MYRTLE JIN

Myrtle leaped to his feet in excitement at the man's offer, but a sudden rush of dizziness overcame him. He hadn't eaten sugar for far too long. Fortunately his sister had approached in moose form, so he backed up and leaned against one of her thick legs.
"We'd love to stay here!" He exclaimed, looking around with a big smile on his face. "This is a beautiful camp. Did you guys build it yourself? You're so cool."

MAGNOLIA JIN

Magnolia approached, standing at a respectful distance in her moose form. She allowed her little brother to lean against her legs. Although Magnolia had been walking for countless miles with Myrtle on her back, she was a moose and he was a hummingbird. Hooved animals had incredible endurance. Tiny birds needed food quickly or they would die.
Once Myrtle seemed able to stand on his own (he was blurting out excited comments again), Magnolia shifted back into her human form. She removed the ropes for the makeshift saddle, including her poorly carved wooden spear secured with a double knot, and walked closer- making sure to hold the spear in a nonthreatening position.
"My name is Magnolia Jin, and my brother here is Myrtle." The tall woman spoke, a small smile on her face. "We were experiments One and Two. It is nice to meet another like ourselves."
She held out her free hand for the man to shake.
"If there is any task you need done, just give the word."

Cindy had run as fast as she could finally happy to put the 'complex' behind her. The only problem she had injured her arm in the progress. She took a tumble and tried to break her fall with her hands. Her right wrist took the majority of the blow not that she could feel it. She just had to get to a source of water then she would be free. The water was the one escape. She had from the craziness of what her life had been. It was how she stayed grounded after all these years. A smile crossed her face seeing a stream quickly raced to its edge. Once she shifted, she would be free since there was no way she could be traced in the water. She waited for the shifting to happen as she closed her eyes. Nothing happened besides a sharp pain in her wrist. She hissed softly. Oh well, at least she was out of a place he had put in the back of her mind. She traveled along the water hoping to find some shelter at least until her wrist was better.
