Jordan looked at her phone as it buzzed, her brother was texting her. Really we haven't talking in months and know he texts, what could this be about? Jordan said reading the text

Hey sis, what up? Heard mom sent you to Kirwells. How's it going there, what's school like with all the other kids like you? Made any friends? What's class like? Also I'm sorry I haven't reached out to you lately thinks have just been.... well dramatic and difficult but I didn't forget about you!

Jordan finished reading the text and laughed slightly. She read the text again, he hadn't contacted her in months and now he comes back like nothing ever happened, and asking all these questions.

Uh yeah mom did. It's fine but it's on ly my first day and we don't have any like, real classes so I guess it's going fine. Yeah it's different being surrounded by kids with powers and I did meet someone with the same powers as me so, yeah.

Jordan finished typing and sent it. She put her phone in her pocket and stood up. She grabbed her keys and walked out the dorm door locking it behind her. Jordan decided to take a walk maybe explore a little. The halls were congested with talking teens and people seeking help to find their dorms. She continued walking down the hallway and into another the hallway coated with dorms she walked down just to see how many people, there were if it was, possible for her to count.

Braiden hums quietly and decides to get up, leaving his stuff in his dorm room. He hums to himself when he steps outside the room and closes the door behind him, Making sure it was locked. After a few minutes of walking he makes his was through the school and goes outside, to which he decides to shift into his calico cat form and sunbathe on the warm pavement. He makes a purr once he rolls onto his back and lays in the sun.

Jordan continued walking, she didn't bother to try and count all the dorms but just looked at each number as she passes by. She soon finished walking up and down the halls and decided to get the drink of water she forgot about. She walked towards the audataruim, there was a drinking fountain near it and got a drink. The cool liquid was refreshing. She walked towards the front door and looked out a window near it momentarily then turned around to lean against the wall checking her phone. No response. She rolled her eyes at the empty screen and slowly walked forward then stopped as her phone buzzed.

Gotta find someone, gotta find someone, gotta fi-oh. And there he goes stumbling back over his own too feet, embarrassed blush high on his cheeks. "Uh-um, no it's okay?" Cue a sputtered and rather awkwardly squeaky response as he gained his footing, only managing to look mildly startled. And, oh, she's quite small, not like, too small or anything, no, but fairly short, as he himself, so of course it must be hard to see where he is and where she is and oh boy.
Dorms? Yes, dorms, of course, that's what he was looking for, and apparently they have the same goal in mind. Great. Maybe they can work together to find them. And breathe.
"I mean, I was looking for them too? So maybe we could find someone or try and figure out our way there?"
The whole ordeal was a lot less frightening with another person in the same situation, so logically Kiwi thought teaming up would suffice. As such, he offered what he hoped to be a reassuring smile and gestured to where students seemed to be filtering out the doors of the main building, a raise of his brow to ask the girl if she wished to head that way.

Jordan read the text from her brother. She put the phone back inside her pocket and looked back out the window. She something flicker out of sight but decided not to pursue it. Jordan began down the hallway, she stuck her hand in her pockets and looked at the ground but then back up as she walked down a nearly empty hallway. There were two figures one of a male and a female obviously much shorter then the boy. She looked up and walked towards them. She as planning on finishing her self guided tour and then going back to her dorm.

Steams of texts sent his phone off every couple minutes as his family blew him up about finally coming to the school. Fingers numb as he ignored the jeering texts from his step brother or the 'are you sure this is a good idea?' texts from his friends and more distant family, he stopped and paused with a smile as a 'I'm so proud of you' message from his mother showed up. It was of course at this moment that a rush of kids going by bumped into him and sent his phone tumbling from his hand only to land face down on the hall floor. A quick 'Sorry!' from one of the kids tagging near the back was all he got as they rushed away,
"Hello first day.." A heavy sigh escaped him as he bent down to pick up cell only to find the screen half shattered, in a small burst of annoyance his phone was instantly covered in a thin layer of frost which he quickly shook off before shoving it in his jean pockets. Giving up on walking the halls to calm his nerves he settled for standing by a window, watching the faces of the happy students of the school walking in and out and realizing just how lonely he felt all the sudden. 'I don't know anyone here...' He found himself unconsciously freezing over the ledge he was leaning on, small intricate trails of frost climbed up his jacket sleeve as he let his mind wander.

Jordan's phone buzzed agin, she took it of her pocket to read the text it was from her brother again. She texted him back a simple ok not even reading the new message. She looked to realise she was heading the wrong direction and should be going down the other hallway. Jordan turned around shuffling her phone back into her pocket. As she passed the main corridor a very tall figure stood by the window, his jacket arm lined with ice. Jordan took a step closer wondering if she saw what she thought she was seeing. Jordan stared at the figure for a moment before her phone buzzed again, she reached for it, to put it on silent hoping the person didn't hear it. Jordan was now completely annoyed, her brother always sent like 20 texts when he could fit the little writing into 3 or 4 messages.

A loud buzz drew his attention away from the window. He almost thought it was his phone going off again, though part of him knew that was slightly impossible given it's current condition, his grey-blue eyes met those of a girl who stood still several yards away from him but seemed to be starring. Noticing her eyes locked on his jacket the feeling of ice became noticeable to him and he quickly brushed it off in hasty embarrassment,
"Oh hi there...The ice thing just kinda happens without me noticing." Giving a small nervous laugh he cut himself off from talking before he could make more of a fool of himself.

"Uh,yeah I get it. Same here."Jordan mumbled looking away, she turned off her phone and shoved it in her pocket trying to avoid his gaze. Jordan looked up slightly.
"Elemental?"Jordan asked not trying to pry. Jordan had heard of elemental's before and thought it was quiet a cool power and seeing the ice she wondered if he was one. She studied the figure he was tall and had pure white hair. He looked around Jordan's age so she figured he was there the year before. Jordan glanced at the now melting ice that he had shook to the ground then back up.

"It's nothing to special but yah, Elemental. I was hoping coming here would help me further my powers, I really don't know more than a few parlor tricks.",'Unless I get in more trouble and push myself further', Lifting the palm of his hand up he conjured a small spinning snowflake to show off a little before it disappeared several seconds later.
Looking at her he couldn't really gauge her power outwardly like someone could his and found the guts to ask,
"What about you? Got anything cool up your sleeves?"
