Vanessa was scared, she wanted to crawl into a dark black hole never to be seen again. 'That was way to close...I-I have to move. I just can't let anyone know my power...' She then began packing everything into her survival pack. She then dug, getting all of the money she stole out of the hole. She put it in her survival pack, hiding all of the evidence of ever living there. She shifted into an eagle, flying to a tree. She then shifted back into her human form, she then began crying.

Elaina sighed and walked slowly down the street, checking her phone for any messages from her mother, even though she knew there'd be none. She'd left home in a fit after her mother yet again insinuated that Elaina's powers were unnatural. She had ignored it until now, because her mother didn't know any better and actually had a reason to believe so. But just the other day, Elaina had used her powers to stop her little brother from falling out a window. Surely that proved she was wrong, and that Elaina had these powers for a reason? But no, her mother still believed that her powers were the product of the devil...

Jo ran down to the street. Usually, she wouldn't come down here unless she absolutely had to go get something. And if she were to move outside, it would to the Outside. She liked the real forests much more than the generated ones they had in the city, where they were told they were real, but she obviously knew better. Pulling out her phone, she went to go check to see if she had anything new from her Internet friends, because who need real people friends, right? As she was walking, she ran straight into someone, embarrassment taking over her.
"I'm so sorry!" She exclaimed, her face a new shade of pink from the combination of cold and embarrassment.

Vanessa cried in the tree for what seemed like hours. She hated herself, and was especially scared that the girl would find her. She jumped off the tree, shifting into a cat. She walked around the city, and saw the same girl. She walked over watching the scene fold out before her. Vanessa was waiting for the perfect moment to attack the girl, or at least get rid of her. 'She's seen way to much I have to get rid of her.' She thought darkly.

Suddenly, someone slammed into Elaina. She stumbled back, and her phone flew out of her hands. "I'm so sorry!" a girl exclaimed, flushing bright pink. "Oh, it's fine. . . do you see my phone?" she asked as she looked around.

Vanessa took the chance and ran to the phone. She put it in her mouth, shifting into an eagle flying away with the phone. 'That was great!' She laughed, flying away from them.

Elaina looked up just in time to see a bird (maybe an eagle?) flying away, with what looked like her phone in its beak. "Am I crazy, or did that bird just steal my phone?!" Elaina asked incredulously. "What is going on?"

Vanessa flew to the nearest building, which happened to be the apartment building. She flew to the top away from everyone. She then turned back into her human form, smiling to herself. 'Those foolish girls! They never saw it coming! That was a good days work!' She thought happy, smirking.

"Oh, uh.." Jo looked around for the girl's phone, safely tucking hers into her pocket. Jo's head shot up at the girl's remark. Could it be the girl from the roof? Looking up, she an eagle flying away from them. Maybe it was coincidence, but you rarely saw eagles in a big city like this. It had to be. "I'm afraid it did." Jo frowned. "I can get you a new one, if you'd like.."

Vanessa looked down and saw the girl staring over at her. 'She probably realizes it's me! I have to attack her! Or she might tell people, and I will get tested on!' Vanessa put the phone into her survival pack. She shifted into an eagle, and flew above. Vanessa began circling them unsure of what to do next. 'I guess I will just have to wait until she's alone...' She smirked.
