Toni
She paused for a moment, letting Jax mess with Miriks hair, and she almost immediately regretted it. Of course Mirik was even more stunning with his hair not in his face, a few stray pieces framing his elegant bone structure instead of hiding it.
"It's um...practical." She commented weakly, feeling her face flush before she suddenly acted very interested in the clouds in the sky. It wasn't until Mirik had gotten a bit ahead of them that she could look straight ahead again and continue pushing Jax.
"Why are you like this?" Toni asked Jax under her breath, looking absolutely miserable.

Agness
Agness grinned delightedly as the cat jumped up on her shoulders, and she pet it with a look of absolute adoration on her face.
"Well if it doesn't I think it ought to have name." She said thoughtfully. Nick smiled up at her, amused, but didn't say anything. He never talked to her much more than he had to, as to why she was't sure since she knew that he acted differently with others, but she didn't let it bother her.
"Nick, how did you know those people from earlier?" She asked curiously. Her brother frowned and looked out into the woods.
"Don't worry about it Agness, in fact, the less you think about what happened, the better." Nick replied. Agness frowned and turned her attention back to the inky black cat as she thought about a name for it. A little giggle escaped her and she looked back at Nick.
"How about we call it Dusk? Get it? Because it looks like nighttime and we're 'Dawn'? Dawn's and Dusk." Agness said cheerily, clearly enjoying what she thought was a clever little joke. She was surprised that Nick didn't even crack a smile, instead he maybe even looked a little sick.

Jax
"Aw come on T you have to admit it's a bit funny." He snickered to himself as Mirik kept up the quick paces in front of them,
"Gotta find some way to have fun while wheelchair bound for the moment, " With a whisper he added, "His hair is super soft by the way." He prepared to dodge any hit Toni sent his way in case he hit any of her 'I like the General' nerves.

Neo
Half materializing from the dark he watched the suck look grow on Nick's face and wondered what was wrong. He gave the area a once over with his eyes and the crows but nothing stuck out to him for the moment. Dusk still happily played around Agnes batting lightly at her hair.

Toni
Toni groaned and rolled her her eyes, but wasn't able to completely suppress the smile that played at her lips.
"I could poison you, you know. And I bet I could get away with it too." She teased back. While her feelings for the general were both confusing and embarrassing, she did enjoy Jax's company even when he was tormenting her.
"Look at that, you've scared him away. That's quite the feat you know, sending our fearless leader running." Toni said quietly with a little smirk as she watched Mirik ahead of them.

Agness
"We should go." Nick said stiffly, but Agness found herself not wanting to. To begin with, Nick looked a little worse for wear and she felt guilty that he had to carry her all the way back home. And maybe it was a little bit about wanting to play with the cat some more.
"Let's rest just a little longer." She insisted. Nick didn't look happy about it, but he remained where he was without saying anything. It was strange how quickly his mood changed sometimes, and right now he looked more like their rigid and stoic father than himself. She wasn't sure what has caused the sudden change, but certainly something had upset him.

Jax
"With my rep. People probably would think I did it myself." Jax held back a laugh again as Mirik finally slowed his pace giving a glance back at them, or more of a glare towards himself.
You're still evil, even if it looks good." Mirik muttered face still red as he kept his gaze on the ground.
"I could of done much worse, you could wake up with a braid next time." His response earned him a large Eye roll from his leader but also a chuckle.

Neo
Wanting a better view of the area he sent the crow back out only to see movement a little ways off from them coming from Styx. Maybe another group looking for Nick and the girl. Sinking back into the dark he left the little scene and scouted out what was coming in front of them only to be left with a sick feeling as he recognized the familiar figure with long dark brown hair and near black eyes. His unease transfered over onto Dusk who stopped playing and began to hide behind Agness looking out in the direction it's summoner had gone to.

Toni
"I didn't know you had such a fixation on hair, Jax." Toni said with a laugh, still amused by the little tangent he was going on. She glanced at Mirik, his face still flushed, and quickly glanced away, her heart fluttering.
"You should open your own salon." She mused, focusing her attention on Jax once again.

