At the look of distaste, he pulled a piece off peppermint out of his pocket and offered it to him. It wa one of the few 'human' things he kept. He had started eating them in the army and never really stopped. "It'll kill the taste of the herbs at least." He nodded. "Just be careful, yeah?" He knew that Brahn wouldn't be himself for a bit and was worried about his friend.
Triko had finished with his patients and was heading back towards town when he caught the scent of blood. With a heavy sigh, he followed it and realized that it was heading right for the keep. He ducked inside and followed the blood trail right to William and Jessica. "It seems you can not stay out of trouble." He said as he shook his head an walked over.
Brahn snorted lightly at the offer of the peppermint. Any other day, he might have taken them but today, he wasn't in the mood for them. Even with the aftertaste of the herbs on the back of his tongue. He nod his head lightly at Novak's question and started walking away, heading towards the keep. He picked up that Will had indeed taken the pet to the keep and for that he was glad that there was one less thing to worry about. He also picked up Triko's scent, Will's blood and...what was this? A child? Brahn frowned lightly before he decided to leave the matter to Triko. He followed the path of blood left by Will and soon found the metal trap. He knelt down and he grabbed the chain that attached to the metal trap and with a soft snarl and a mighty jerk, snapped the chain just a few links from the metal stake that it was attached too. "Dishonorable hunting." He mumbled before he began heading towards town, stopping at the bush where he hid his shoes to put them on before heading to town. Once in town, he found a garbage bin and he threw the trap inside. He turned and looked back up at the mountain with a slight glare. The small trap was meant to catch rabbits but he did not like traps for he saw traps as dishonor hunting. He looked back towards the town and he watched the townspeople for a few minutes before he started walking around. Perhaps he could find the one that set up the trap. He grumbled and mumbled under his breath as he walked until he picked up on a scent. It smelled similar to the boy. His head lifted up and he turned his head in the direction of the scent until his eyes spotted the source. A male, working on an old building and this male had a scent that no wolf could miss. This male was a werewolf. Brahn walked towards the construction site and stopped a few feet before the site, his eyes studying the male intently as he did but did not say a word.
