Character Physical Description: appearance-wise, cricket is pretty average. his build is rather standard - neither aggressively athletic nor bone-snapping thin, as he spends more time reading than working out. he has short, feathery, dark copper locks cut to his nape, and tanned skin dotted with freckles. his face is pleasant to look at, but ultimately forgettable. cricket's eyes are a deep brown, a colour typically mistaken for black as it's near impossible to tell where iris ends and pupil begins. his nails are talon-like and gray in hue. probably the most noticeable of cricket's features would be his ebony wings. cricket's wings stretch about sixteen feet in total length, and drag at his feet when he walks.

"Well, I... I always... have this feeling. I want bad things to happen. Like I want there to be a tornado. I legit get disappointed when I don't have to go in the basement or when I come up from the basement. And then there's my thoughts. I don't... no one else seems to think the same way I do. It's like my brain is wired differently than everyone else's. I get weird thoughts. I always think about jumping off a bridge or killing myself. I find pleasure in that, but I know that I'd never do it. The term for this feeling is l'appel du vide. It literally translates to "the call of the void."

tipping his head back, cricket shielded his gaze as he stared up at the building before him. honestly, he was a little unimpressed. his mother had told him about the place, but she had made it sound larger than life ..and cricket couldn't see that. oh well, he was here now, and he likely had to sign-in somewhere. he picked up his suitcase and headed inside in search for the check-in.

Which quickly backfired when he smelled the bathrooms.