Nick
He was growing more irritable, a strange paranoia sinking in the longer they stayed in one place. It had been harmless, but Agness mentioning their last name had left him on edge. If any elementals had heard her, there would be a slight chance that they might make some connection to them and their father, something he thought would not be in their favor.
"What's wrong Dusk?" He heard Agness ask, sounding concern. Nick's gaze quickly snapped to the cat and to the direction that it stared intently in.
"Hello? Is anybody there?" Nick called out, getting up and walking a little ways in that direction. He subtly drew a small handgun from a pocket in his belt, trying to be nonchalant enough so that Agness might not notice and get frightened.

Neo
Nick's shout echoing from behind him made the groups attention become alert, and at the wrong time as his eyes met with the women who'd cased him with dogs just the night before. Uttering a quite colorful curse under his breath he turned and booked it back the way he'd came trying to throw them off by staying visible and then disappearing but before he could do that he ran into something hard and found himself once again fallen on top of Nick. His fear out won his embarrassment as he tried to quickly move again but a hand wrapped harshly around his hair and yanked himself backwards. Rachel was upon him with a smirk more soliders followed moments later gun barrels trained on him.
Rachyl
"How's that wound of yours? Still fresh I hope?" Throwing him to the ground once more she sank her heel into his shoulder where her knife had been lodged last night, his yelp and strong but shaky grasp around her ankle made her chuckle,
"Look at that a two for one deal. To think we just came out here looking for the Dawn children and got a surprise along with it." It had taken awhile to find anything remotely sedative wise around the base besides medicine so instead she had gone with the second best option of tranquilizer darts, taking advantage of the opportunity she drew one of the dangerous looking things from her belt and sank it in the side of Neo's neck.
She only released her foot off him when his eyes dropped their look of fear to one of pure confusion before settling into a daze, his head drooping to the side taking in a blurry image of the little girl and the cat who had somehow still stayed summoned.

Jax
"Interesting idea, but also me with scissors around people not a good idea. Cooking seemed to be the only thing I had a steady hand in for a long time." Entertained by the thought he hadn't even noticed they had come to a stop in front of Mirik & Neo's home.
"Guess I'll be seeing you to later." Mirik said with a small smile, the relief on his face to finally be home and able to rest all to clear.
"Just you wait I'm gonna help whip up the best dinner with whatever Toni has laying around!" The thought of actually cooking for friend type setting in a actual house instead of his bakery felt odd but he had to admit he was looking forward to it, especially if it meant he now got to bug someone on a daily basis.

Nick
Everything had seemed to happen so quickly Nick could barely process what was going on. Once he yelled he heard other voices and suddenly footsteps running towards him. For a second he thought he saw Neo, but in the next moment her was gone. It wasn't until the other boy had slammed into him, knocking them both to the ground, that he was able to make him out again.
"Neo?" He said quizzically, stunned by his blue eye for a moment before he was suddenly jerked backwards. Nick jumped up and stared at the scene around him in shock, grimacing as he watched Rachyl hurt Neo and feeling sick to his stomach knowing that inadvertently it was his fault that this was happening.
"Nick?" Agness choked from behind him. Nick turned around to see his sister clinging to the black cat, tears streaming down her face as she looked at the scene before her with fear and horror.
"What the hell is wrong with you? You're scaring her!" Nick yelled, stomping up to face Rachyl. His guilt over Neo's capture and his failure to shield his sister from the ugliness of the situation pushed him over the edge.

Toni
She smiled affectionately at Jax before looking back up at Mirik.
"See you soon, Sir. Rest well." She said. Parting from him was made easier by the idea that she would see him later, but she never liked leaving him. She waited until he got inside before she started pushing Jax towards her own place, which wasn't to far from there.
"I was thinking you could have to room downstairs looking into the garden. I think it's supposed to be a study of some sort, but I think it will work best since you won't be climbing the stairs anytime soon." Toni said playfully, contemplating what she could set up for him to help him feel more at home.

