Jay seemed to enjoy his response greatly as a light and cheeky grin met her face. She glanced over to his room and hummed in thought. At least he knew where his was, she was rather forgetful at times. Turning back to Lee as he seemed to encourage her in doing the deed which they had made a joke out of, she chuckled and took a step on the tile. Nothing happened. Like she had thought or at least that she wasn't aware of. "Oh no," she said dramatically, "I'm sure that caused a lovely and well thought out five year curse about my family." Jay stepped off the tile and made a shrugging gesture. "That'd be great to prank the new people at school; telling them about that." Jay said with a light tone.

He nodded in polite understanding as the girl said she was new here. "Is that so? Well, that's not a problem, you get used to the place after a while." Archie made a slight waving gesture with his hand towards the building behind her. Silence followed his statement for a few moments before the girl spoke again. Anarchy grinned. "Name's Anarchy, nice to meet you Koa. I'm a cook here." He could tell that this girl was definitely not used to this. In this setting with all these people. "There's an initiation in the entry hall if you want to be there for it; most kids are but the others who were already there are probably in their dorms. I'd recommend that, it gets you settled in."

Rolling her eyes, Echo walked into the hall. Looking around for anyone to sit next to, She sat next to a guy with brown hair. Her eyes pleaded with him for a second. “Please make having Henry around less awkward.” She laughed. “It’s fine, this happens all the time.” Henry said.

Collin nodded. It was true. The outside world was an extremely dangerous place, especially to the kids. Willowtree provides a sense of security not many other places had. Collin scooted closer to Elias and, lowering his voice, said: “So, do you think there’ll be any additions to the pack?” He said so jokingly. It was a long running gag between the two. He chuckled lightly, but still looked to Elias for his answer.

lyndon sighed and said nothing, instead allowing jay's apology to get swallowed up by the air. he shut the door behind him, a motion shy of slamming, before walking away, down the mostly empty hallway, hands stuff into the pockets of his jeans. wow, what an emotional rollercoaster those last ten minutes had been. anyways.. initiation. where was that again? lyndon poked around, looking for someone who might be able to help him. maybe he could talk to a teacher or two about the forms he needed to file.

Riza’s gaze was pulled up at the click of the door and the sound of someone’s voice. She looked over at the kid, who seemed to be quite a bit smaller than her. Then again, that wasn’t uncommon, considering she was pretty tall. She couldn’t resist a grin at the sight of the flower crown. She could respect an appreciation for flowers. She could feel his aura, similar to fear but diluted quite a bit. Nervousness, or anxiety maybe? He was probably just shy. Nevertheless, he didn’t seem like a bad kid, so she dipped her head in a small bow that was customary to her home planet’s way of greeting people and gave him a lopsided but genuine smile. ”Riza. It’s nice to meet you.”

Maggie rummaged through her papers, every student's medical records were supposed to be put into the computer last night but she was missing a few. It didn't take her long to find and enter them into the system, break time. She walked out of the infirmary and headed towards the teacher's lounge, it was the first day of school, though anyone can get hurt at any time so she needed to hurry back. She heard talking around the corner and slowed down to check who it was, ahh, students. Getting sidetracked she listened in on their conversation, and a great idea popped into her mind. With a wave of her hand a willowy figure dressed in white appeared behind the students, when one of them jumped she snickered and snuck across the hallway into the teacher's longue to get her morning coffee. The figure dispersed, leaving no trace behind it, it appeared to be nothing more than a simple mind-trick.

Lesley watched Jay step on the tile and merely hop off a few seconds later, with a disappointed look on his face he tapped the tile once or twice before stomping on it. Shrugging off his disappointment he smirked, "I've got a 10 year curse coming my way. They'll probably steal all my donuts." He responded, pointing down at the tile and mimicking a Southern American(basically cowboy) accent, "Honey, that thing is dangerous." Before he could say anything else he felt a soft gust of wind on his neck, and turned around only to get the scare of his life. He was already jumpy enough, and with something like that behind him right after he stepped on that tile he jumped so high he almost hit the ceiling. He blinked once or twice and it disappeared, "That was crazy, did you see that? I'm surely cursed now!"

Robyn wished she could be in the forest surrounding the school, where it was unlikely she'd have to interact with anyone. But since she was a first year, she was required to go to the welcome assembly. She nervously fidgeted with the sleeves of her sweater while walking quickly, so as to avoid talking to anyone. Her luck didn't hold out long. She tripped over someone's feet, and went sprawling towards the cold floor. Luckily, she managed to turn into a bird before she hit the ground, and flapped in the air a few seconds before quickly changing back to her human self. She turned around and quickly said, "I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to run into you."

"Nice to meet you too." I chirped, I was at least partially glad she didn't offer to shake me. well they might be a she I though. I walked to the other bed and set some of my stuff down stretching, then it hit me. they're really pretty- ask their pronouns just ask that gives you a good first impression- they're pretty dont scare them off- breath, Alex, breath. just ask. "Hey, sorry to be rude but i was just wondering what your preferred pronouns were?" I asked rubbing the back of my neck with my hand.

She laughed a little at Lesley's words, staring down at the tile. It certainly was weird, but probably not cursed. Jay liked to think she was more smart than she let on, so this was all but a huge deal. Her train of thought was snapped once Lee jumped—quite literally, his head almost hit the ceiling—and spoke to her. Jay blinked and stared at what he was staring at. She couldn't see anything, but her skin felt cold wih no explanation. She offered a nervous smile. "Ah, no, but I do feel cold. Maybe I shouldn't have touched it," she let out a hum then turned to face him again. "You good? You jumped pretty high."
