⚜ "You play dirty, you filth, so the day you become King is a day you'll only dream of!" Sapphire shouted. There was a boldness to her words and she pounded her fists against his armor. Her knuckles began to swell and discolor the longer she persisted this - vein - endeavor. For no results. 'This lady is nuts!' Seth gave a shrill laugh that sounded animal. It was too shrill and distorted to call an actual laugh. 'AND THEY CALL ME CRAZY!?' A shaded look faded over his enlarged eyes. 'Well there's only room for one crazy here.' He swung his arm, jerking it hard to right, colliding it into the woman's gut so that the wind would get knocked from her. “You're gonna be having loads of dreams shortly dearie! NOW WATCH THE SIDE YOU'RE ON! Actually. Eh. Never mind I don't care....I'll just end you....” A demonic haunting wind seemed to pass through Seth's golden mask as he exhaled and began to loom toward Sapphire. There was some saliva and perspiration in the faint outlines of his oversized grin. A fog floated out from the slit hole in his helmet. He changed his sights from the king to the girl and he came in slowly to attack. But then Erin had struck his helmet from behind. Bloody-Bones was immediately stunned. He threw his head to the side in a violent yank. He began to beat on the king again and shout. "I appreciate your help GAGEY! But don't snoop where you don't belong! You belong under my boot and quiet!! And hitting is bad! Bad!" ⚜

✦ The white haired Jace and Dark chuckled. There was a sort of clam atmosphere to the air now. It relieved the tension. At least for a bit. "I think we can manage." "We shall see." He chuckled and lifted his brow and he smirked.
Then after he had asked his other question - in order to get conversation flowing - the unstoppable awkwardness sprung about the room again with Rajani's hostile glance. Her eyes seemed to be like daggers as they drove into Jace. 'Frankly. I feel bad for asking...' The Alpha uncomfortably took a sip of his tea. "Oh, where should I begin?" Jace attempted to think up a situation. Raj cut in. "Hmmm how about your first mission alone? I was too ill to go with you at the time... that should be a nice starting point don't you think?" There was a mutual agreement between the two. Light and Dark Shadow lingered and listened as the story was told aloud. And yes, it was brief. The story was finished quick. But this mission story was to prove Rajani wrong on whether or not he was a traitor - at least that's the way she saw it. "My you didn't even go into the bloody details... rather you didn't go into much detail at all. Where was this knight at the time that you killed him? What was his name? What about who this dragoness was? Was she important? Goodness Jace, way to tell a boring story." 'Quite an interrogation my dear.' Dark Shadow glanced idly to the side and sipped his tea and gently set it aside. There was a brief discussion between Jace and Raj and he turned out a small portion, and smiled at Light, and then returned to the real world. "I guess you have a good point there... Though I, and I'm sure Light and Dark also have a few questions of their own to ask you now." Questions? Now she was hiring the two of them as interrogators too? How shrewd of her. The Alpha brushed a grin past his lips and glanced over to Light as she remained quiet. The fair girl had her hands neatly pressed around her teacup and there was a tender look to her face as it flushed to Jace's story. She seemed to have rather enjoyed it. He didn't have any questions in mind either, but, the second look he made at Light he noticed a barrier. It was hidden in her irises and they grew dim. The happiness and joy seemed to be taken from her. He could watch her real smile turn fake and shrivel under the pressure of whatever was on her mind. And he would have never noticed if he hadn't nearly lived in that world. The man lowered his eyes and looked toward Jace. The expression on his face was somewhat sterner now. "Perhaps. We can change the subject. I could ask, gory details...and I'd love them. But. I just remembered-" Dark Shadow caught red from the corner of his eye mid-sentence. It was Ember in the distance, she was peering into the den and a slow icy look washed over his face. His words drifted off his lips, into the air, and fell apart. He hadn't quite finished. 'Out of her cave I see.' His nose began to crease as a slow anger began to come over him. ✦

☭ As claws raked the air in attempt to get Krogoth to flee, the man simply grinned. It was a sideways smirk, of the devious kind, and his eyes were fixed on the dagger. The little metal object glistened under the morning's rays as they ascended into the sky. The brilliant light struck the weapon in a way that caused Krogoth's expression to darken. The firmness in his face grew extensively. 'Hmm.' He thought in a sneer. The little runt was making quite a hissy fit. He was flailing and rocking, the golden fur on the hatchling's back bristled and fluffed out in size. "If you don't quit your squirming, I'll give you something to squirm about. The man threatened from between his curled lips. His pupils glided off to the side as he took up the scenery before glancing back at the little...trouble maker. Only to put it nicely. He was a pain in the wrist. Krogoth Steele's brows came in on a hard line and he snuffed. "Now prick. I hated to do this but I wouldn't have if you didn't stick your damned weapon where it didn't belong! So I'll ask very nicely. Only once. Can you high tail it out of here, and leave me be? Nod your head. I'll set you down. And I will go back to peace and quiet. It's easy unless you want to challenge MY PATIENCE!" ☭