Rachyl
"Scaring her? This is just how the real world is." She sounded spiteful but was trying to hide the fact that should felt bad for acting out so harshly in from of Agness.
The excitement of the moment got her carried away like always. She snapped her figured and one of the soliders came over to bing Neo's hands and feet together before his limp form was slung over there shoulders
"You're sure he won't wake up right ma'am?" Rachyl gave me man a nod,
"The dose I gave that thing was supposed to be meant for a horse, so yes for several hours he should be docile. Take him to Mr.Dawn he spoke of what would happen with his containment." She waved him away before addressing another of her group,
" You, make sure these to actually make it home this time, wouldn't want the Boss to start worrying again." she gave Nick a smirk before turning to follow after her men.

Dusk was scared, with its summoner out cold it should of been gone by now but instead it was hear trying to headbutt the tears from the girls face, rubbing fluffy cheeks against hers. With a glance behind it noticed something shiny at Nick's feet. Not wanting to leave the girl it meowed a couple times after the evil women had left trying to get the boys attention to pick up the thing. Hoping it was the texty thing Neo liked to use a lot.

Mirik
A glance around the house told him he needed to clean but shrugging off the task for now he headed upstairs with heavy feet. He showered before heading to the relief of his bed, struggling to get his hair out of the weird knot Jax had created. He chuckled at the figure in the mirror who now had half fluffy hair before realizing how much dried dirt and blood had gathered up across his skin.
"How did I not scare that little girl.." He talked allowed surprising himself before going to shower and then bed.
He looked down at his phone, silent for once, before turning it off for the first time in forever. Falling on top of the blankets he found himself out in minutes.

Jax
As the main excitement from the day began to ramp down he noticed his soreness beginning to return to him, mainly in his bad leg. He pushed it away trying to focus on the more positive things happening at the moment.
"I don't know why I'm surprised you garden, I wouldn't expect someone as tough as you to want to care for something delicate like plants." Maybe with a garden he could try to test out his own element but of course he didn't want to wreck anything Toni already had so maybe after he learned a bit.

Nick
His jaw clenched as he watched helplessly while they carried the heavily drugged Neo off. He glared at Rachel, but know it was better if he said nothing. Dusk's manic meows caught his attention and he noticed what the animal was looking at. Something shiney glinted from between the disheveled leaves on the ground and Nick looked around to make sure none of Rachyls soldiers were watching him before bending down to pick it up. He slipped the device, a cellphone, in his pocket quickly before walking back to Agness to carry her the rest of the way home.
"Come on Agness." He said softly, wiping some tears from her face.


Toni
"It's practical to have a garden." Toni said with a shrug. She'd never really thought about it, but she supposed she didn't really seem like the nurturing type in anyway. Gardening certainly hadn't come naturally to her, but through trial and error and reading the old books that had been left in the house by its previous occupant she had managed to have a thriving variety of plants.
"It put's less stress on our outside resources the wore self sustaining we are. I was actually going to try to learn how to make preserves for when winter comes." She said. Her home was now coming into sight, and old but charming place that she couldn't help but be fond of.

[Caster_HD]

Jax
"In my rare moments where I feel like I can control my powers I've made dead gardens spring back to life full of food and flowers. But everytime I would try after things would just Shively up and die within seconds, or be to brittle to live very long." He made a Daisy sprout In the Crack of a sidewalk ahead only to have it die to quickly like he'd said.
"Some times people say it's cause I hate my powers is the reason they just don't work right. How can I love something when all its caused is humiliation for me." His voice has a slight sad tone to it that he quickly got rid of when they stopped in front of an old beautiful house.
"Hey thanks again for taking me in, doubt I could last much longer in the infirmary with that nurse coddling anyone and everyone that walked through the door."

Rachyl
Glancing back she made sure Nick and Agness were actually following them before focusing her attention ahead on her captive. Her joy of the moment was still there but something tried to lurk beneath the surface, remorse maybe? Passed out as he was the teen who had killed many of their kind looked no more different then they did. She shook her head clearing the dumb thoughts. He could also be their key to winning the war if played right.
