The male looked over when Ryan answered the door. He was holding his wife in a comforting way as she 'cried'. "Hello sir. We're looking for our daughter Serendipity. She's been missing for almost a year now and we're worried. Have you seen her by any chance?" His voice was shaky as he spoke.

He looked at the two and held a finger up "Hold on" He closed the door and walked into the bedroom "They say that they are your parents, I wanted to ask you before I let them in" He spoke quietly, he would tell them no if she didn't want them in.

She smiled and nodded "Nice, I live about forty feet from my family's graves" She didn't mean to say it like that, he could think that she killed her own family, some people jump to conclusions.

Serene sat up when Ryan came in. She frowned at his words and looked down before sighing and looking back up at him with a tiny smile. "Okay. You can let them in." She did her best to push her fear aside and pray that they had changed and actually wanted to love her this time. She stood up and brushed her bangs out of her face while smiling weakly up at Ryan.

He nodded. He walked to the door and smiled, he opened it "Hi, she is here yes, would you like to talk to her?" He saw her frown before she smiled, he didn't know everything but he didn't want to take chances. He would be with her the entire time. He wouldn't let her be hurt more.
