Benjamin Yethermund
Benjamin looked back. A bird was eating the wasps? A thought then came to Ben: What if the wasps were poisonous? They sure looked like it. But whatever, it was just a bird. One of the last birds! But almost stopped. Why do I care? Ben continued running. He ran into a building and closed the door. He looked through the window, pulling away the curtain. A wasp hit the window. Ben jumped back a bit.
Ben looked around the room. It was a candle shop. It remained unharmed. An old lady sat on a chair behind the cashier. Ben walked past the body, and towards a shelf of candles. He picked one up and dusted it off. He read the candle's title.
Waspy Summer Breeze. He quickly put it down again. He reached for another one. This one read Sandy Soup Soul Breeze. Who was naming these things?
"Those are strictly for display only!" Ben almost dropped the candle.
The skinny old lady squinted strictly at him through her purple, green beaded glasses.
"Sorry old lady woman, ma'am." Ben carefully put the candle back on the shelf.
"I want them exactly as you found them!"
Ben turned the candle a bit to the right.
"Exactly."
He turned it a bit more to the right.
"The other one too!"
Ben, unquestionably, moved the Waspy Summer Breeze candle a bit to the left.
"Good. Now I've been needing a boy to clean the shop, my back has been absolutely torturous to me. Go dust off the tables for me, would you?"
"Yes, ma'am."
The old lady leaned back in her chair, her squint unwavering from Ben.
