Faelynn smiled at Raizel, then turned to walk away. She saw Miko and let out a small shriek, hugging him tightly. "Miko! I didn't know you were here! Why didn't you call me or anything?!"

"Yeah," Noel's answer came out a little too quickly, "that would be great. I think I worked up more of an appetite than I thought when I was dancing earlier." He turned and walked to the buffet and grabbed a plate, piling it with a large assortment of fruits and vegetables. He picked up a mango chunk from his plate as gently as he could with his claws and popped it into his mouth before making his way back over towards the table. He set it down on the side closest to the wall so he could stand off to the side out of everyone's way as he ate, still not wanting to risk breaking any of the chairs. Naturally, he had chosen the table his sister was sitting at. "Hey again, stranger," he greeted her with a grin, "I miss anything too terribly interesting while I was grabbing food?"

Emma's smile fell as she watched Noel grab a plate and find a table without her. For a second she felt incredibly exposed, but she quickly pulled herself together and got herself a plate with her head held high. She picked her way through the buffet, ending up with a few bite-sized chicken wraps with peanut sauce, some grapes, and cantaloupe. When she reached the end of the buffet, she paused, uncertain of where she wanted to sit.

"Well, there was a fly hanging around a few seconds ago." Perocaste chuckled softly as her brother returned to the table. "Highlight of the night, right behind dancing and Sitri almost getting jumped by two more vampires." She was joking obviously, about the fly not Sitri almost getting jumped, though her eyes wandered over to the girl who Noel had been speaking too, looking rather lost with her plate of food. With a slight shrug in Noel's direction, her tail flicked towards the girl before waving in the direction of the table. Perocaste herself also motioned towards her with a hand, though admittedly the red-violet tail ending in a rather large spike was probably a bit more obvious in the long run.

Emma's gaze was caught by a spiked tail waving her direction. When she realized it was the girl Noel had joined, she couldn't help but let out a tiny sigh of relief. She crossed the room to them, making certain not to rush, and took the empty seat next to the girl. "What's up? I'm Emma," she chimed, secretly super happy that she had found people to hang out with on her first day. She wanted to seem cool in front of all of her new schoolmates, but she couldn't help but be a bit nervous. 'It was a strange place full of strange people; anyone except crazy people would be nervous,' she reassured herself. She tugged her brother's jacket around her even tighter, feeling more secure and confident with it on.

"Perocaste Icahtagya, it's nice to meet you." She answered as the girl joined her and Noel at the table. "You were talking to Noel earlier, yeah? It looked like you needed someplace to sit, so you're free to join us." She had already sat down next to her, so the direct invitation wasn't exactly needed but she said it anyway. Her tail flicked idly as she spoke, looped only once around the chair now to allow it more wiggle room, as it were. The excitement from the dance with her brother was starting to wear off a bit, and the movement of her tail helped.

Noel continued to pick food off his plate with his claws and pop it into his mouth with an occasional glance at the provided silverware, all far too small to really accommodate his large claws and the unusual shape of his hands. As poor as it may have made his manners seem to treat everything as finger food he didn't have very many options. While Emma and Perocaste spoke his eyes wandered back to the dance floor and noticed it was mostly empty again. "Looks like the announcements kind of killed the mood for everyone. That's a shame," he mused before pausing momentarily to eat something else off his plate, "it looked like everyone was having fun dancing after we broke the ice, sis."

"Sorry!" Miko says hugging her back "Ther's a lot of cute girls here I haven't noticed before."

Faelynn-Mermaid/Elf-Tags, Miko Faelynn pulled back from the hug, raising an eyebrow and grinning slightly. "girls? So you already got a crush??" She asked, tilting her head.

Miko's face turns red "I just met her today. So I wouldn't call it a crush."

"Pffft!" Sitri muffled a laugh with his palm, lightheartedly laughing more at Mad's attempt rather than the joke itself. He lowered the hand, a grin still on his face. "Well," Sitri turned to look at Zenith on his back. "Zeni, you wanna watch some Sword Art Online with us?"
