─── BLAKE────────────────────────
    [ alpha from North ] [ 27 years ] [ on edge, prepared ] [ there's a girl.. ] [ tags - northern pack]
    The forest was eerily quite, despite the few canines walking through the undergrowth. Blake's large paws strode across the ground. Despite the size, he was as silent as the rest of the pack. It was dusk, the contrast of the trees and the sky becoming very distinct during the time before the sun would fully set for the evening. Within the next hour, when the skies were darkened, the alpha's onyx pelt would allow him to sink into the shadows. Just in case this meeting went in the wrong direction, he knew he was able to defend his pack, the color of his fur only providing help. The various possibilities and outcome of this upcoming interaction played in his mind in preparation. The alpha knew his pack. They were strong, no matter the numbers, and could likely take on anything the wolves of the South dared to throw at them. He knew this was a night of peace between the packs, considering they were becoming one, but he had to think ahead. If the South even tempted any kind of attack, they would be sadly mistaken on the outcome of a fight. Not many people underestimated Blake, those who did always thought twice afterwards.
    The pack was his main concern for the evening, though a particular wolf resided in a close second. His eyes cast over his broad shoulder, settling on Tatum for a few moments just to be sure the female was still where she was supposed to be. The girl had a terrible habit of running off and doing her own little activities. It always seemed to be at the worst of times, too. Like when they were going to go merge with one of the largest rivals. He wouldn't doubt she'd be off at the creek chasing butterflies or something. Thankfully, she was safely tucked between the wolves of the pack, directly behind the alpha. Blake's eyes returned to their destination. He figured now was a good time to sent a mind link to the pack. Best behaviors, all of you. The last thing we need is a war because somebody growled at the wrong time, he said. The opposing alpha was that of the female gender. He knew they could be... temperamental about particular actions. His luck would be that one of his wolves disagreed politely and the Southern pack takes it offensively. There would be none of that tonight.
    The clearing we're meeting at is just over this hill. Eyes, ears, nose, open. There was no problem with being cautious. His pack was small. Both packs needed this merger to go smoothly. That didn't mean they wouldn't try anything. Blake lead the way over the hill, stopping at the top to scan the clearing before making his way into it. There he halted and looked over at his pack, making sure every wolf was accounted for. Emotionless eyes went back towards the south, waiting expectantly for their company to arrive.

The crunching of twigs and leaves were a constant, the constant breaking underneath the heavey weight of those who walked upon them. Winds moved throughout the air toward them, only in a small breeze. It was silent in the forest, almost eerie. The only sounds that filled the air besides the crunching was the light breathing. Maybe not of many, but they were strong. A group of canines known as wolves marched with each other through the growing darkness. Their pelts blended into one another's, moving as one unit. Barely anything could tell them apart; their determination and mindset were all the same. There dark pelts only morphed into white at the head of the pack; with her emerald eyes blazing. She was a strong leader, despite being young. Her intelligence and skills made her the prime choice to lead the pack that she's grown to love. Katrina was already on edge, meeting the other pack under the cover of the darkness. Of course they have met before, but the fact that it was arranged during nightfall kept the female on her toes. Yet no matter what would happen, she would defend her pack with her life. Blake, the North's alpha was larger than her, but she could make him run for his money. There isn't a guarantee that she would win a fight against him but she sure would hurt him enough.
"Keep up your guard and give nothing away," Her voice finally spoke up as their jog slowed to a walk. Wolves of the north's scent had already reached her nose, seeing as they were thankfully down wind. "Don't growl or show aggression until it's on my order, this isn't going to be a blood bath, Katrina growled for emphasis, not turning around to look at her other members. The hill that the two packs were meeting at was illuminated by the low light of the sunset and the rising of the moon. It was quite a beautiful sight, despite the anxiety that flowed through the woman. She raised her tail as a signal to slow down and wait at the bottom of the hill. Her emerald gaze scanned each one of them over with shockingly soft eyes, being proud at what her pack has become. Sure they were merging with the north, but they were her family no matter what. She gave a quick nod to her beta before slowly padding up the hill. It wasn't much of a walk, nor was the hill very tall. The packs left below could even see one another as well as their alphas.

