I pulled out of the driveway and followed her directions, we soon got to her place, it looked like it would tumble down if the wind blew on it wrong, I can't believe this poor girl had lived in this awful place. I hopped out of the car, Hadley quickly followed me, we left the dogs in the car and headed to the building. After entering the building I turned and looked at Hadley "Go ahead and grab everything you need, I can help as well, then we can head back to the house and combine our supplies." I look at her and smile.

After entering after Rene, Hadley started to gather her clothes. she tried shoving them quickly in her bag, slightly embarrassed. The place had her clothes strung everywhere. even her undergarments and bras were laying out. While they were all over her floor, it wasn't because she didn't pick them up. it was because since she didn't own a washing machine, she'd rinse them out and lay them out to dry. This didn't really work, considering half of them had smell of Duke, mildew from nor drying correctly, or still had the smell of her sweat when she ran out of soap. Hadley gathered them as quickly as possible just hoping Rene wouldn't notice the scents, but they were blinding almost. Once done, she moved on. Hadley drug a large tubberware box our from under her bed, which was full of hand soaps and hand sanitizers. While most were only half full, she collected them just in case she needed them. She fit as much as she could in her bag. "Well," She said standing up fully. "That is really all i-" she cut herself off quickly with a gasp. "I need to find Duchess!!" she yelped, and began throwing things around, Trying to find this so called 'Duchess'

Vanessa looked down, sighing. "What's there to talk about?" She asked blinking back tears. Cocoa laid his head on her head comforting her. The swing gently rocking as the breeze went by, her hair swaying in the breeze.

Vanessa looked into his eyes. "It's just that I really miss my...my....family..." She said as she finally let her tears come. She then got up to leave. "Im sorry we should get back to work...It was stupid anyway." She said as she wiped her tears away, and headed towards the door.

Hadley rushed around and put everything in her bag, her clothing went in first then she pulled out a box full of hand sanitizers, she had put about half in her bag and zipped it closed. She stood and her eyes widened "I need to find Dutchess." She yells, then she started throwing things around looking for this so-called 'Dutchess' I stepped back and let her find whatever the Dutchess is. While she was doing that I filled my bag with the rest of her hand sanitizers, you never know when you need it. She continued to scurry around her place tearing things off the floor and off walls. "What is the Dutchess?" I ask cautiously, this was not the time for people to go insane.

Hadley dug around, not noticing Rene grabbing the rest of the sanitizer, and barely even making out the woman's words. it took her a minute in her panic induced mind to fumble the words together for an answer. "Duchess is..." She paused her words, shoving over an old town up recliner to search beneath it. "She's a stuffed puppy.." She paused once more, searching beneath her cardboard make-shift coffee table. "my mom bought it for me, but we..." pause. "Gave it to Duke." pause. "because he missed his littermates and mom." She finally made her way over to her dirty bed, and dug through the covers and pillows, before holding up an old stuffed puppy. one button eye missing and patches of stained fur, but it was clear it had been washed many times. it had a bit of slobber from Duke carrying it around. Hadley sighed in relief. "Duke won't sleep without her. he just cries all night. it's like a sister to him."