The red dragoness glanced at Dark, seeing his expressions change when he saw her. She glanced down at the floor before deciding to cautiously enter the den. She smiled at Dark, but soon turned her head away from him as she sat beside Light. "Mind if...I join you guys?" She asked, directing the question towards Light, but she was really looking for any answer. Her stomach twisted ever so slightly as she glanced over at Raj, not liking the thought of the dragoness here with Dark. It was fine with Light, and it would have been fine with any other girl - anyone other than Rajani. Ugh...That stupid chick just had to tag along... She thought in annoyance, but her body expressions didn't show it.

"Well, if you do the math, it's about once a week..." She said, lifting her head back up with pride. "Breakfast, Lunch, and then Dinner...But, there are snacks too, so they're always eating, which makes it only once a day pretty much." She mumbled to Muscari, explaining her thinking. "And, since there are seven days in a week, it should be only seven times, but a week means only one week, so a child should only eat once a week."

The king held up his head, watching Seth attack his new knight. She is not a part of this damn fight. He thought with a growl, wishing Sapphire knew how to mind her own business. She was loyal - yes - but she was stupid enough to fight Seth with bare hands. Is this what a knight is trained to do?! Pity themselves and their idiotic actions, believing that their being intelligent?!! Anger flowed through his body before he attacked Seth, not listening to the commander's words that were directed towards Sapphire. A chuckle escaped his lips as Seth violently turned his head to stare at the king. A smirk was across his face as he began to violently beat the king, his body getting tossed around. He didn't fight back, as he already had a different tactic up his sleeve, but he wanted to see where this would lead. I appreciate your help GAGEY! But don't snoop where you don't belong! You belong under my boot and quiet!! And hitting is bad! Bad! The man clenched his fingers into a tight fist, but he didn't swing it yet. Nothing but blood slipped from his lips - not a comment - and not a sound.

A moment passed through Sapphires head, a blank one with aderdaline pushing through her, before she really looked at Erin. "Wait-" but she still pulled on the man, kicking at his knees at best, but her efforts were futile. The pain in her knuckles began to show themselves, along with an ugly color. If Erin was knocked out, he'd have no chance. She desperately yanked on the man, her fingers ached, as she tried to take back her sword. My fathers sword. All of this would come to an end so quickly; the King she swore to protect, her training all these years, her life after her King was dead... She would not accept this. She jumped on the man, her arms around his neck and swung her own body to try to unbalance him. But this man. He had far more experience. She wouldn't even be shocked if he killed a dragon before. But again, she didn't care, for this man was going for a killing blow any moment, and if she could delay it, she would.
(Eh, I know, too long, you get the point)

She got up so quickly, her seat screeched. "I-I'll get another cup. I'm sure Lia has one," she mentions another dragon who was most likely nearby. The tension in her was let out as she moved past Ember. "I hope you like tea," but she wasn't giving her much of a choice. She walked down the cave, only for a few moments, her bare feet slapping against the coolness. She had to move around some of the dragons legs, whom chooses to be in their form.

'Once a week? That doesn't seem right. I am pretty sure they would starve...' Originally, he was going to cut her off, questioning her decision. With her posture and explainable knowledge, Muscari nodded slowly as he began to understand this outstanding solution. He rubbed his chin lightly with the tip of his fingers, gaze narrowing as he considered it. In all honesty, Muscari really didn't know math. Nobody bothered to teach him. Yes, he could count and add, but anything else, he would just blankly stare at you with a puzzled expression. "I think you are right... We should probably find a place to camp for tonight, soon. Anyways, what do you eat? Grass? Bugs? Elk?" Before she had the chance to answer, Muscari pulled the hair out of his face, repeating the sleek brushing motion a few more times before carrying his words away. "You know, escargot is quite delicious. My parents used to prepare them all the time when I was a wee lad like you. They are like oysters, but less salty. You should try them, some time. Hopefully, we may be able to find some herbs to help with the taste. I haven't had one in years! You know what else is amazing? Black coffee. Now that is a real treat. It gives you the boost, ya' know? Mmm, one cup would probably keep you up for a solid 6 hours or so." His gaze became distant, Muscari sighing deeply as his memory traced back to the good old days when he was much much younger. Excitedly, he would wake up early and sneak into the kitchen and try to prepare his own meals with what ever he had. One time, he managed to make a soup bursting with flavor of the vegetables he had cut and sliced himself. Of course, a major mess was left behind, his mother growling at him before spanking him and forcing him to retreat to his room. Drooling, he wiped his lips with his wrist, Muscari glancing back every now and then to check on his own duckling.