Awaiting for her at the top was the ebony wolf who's she's only had a few conversations with. He didn't seem like he was much of a bad guy, but he was of the male species. Quite known to be hot headed and impulsive. But the fae's facial expression remained calm, despite how on edge the girl was. "Good evening Blake," a greeting emerged from her lips in a steady tone while standing in front of the male alpha. He was larger than her, but male wolves were always larger than the female. Katrina's head tilted up slightly to look at him, her tail stuck out behind her. She wasn't showing dominance or aggression, but instead her firm disposition and that she wasn't a force to be reckoned with. The common alpha stripe was prominent down her back, barely lit by the moonlike that shined down on the pair and reflected off of the eyes of the surrounding. To their left/right side lays the cabins of the groups new homes. And in all honesty, things may not go well with the merging of the two packs. The different ranks would be living in the same space with one another; but thankfully, the alpha's kept a house to themselves. Blake and Katrina had already discussed this, meeting a few nights before hand as well as planning this months ago. They were both civil and responsible; seeing as it was a good idea at the time. "I introduce to you the pack of the south," Katrina spoke evenly, flicks her tail as a gesture for her wolves so make their way up the hill for introductions.

[1] A Great Scent & Suspicious Wolves...

Postby Raynie_Taco » Thu Apr 20, 2017 3:18 pm

Caine Micah Bayer
{ North Origins Beta / Single / Tagged: Blake & Katrina (Both Packs) }

      xxxxxThe dusky pinks of the darkening sky reminded Caine of some better days. Days where the prosperous land was enough to support his pack so they could live and thrive. How did things get so bad? This day would weigh heavily in the hearts of everyone. It was the day they had to bow their heads with the other pack and become a single unit. How was this going to work? Their hatred was deep rooted in their history and that wouldn't be healed very easily. There were also things about each other that would certainly cause issues with the other wolves. It worried him to some degree but at the same time, he would do anything for his pack members. If any of the other wolves got out of line or tried to harm the alpha, he wouldn't hesitate to free his vicious temper. He trotted beside his alpha but kept his distance so the other wolf could clearly lead. Though he wasn't as black as Blake, his own fur was a dark enough color to match the darkness that begun to spread around them. He kept his head and body close to the ground in a guarded stance as they moved. His alpha may appear calm, but Caine wouldn't give off the same impression. He was following the orders of his leader in joining the other pack but that didn't mean he had to like it. He didn't want to give the others the impression that they were going to control him by any means. The deep voice of Blake ran clear in his mind as he addressed his pack. Best behaviors, he thought as he rolled his eyes and shook his massive head. Yeah, he would be on his best behavior as long as they didn't pull anything stupid. His muscles tensed when the clearing came into sight. The command was finished as he was told to keep his eyes and ears open. He jerked his head from the left and right. He didn't relax at all, even when they made their appearance.

      xxxxxIt was the alpha who stood out amongst the crowd of wolves on the other side of the clearing. Caine stepped with his alpha but his eyes never left the she-wolf. His eyes took in her looks while her scent took over his nose. She was smaller than the both of them but she presented herself in a strong manner that made up it. Her fur was a mixture of warm brown and black against a contrasting white. Her eyes were bright and on alert and resembled glistening rock emerald. Her scent, a light rose with a hint of sweet strawberry, had him intrigued. He tilted his head to see his alpha's reaction but his own mind was reeling. What did he expect? A bulky male beast? She was an enemy of sorts, he tried to remind herself. Her husky, soprano voice entered his mind and seemed both alien and soothing. She addressed Blake and introduced her pack behind her with a gesture of her tail. His mouth watered and it became hard to focus on what was happening. He focused his eyes on Blake for his reply. He liked confident women, it was a weakness. Still, he wouldn't forget his loyalty over a pretty face. He narrowed his eyes and gave a little huff at the woman. He remained quiet and waited for his alpha to address her. See, his best behavior.

Janora Elaine Blake
{ South Origins Warrior / Single / Tagged: Blake & Katrina (Both Packs) }

      xxxxxJanora was feeling anxious, to say the least. She showed that with her bouncy stride and overly alert posture. She didn't trust that other pack at all. Furthermore, she wasn't about to let some big headed alpha male enter their lives and tell them what to do. She would rather die- but she wouldn't go down without a fight. She would take someone's limb or two. A huff escaped her as she kept herself closer to the back of the pack. She wouldn't let their backs go unguarded. She kind of hoped they would come for a fight. Hunting was slim nowadays and what is a warrior without something to fight. Her eyes scanned behind them as the word's of Katrina echoed in her mind. She wasn't about to let her guard down now, that was for sure. But when the command to show no aggression was issued, she couldn't help but speak up. Come on, Kat. It is no fun unless there is a little aggression. Her tone implied much more to her statement and she followed it up by a small snicker. It was an immediate reaction to sober up once they entered the clearing. For the most part, she wasn't a serious person. This was a special occasion. At the introduction, she lifted her head her so slightly but returned into a tense stance. The beta at the large black wolf's side didn't seem like he was going to relax either. If it weren't for the warning her alpha gave, she would have antagonized him for sure. She wanted him to snap- she was praying she could put that beta in his place.

