Hadley ran after Duke, running short on breath. The bloodhound was fast, and didn't seem to need to stop, untill he reached the doors of a building, and began working quietly. Hadley finnaly caught up, and grabbed his lead quickly. she sent over with her hands on her knees as she struggled to catch her breath. After finnaly having air fill her lungs, she looked up at the building. It's sign had fallen, but from the looks of it, this was a supermarket. She gripped the pole in her hand tight, but ended up setting it down to pry open the automatic doors. After they opened enough for her to fit, she grabbed her pole and walking inside. she held duke tight, even though he was struggling to go to the back of the store.

Vanessa looked at him. "I'm just happy to be with you again. So...do you think you remember where I live, because I know where you live?" She asked, raising her eyebrow. Cocoa barked, seeing that she hugged him. Cocoa then jumped onto Dean licking him, slobber getting everywhere. "Cocoa!"

Dean blinked and pushed Coco down "Uh I have a general idea but I'm not really sure... sorry" he said rubbing the back of his neck awkwardly "But uh if you know where I am you could gather your things and you and Coco could come stay there"

Vanessa felt excited. "Ok, ya before dark. Got it." She then got into her truck, Cocoa following her into the passenger seat. "See you in a bit." She said to Dean, trying to act calm. She then drove away trying to hurry.

Dean got in his truck and drove home and began to unpack everything and then went to take care of his animals and brought animals from surrounding farms to his land

As soon as Vanessa got home, she began packing all of her stuff into her truck. She then put all of the food/water, and necessities she needed in the truck. When she was done, she walked outside looking at her house. 'This has been my home from the beginning. Now its just going to be a plain old home. I will never forget it, as long as I live.' She thought. "C'mon Cocoa, we have to get to Dean's house before dark." When Vanessa said Dean's name, Cocoa wagged his tail. She smiled, then went into the truck, Cocoa following sitting on her lap. When it was just getting dark, Vanessa and Cocoa arrived at Dean's house. They then got out of the truck, knocking on Dean's door.
