Arriving at the palace, he loudly announced his arrival to the doormen and presented them with a chocolate fudge treat. Glancing around, he wasn't exactly surprised to see the foyer to be empty and moved as swiftly as he could up the stairs and to his room. Safely inside his room with the candy and treats, he proceeded to stash the hard candy neatly into a metal lockbox with his name engraved into the top. Placing the box down on his desk made of both metal and wood, he sighed softly when his eyes darted to the thick old book he was suppose to finish reading today. Maybe he'll stay up tonight, eat candy, and try to read the book.
Ollie then went to go wash up for dinner that he already knew he was going to be a little late for. Just the thought of food awaiting him made him move quickly. Whistling softly to himself, he looked up at himself in the mirror. "Your one dashing dude Ollie" he smirked to himself, chuckling softly at his childish behavior. With that he grabbed a basket and left his room, leaving the other basket in his room for he didn't know how his family would feel if he brought so many desserts to dinner. As he entered the dining hall, he pushed opened the door himself and announced his presence as he always did, "My dear family, Oliver has arrived! No need to fret on my..being...late" His voice started of strong and loud but became low and confused once he realized only Hawthrone and uh, prisoner girl was at the table. He wasn't surprised to see that her parents weren't at the table for usually they could be attending to more important matters or simply resting. Though it was surprising not to see Soren and Basil. He pouted playfully, "Here I go through the effort of being peace offerings and no one arrives to dinner" he huffed then smiled wide as took his place at the table and placed the basket in the middle of the table right in front of him, for easy access to sweets of course.