Wind blew threw the trees, and over the pack wolves from the south to the north instead of the other way around. The weather was always quite unusual, switching its 'decision' every few minutes. Thankfully there wasn't any rain or some sort of storm going on. That would make things much more complicated. Instead, it blew through the alpha's fur toward the males and their other pack members. Katrina remained standing tall as her other pack mates filled in behind her, despite not being many, they were strong together. She looked back to make sure they were all behind her before looking back forward. Her eyes shifted from Blake the alpha to another large brute beside him. Though he appeared to already be scanning up the fae with a conflicted look in his eyes. His intentions were unclear, though it could be taken in different ways.
"Goodevening to you as well," Her voice slightly softer, flashing the north's beta a friendly smile. The wolf had a feeling he had been checking her out, though she can't be for certain. He could have just been seeing what he was up against. Her emerald gaze scanned the midnight pelted brute in front of her, judging from his size and how close he appeared to be next to the other male, he would have one of two roles. The other was highly unlikely.

" I take it you're the Beta, it's a pleasure to meet you," Katrina's voice returned to is professional tone, giving a small dip of the head out of respect. Her posture remained tall and stoic, like any alpha would, but to be in touch with her femininity, the female's hips turned out into view to be standing in front of her pack in roughly a protective way. Her inner mother as some might say; others might say it's just her paranoid and untrusting personality. Both fit either way. Her eyes looked back into the male's eyes who she assumed to be the Beta before turning her head back toward Blake. "I appericiate the calm reactions from your pack members, it's quite reassuring that this will work." The wolf didn't smile, didn't even add the friendliness to her voice that would be expected. Instead it was a nod and a slight look to her other members, one that was only shared between them. Just a common look and a flick of a tail to relax their stiff bodies. Katrina wasn't ready to trust the north wolves, but if they were to attack, it wouldn't have been done by now.

[2] Tension Run High

Postby Raynie_Taco » Sun Apr 23, 2017 7:29 am

Caine Micah Bayer
{ North Origins Beta / Single / Tagged: Blake & Katrina (Both Packs) }

      xxxxxThe alpha was taking him time sizing up the situation between the pack. The quiet that settled momentarily between them would serve as some sort of intimidation tactic for sure. But the silence didn't last long. The moment it was broken by the alpha's voice, Caine could feel the hairs on his back stand up. He moved his eyes almost reluctantly back to the woman whose eyes all but glowed against the dark of the forest. She addressed him this time which surprised him, to say the least. He didn't expect her full attention to be him and it was like electricity running through his body. He lowered his head though he wasn't sure if it was out of respect or preparation to fight or run. He tilted his head and attempted to appear relaxed as his mind reeled. He cleared his throat and gave a glance to his alpha before speaking. He didn't want to get snapped at by Blake in front of this new pack. It would look fairly weak of him. He turned back to the she-wolf when Blake made no outward signs of objection to him speaking. "The name is Caine," he spoke quickly as he licked his chops. She turned her attention to back Blake and the disappointment that followed had him reeling. Why should he care? To hide the fact, he took a more aggressive stance. He growled out to the other beta, "we may be calm now but that can easily change." He leaned back on his haunches and exposed his glistening white teeth.

Janora Elaine Blake
{ South Origins Warrior / Single / Tagged: Blake & Katrina (Both Packs) }

      xxxxxJanora was on guard but didn't make herself really known amongst the pack. She hung back until the talking continued with Katrina's acknowledgment of the beta. Oh, how she could rip that cocky wolf's throat out. Just give her a reason. His name was Caine- like she cared. She glanced at her alpha just awaiting her next reaction. She spoke of the calmness of the pack- to which she agreed. Sadly. She wanted so badly for one of them to mess up. At the same time, she understood that any wrong move could cause this deal to disappear and more wolves could die from lack of resources. Her attention was brought back by the sound of the deep, angry voice of the beta on the other side. She felt herself growl out despite herself almost like a reflex. "Watch it Caine," she growled, emphasising his name in attempt to show her disrespect. "Watch your tone when speaking to our alpha."