Limbs trembling, he forcefully nodded to whatever was being barked at his face. His gaze dropped, Sauci feeling himself go limp. A hollow feeling of guilt gnawed at his belly, Sauci struggling to maintain eye contact. Holding his breath, his hind legs stretched out, aiming for the torn up ground underneath. Hopefully, this beast will get his fingers out of his scruff and let him have his dagger. After that, maybe he can find his way back to the cave with his body and curl up at his mother's belly before feasting on a elk leg. His emerald eyes squeezed tightly, Sauci feeling himself mentally screaming at the situation. Why did he have to poke this dragon with his dagger? Why did he bother to interfere? He should have just scrammed right when he had the chance.

It was all so strange, the ax perfectly fitting his left hand. Luck studied it for a moment before glaring at the door.
He shouldn't bring it. That thing is murder weapon, and Luck didn't feel like slaughtering anyone any time soon. The idea made his belly churn, Luck shoving it away. He could just explore, maybe find out why there are scales, and get used to these shapely pair of legs. Agreeing to the plan, he concealed it with a nod, Luck staggering to his feet like a fawn before ever so 'gracefully' approaching the door and falling forward, rolling off the porch and onto the grass. Growling, he pushed himself up, arms swinging out as he began to make his way towards the underbrush. His legs wobbled, each step seeming to take forever. At some points, he went to fast, lose his balance and trip into the painfully yet cushioned ground. Unsure of where he was heading, he shot his dark blue eyes towards the cabin before continuing, Luck using the trees from time to time to support the poor balance provided for this walk.

Narrowing his eyes Jace let out a bit of an irritated huff directed towards Rajani and her attempts to cause him to slip up. As quickly as it came, the annoyance that Jace was feeling flew away, his once glaring eyes came to ease and a smirk slide across his lips, "Yes, plea-" Jace was about to encourage Rajani and the others to ask him all the questions they may possibly have about his work, but Dark had quickly cut him off as he had asked to change the subject. Realizing there had to be a good reason he looked to Light, whom at this point had jumped up out of her seat and rushed out of the den saying, "I-I'll get another cup. I'm sure Lia has one,". More than slightly confused Jace's eyes followed after Light as she raced out of the room. That was when he caught the sight of the Dragoness, Ember. She had already seated herself. Jace narrowed his brow at her, he'd was there when she had her little fling with Luck. She was appalling to him... Disgusting was to light of a word to use for her. "Wait up Light!" He called before racing out after her. Jace's eyes trailed after the delicate female before him as she raced off for a tea cup. "Light, I have plenty of tea cups in my den. You are more than welcome to have them if you'd like." catching up to her, Jace gave her a gentle smile.

Jaw tightening, Rajani narrowed her eyes at Jace his body language didn't go unnoticed by her. 'You better watch your tongue boy... Your other cheek may just get a matching mark.' her foot began to tap the ground with annoyance. Taking in a deep breath she caught the rather pungent scent of Ember, about that time Dark had cut Jace off. Her scent, it smelt rather... strong. What was she doing previous? Having a rather sensitive nose, Rajani struggled to keep from pinching it shut. 'Great god of all dragons does she not bath!? What has she been doing? Rolling around with ah.....' Rajani's eyes shifted to Ember then glanced towards Dark. 'No... she wouldn't....' observing Darks posture and reaction to Embers presence she realized her assumption was most likely correct, she has been engaging with a human. But surely she didn't go that far... Rajani continued to stay quiet for the time being. Lifting her glass to her lips she took a sip of the tea before placing it gently down on the table once again. For a mere moment, her sensitive nose was saved from the aroma of her female 'friend' in front of her. Tired of the uncomfortable silence Rajani smiled at Ember, "How have you been these past three years, Ember?" She asked before giving her another calm smile. She hadn't the slightest knowledge of what had occurred moments before she entered the sanctuary.

The dragoness looked at Light for a moment as she quickly headed away from her den, searching for a tea cup. Why is she acting so nervous? She thought for a moment. Maybe it's because all of the company... She glanced at Jace when he seemed uncomfortable around Ember, a huff escaped her lips as the young male chased after Light. The moment the two left the room, silence filled the air. She looked down at her feet for a few moments, not wanting to make eye contact with the two. She cleared her throat right before Rajani spoke to Ember. She closed her eyes for a short second before reopening them, staring at the assassin. She shifted her head slightly, turning her attention towards Rajani as she checked her out. She then looked back at her bright eyes, disgusted by what she was seeing. Her lips parted as she finally decided to speak. "Uh - Like I'd waste my time talking to you." She said with a huff, baring her teeth in revulsion.

