Noel watched the butterfly with wide-eyed wonder. "I think it is incredible," he said as he looked up from the illusory butterfly back to Emma's face, "that's a wonderful gift. I don't really have anything beyond being bigger than pretty much anyone else and fire breathing. So, typical dragon fare, really." His eyes slid over to Perocaste for a moment as he noticed her with her phone out and tilted his head slightly at her with an unspoken question before refocusing on Emma.

Emma gave him a lopsided grin, "Thank you. And, hey, don't undervalue your own powers," she said seriously. "Being a dragon sounds totally awesome. You have real power and strength. Like, with my illusions, it takes a lot of effort on my part to make them feel real. Using them in anything like combat is really challenging." Her eyes clouded over for a moment and the butterfly fell to the table as if wounded, and after a moment it disappeared altogether. She watched Perocaste for a moment and tried not to look too hurt. "Besides, like all kids wish they're a dragon at some point," she said, snapping back into reality. She forced a big smile. "I know I definitely did."

When Noel's gaze landed on her, Perocaste batted her eyelashes at him for a few seconds before snorting softly and sticking out her tongue. Her tail was still flicking back and forth idly as she focused on her phone, and if she noticed that Emma seemed disappointed that she had mostly withdrawn from the conversation, she didn't react to it. She was fairly obviously still paying attention, though, as when Emma commented on all kids wishing to be dragons, she chuckled softly and rolled her eyes.

Noel gave a slightly awkward laugh at Emma's comments. "I, uh, try to avoid any kind of fighting as much as possible. So my 'strength' is really more of a hindrance than anything. Accidentally ripping a door off its hinges when you open it can get really tiring." A brief pause when he heard Perocaste's chuckle in response to everyone wanting to be a dragon and he sighed. "As for everyone wanting to be a dragon, I think most people just want to be something they're not. It... Certainly comes with its own host of problems. Some worse than others." Memories flared at the observation and he shut his eyes for a moment, using some of his concentration to focus on the room around him and the sounds to keep them at bay. He popped another piece of fruit into his mouth as he did so before opening his eyes again and trying to salvage the conversation with a smile. "I mean, I've always wanted to be able to pass for human."

"Yeah, Zeni, you want to come?" Mad asked the little vampire, knowing if he did come, Zeni would just spend the whole time feeding, but that was ok, as long as Sitri was ok with it. He ignored Sitri laughing at him and just moved away from that thought.

Sitri patted Zenith's head again. "Well, if you wanna, then come with us." The red-head vampire shifted into his tiny bat form, fluttering up to Mad's shoulder. "Onwards!" He piped cheerily, pointing a wing forwards.

Raizel sighed, finishing unpacking. He stood up, looking around at his dorm room. Perhaps he'd sleep. No- it was a bit too early for that. Raizel walked out of his room, heading to the lounge and sitting down in a plush armchair with a bottle of water.

Asir grinned, grabbing Jacob's hands with his own and twirling him around once. "Hah! I don't usually get much chance to dance to this type of music." He got down and jived to the groovy beat. He continued to dance, a huge smile on his face. This was pretty fun.

Mad chuckled looking at his friend. "Ah, so I'm your horse now, eh?" he said walking forward anyways to his dorm. "Hey, remember I called dibs on a sleepover with you tonight. he said pointing at Sitri with a totally fake serious face on.

Sitri laughed happily, hopping around Mad's shoulder then onto his friend's head. "Yayyy, sleepover!!" The tiny bat fooled around on Mad's head as they made their way to his dorm room, picking up strands of purple hair and twirling them around playfully.

Emma was quiet for a moment, thinking over Noel's response. "Well," she began, still formulating a response. "I think that it's a good thing that you don't fight. There is already too much fighting. I didn't mean that I think you should fight or anything, I just mean that should you need to, you have real power that could make a difference. And that's true in many aspects. Your power allows you to create a physical difference in the world, which is something I am envious of."
She turned her gaze towards him. "And the grass is always greener on the other side, right?" She sighed, trying to think of a way to make him feel at least a little better. "Actually, I think I have an idea as to how you could pass for human, though I don't know why you'd want to," she said with the beginnings of a crooked grin.
