Had she just asked that? Was she curious too? Jo was taken aback by Carmen's question, but she had expected her to ask something of that sort once their interaction begun. The minute it started, she knew something was off but couldn't help feel a connection to the strange girl. "Of course. But I also believe in paranormal activity and ghosts and people call me crazy for it." She shrugged her shoulders, hoping she hadn't given too much away. But she hadn't mentioned herself, so what could she have given away?

Vanessa felt bad about taking the money. Even though she needed it more than the people who worked there. She hated using her powers for bad uses, even if it was for a good cause. Her stomach growled, she then began looking at the food she had left, there were only crumbs left. 'Looks like I need to get some food in my stomach.' She then went to a different store, when she arrived at the store she bought canned foods, and put them in her survival pack. Once she got out of the store she sprinted, to her dumpster. As soon as she got to the dumpster she built a fire and cooked some of her beans that she got. Hoping that nobody would see the smoke.

Vanessa tried to fall asleep, failing. Vanessa looked at a random apartment building, deciding she would go onto it. Then she grabbed her survival kit, and put her fire out. She turned into a pigeon, flying to the top of the building. She then turned into her human form, sitting on the edge of the building, looking up at the stars.

Jo looked around, awaiting an answer from Carmen. Wait. Had she really just seen..? "Hey, sorry to cut you off. I'll be right back." Jo looked at the girl now sitting on the ledge of the apartment building. She most definitely hadn't been there before. Taking a spot next to her, she looked at her. "Hey. What brings you up here?"

Vanessa jumped, and looked over at the girl frowning. She grabbed her knife pointing it at the girl. "GET AWAY FROM ME!!" She yelled. She then jumped off the building, turning into an eagle flying away. ''That was a close one. Hopefully that girl will forget about me...'She thought scared that the girl would try and get her.

Jo lunged back, getting away from the knife. The girl jumped off the side of the building quickly. Jo ran to the side of the building, praying she really hadn't just done that. But what she'd seen earlier. Looking up, she saw just in time the girl before she switched forms into an eagle, flying away. So, she really wasn't going crazy. The sudden realization hit her. She wasn't the only one.

Vanessa looked back, at the girl. 'Oh my god...She saw me transform...' Vanessa flew to her dumpster. Hoping that the girl would not follow her. Once she got to the dumpster, she then went in rocking to comfort herself.