Sage nodded her head, trying to look big by filling her lungs with oxygen. She held her breath for a few seconds before she slowly exhaled, listening to his questions, slightly confused. "I eat breakfast, snacks, lunch, then another snack, then dinner, then another snack." She said, furrowing her eyebrows as Muscari seemed to ignore her response and continue a different statement. Escargot????? She thought with a small huff of confusion. What's that??? She listened to him as he continued. Oysters??? Is he making these things up?? She zoned out, not wanting to take in all of the information at once. ...Mmm, one cup would probably keep you up for a solid 6 hours or so. She perked up, catching that bit of information. "Really?!"[/I] She thought, not knowing what this thing was, but it sounded like it would taste good. "What is it??" She asked the knight, inhaling sharply.

Catching the sudden pink rush to the tips of her ears Jace smirked. "Yeah, believe it or not, Rajani and I use to live here. I stayed here more often then she ever did but that's an assassin's life for you. She does honest work, for honest pay" He chuckled a bit before pointing back towards his den. "My den is back that way. You can pick any of the cups that you like. And if you want I can bake something for everyone back at your den." He made a suggestion to incorporate a small snack into their small tea party.

A sudden scawl crawled across Rajani's face before disappearing, a smirk rested in its place. "If you're worried about spending your time wisely... I would suggest you go bath... you absolutely reek of human sweat, not to mention your own." Picking up the tea cup once more the raven haired Dragoness took a sip of the tea. Her pale blues peered into Ember as she enjoyed the pleasing scent the liquid let off. She looked Ember up and down then chuckled lightly before placing the cup on the table. "And by the state of yourself, I'd say things were.... rather intense..." she looked at Embers poorly kept hair, and slightly disorderly clothing.

Ember watched Rajani's reaction, a small tsk escaped her throat before a chuckle escaped her lips. If you're worried about spending your time wisely... I would suggest you go bath... you absolutely reek of human sweat, not to mention your own. Her eyes slightly narrowed slightly as Rajani mentioned the scent of humans. Luck entered her mind, which caused her heart skipped a beat. A sharp hiss escaped her lips before a smile slowly spread across her face. The girl weaved her fingers through her hair and flipped it to the other side in a flirtatious manner. Her eyes were locked onto Raj's blue irises, watching the woman take a sip from her cup. Ember slowly licked her parted lips, listening to the rest of what the assassin had to say. And by the state of yourself, I'd say things were.... rather intense... "Oh you have no idea." She murmured, the mischievous smile across her face didn't fade. Her blue and hazel eyes flickered over to her surroundings, the den was rather cold and dull, but at least the aroma of the tea made up for the imperfections of Light's room. She turned her attention back to Rajani, catching a glimpse of Dark. As long as the two weren't alone, she could almost guarantee that they wouldn't get together. Her stomach twisted in a small knot at the thought that Rajani could go after the guy she loved, but Ember was forbidden because of a few pesky rules. These rules mean nothing...I've already broken nearly all of them, so there's no harm anymore. She thought, wanting to direct Raj away from the general topic. "Well, I'm a scout, so it's kinda my job to interact with humans...But...What would you know about action? It's not like you've had any." She rolled her eyes and flipped her hair over her shoulders, forgetting that Dark was in the room as her focus was now on attacking Rajani. "I mean, the one guy who could ever love you dumped you, and you came back, expecting something out of him. Well, honey, while you're trapped in your fantasies, I'm over here sleeping with guys-"

Catching the sudden pink rush to the tips of her ears Jace smirked. "Yeah, believe it or not, Rajani and I use to live here. I stayed here more often then she ever did but that's an assassin's life for you. She does honest work, for honest pay" He chuckled a bit before pointing back towards his den. "My den is back that way. You can pick any of the cups that you like. And if you want I can bake something for everyone back at your den." He made a suggestion to incorporate a small snack into their small tea party.

The Dragoness cold eyes rested on Embers facial features. She watched as her cheeks slightly flushed at the words human. "No, I do not and I never desire to get that close to a human." She informed her before chuckling, all the while Rajani was struggling to keep her calm. Every inch of her body wanted to put Ember in her place. Just as the pale eyed Dragoness was calming, Ember, yet again, began to utter words that seems to have left a rather sour taste in her mouth. In what seem to be less then seconds, Rajani's right hand shot to Embers throat and was lifting her out of her seat, her left hand held a dagger at her jugular vein. The table that was once between them was now toppled over side ways, the teacups shattered. Her eyes burned with rage as a frosty mist began to emit from her body. "I am utterly disappointed in you, Ember. Falling so low as to sleep with a human.... and now you are here gossiping about your time with him in front of your Alpha!" Snarls rolled off of Rajani's tongue as she continued to hold Ember up by her throat, seemingly unphased by the extra weight. Her eyes narrows before she forcefully threw Ember to the ground, "and for your information, Dark and I agreed to separate I have no intentions of winning him over." Growling lowly she glared down at her "you shouldn't sucum to the pleasures a life can give you... it can be quite painful if you loose it." Rajani gave her a cold grin.
