noted how the other man was watching him, and he huffed softly before getting into a little more comfortable position against the column nearby. What was interesting was that this man knew of the animal the tooth had come from.
An eyebrow raised as he slowly nodded and hummed
"You know of dragon? Would like to meet some time. Have never met dragon before." he exhaled while tilting his head. He had heard of dragons, but in this place full of people it was possible to find anything.
Though not, everything.
"I make spoons, knives.. things used to eat with." he explained while shrugging it off like it was no big deal. Someday, he knew once he had the ability and the knowledge, he'd be able to move up onto larger weapons for those who passed through the citadel or anywhere perhaps.
"Skill is new to me, I will learn and be better with time."
The big man breathed in and moved forwards a little, holding his hand out for the male he had been talking to. This, he didn't even know his name. Time to meet new friends, he supposed.
"I am Misha.. I do not think I have seen you around." he introduced himself simply, and when the time was right, took the other's hand and shook stiffly, strongly but was polite and gentle in a way

"Yeah, my companion is a dragon his name is Kuri. He'd take too much room in the Stables so he keeps around the outside of the Citadel. He's 6 currently but his growth has peaked finally." Jace nodded when he had said he can only make cooking utensils. "Hey, a knife is a knife, you've already took a big step in the right direction."
When misha offered him a hand, he grabbed it back. Misha's hand shake was firm which he kinda figured would be, but guessing that was as gentle he could make it. "My name is Jace, Jace Asher. And during these months, I won't be seen much but i'm around. Nice to meet you." He smiled.
"Now, as for my dragon, if you would want to meet him sometime I can arrange that. Due for a hunting trip soon if you want to come?"

Ginny stretched out across the soft grass in the sunlight that streamed down onto her. Originally she was under the gazebo but she couldn't resist the warmth the sun offered so she was right next to the gazebo. A book was open in the grass in front of her as she held a writing utensil in her right hand. Ginny was making ideas for her current story she was writing so she was putting them down in the book. Ginny's green eyes stared at the page blankly before looking around at the nature around her, giving her eyes a break. She thought being surrounded by green and the sunlight would be inspiring but it wasn't as much as she would have thought. A soft sigh escaped her lips as she put down the utensil and sat up in the grass to stretch and take a break. Her hands reached up and tossed her long hair behind her shoulders since it was starting to get on her way again.

Jaces eyes glanced past Misha momentarily and he could see a girl on the outskirts of the Citadel, next to the Gazeebo. She looked to be busy drawing? Reading? He couldn't tell with how far she was. Today it seems not many people are about and mostly to see her lasting in the direct sun, surprised him. Maybe he's just not equipped for the new weather yet... Then again he's been through worse conditions. "I shouldn't be complaining." He thought to himself looking down to the side. He glimpsed back at her and she was on her feet. She had tossed her hair back and she was glimsping around. He put his hand up, a little above shoulder height, and gave a wave.
