▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀ Cora turned her head to hide her smirk as Alistair chastised Roxy for her impulsiveness. She remembers her days as a fledgling, and how awful they were. Cora had no control over her instincts as a young vampire, and it was quite a challenge for her to finally gain the upper hand on what she had become. As Roxy mentioned breakfast, Cora shook her head. "I just ate as well," she said, standing from her seat. Cora thought for a moment, then looked at Alistair. "I may go scout out the competition," she said, referring to the werewolves that had deemed themselves the protectors of this town. It would benefit the vampires to know exactly what they were up against. Plus, she had also become quite adept at stalking her next meal, so spying on the werewolf pack shouldn't be much different as long as she accounted for their enhanced senses. She nodded a farewell to the residents in the home before exiting the tiny cabin that served as their refuge. The forest was a welcome sight, especially for a reclusive vampire such as Cora. With a deep breath, she began to plan out her little mission. She would start in the town. After all, if a werewolf is likely to be separated from the pack, it would be for a trip to town. With her destination set, Cora set off through the trees at an inhuman speed. The figures zipped past her in a blur as the morning air fanned across her face. Of all the perks that came with being a vampire, the speed had to be one of her favorites. It offered a great rush of adrenaline that didn't end with a dead human. It didn't take long for Cora to reach the outskirts of town. As she slowed to a normal walking pace, she tilted her head in confusion as a familiar scent hit her nose. Cora continued into town until she saw the distant figure of Gwenevieve. Why is she out here all alone? Cora wondered as she approached her fellow vampire. "Hello Gwen," she said softly as she approached, "what brings you to town this morning?"
