All his instincts were telling him to run back into the underbrush and away from this mess, far far away where he could snuggle up next to his mom while feeding on some animal carcass. Before he could turn around, a large hill caught his eyes. Trees were trapped on it, but a particular tall one caught his eyes. Its branches reached out towards the sky with the other trees seeming to bow down before it. 'I can use it! Maybe if I climbed it, I will be able to see the sanctuary!' He pressed on into the disaster, Sauci keeping to the side lines as he avoided any possible contact with what was clearly the non dragons. It may have been better to be in his human form, but his senses were sharper in this dragon form, the rich smokey scents clogging his nostrils as well as unfamiliar scents. It was as if he had stepped through a portal into another dimension. He stepped lightly through, Sauci flinching and jumping at every move or noise he heard. He picked up the pace, his golden body flashing. Some people shouted, their fingers pointed at him, their words frightful and blaming. Someone tried to grab him from behind, Sauci leaping forward and barely escaping the possible capture. He dove towards a small tunnel leading to a building appearing to be close to collapse. Panting, his gaze flickered, Sauci watching the space around him. The walls were torn and the hay on the roof was slipping down slowly, the area in dark hues of grey. Part of the walls were slipping off willingly, ashes choking the air. Sauci felt his lung scratch for fresh air, his tiny claws rushing him out through the missing walls and back into the open area. Surveying the space around him, he crouched down, his golden scales rigged with the black powder. A sudden crack erupted, wood falling down in the place Sauci had just been. Not bothering to look back, he raced forward, kicking debris behind him. There were still some sparks and flames left in what was left of the village, the black fog rising in the air and waving about, as if saying goodbye. Sauci paused, glancing around with wild green eyes as he felt himself sway on his feet. It was all so confusing, the noises crackling in his blood pumping ears as the scents confused his head. Feeling light headed, he continued to charge onward. The tree was still up ahead, Sauci scrambling towards its direction. His feet ached and the confusing terrain caused him to pause most times to catch his breath and quickly search the area around to see if anyone was hunting him down.

Luck blinked a few times, regaining some of his memories from the event before, the world around him making more sense. Taking a breath of the crisp air, he landed back down in the bed, arms sprawled out. It was all so.. odd. He held his breath for a moment, his hand reaching out towards Ember's. His eyes were lost on the walls and ceilings of this room, the warm bed engulfing his mind as he stared limply upwards. It was an odd sensation of feeling lost, Luck realizing how much he was trusting Ember. It didn't matter - as long as she stayed here, he was fine. But what would happen if she left? Luck shifted his weight uneasily before glancing in surprise at Ember. "It's a long day, lover boy...We have other things to do." Blinking in surprise at being called lover boy, his response stumbled out clumsily, Luck keeping his sapphire gaze glued on the walls.
"What other things do you have in mind? Do they involve horses or flying? Flying horses?" He chuckled awkwardly, unsure of how to handle the situation.

✦ Light had been swift to dodge her question. It seemed purposeful and caused her face to turn a soft shade of pink. Her words glided gently in the air as her eyes grew large. Dark looked briefly to Rajani and told her, "I'm going to take a walk, you can wander around...or stay if you'd like." Turning his head, he briefly touched Light's shoulder as a gesture for her to move. And he looked to her. "Shall we?"
When they both took their leave and departed from the assassin and her company, the man looked up very distantly and smiled to himself."I'm gonna let you in on a little secret..." He murmured and lid his hands into his suit's pockets. "I've never...really tried 'tea' before..." ✦

She looked around the room, feeling as if someone was watching the two, but she knew that no one was here - which was relieving. What other things do you have in mind? He growled at the idea of 'hanging out' with this knight, but if it was important, then he had to find out what it was. "You better not be a waste of my time." Come on, we need to get some equipment." He highly doubted Sage would ever be able to get her hands on reins, or even find a horse. Most of herds wandering around probably got scared and scampered off because of the flames. The flames! Did King Gage know yet about them? Was Seth going to report the incident to him? He froze cold, Muscari's grip loosening as he realized that death was patiently waiting at his doorstep, taking its time to ring the doorbell. The word together tingled, his head tilted curiously. His jaw opened before Luck forced it shut, clearly unsure of how to respond. He gave a soft smile, happy to hear that she wants to stay around. When Ember seemed to be searching every crevice of the room with her gaze, Luck felt uneasy, glancing at the same spots as if question what she was looking for. He pulled himself closer, Luck silently whispering to her. "Does it require us to get up and go outside?" He groggily wiped his eyes, his vision clearing up as he combed the hair out of his face with his hand.

A faint sigh escaped from Anezä's lips only to disappear into a small gust of wind passing by as she continued to stand in place, watching the sanctuary with wide and curious eyes. She had only seemed to notice Dark was missing after he'd left her to walk with the stranger whom she'd also completely ignored, after tilting her head in slight confusion at his disappearance Anezä shrugged her shoulders before walking back into the sanctuary and sitting alone on a rock away from the other dragons. She currently had a lot of thoughts running through her mind as she sat, mainly about her sister, crashing down into the sanctuary, the herbs that the dragon "Jace" apparently direly needed for some reason, and joining the sanctuary. She had also begun to wonder where Dark, Light, and the stranger had disappeared to, but as she'd caught a glimpse of Dark and Light heading to one of the dens she began to get curious as to what they were up to. After getting up and off the rock Anezä began to quietly sneak after them.

Ember raised an eyebrow, staring at Luck as he looked around the room in the same spots she glanced at. He seemed only concerned when she was, which had its negative and positive effects. She sighed slightly, pulling her hand away from his and resting it on the mattress. She slowly pushed herself up, standing unsteadily as she glanced back at Luck. “I have a few things to take care of somewhere else…If that doesn’t bother you.” She muttered, thinking about heading back to the sanctuary before Dark found out about her disappearance.

Sage nodded her head, anticipation filling her mind. “A pony is fine.” She mumbled with a smirk, although she hadn’t seen a real life pony. Isn’t it a baby horse?? She thought, questioning herself for a moment. But she knew that whatever she had gotten would most likely be a nice present. And an adventure! She thought, nodding her head as he finished his sentence. “What will we need?” She asked the knight, having no clue as to what was soon to come. As long as she was entertained, the trip would be promising – and as long as Uncle Seth didn’t tag along. The more she heard the mad man, the more she disliked him. “Is Uncle Seth coming?” She asked, hoping that the two had the same plans. ⚜ As Seth passed through the throne room doors and eyed the expansive area, his mischievous smile grew larger. The Knight Commander drew his face in Erin’s direction. "Spit it out you bloody pest." For a first, he was quiet. He didn’t make much sound. The doors closed and their sound reverberated around the room. Its sound drew the Bloody-Bones in further. He was hanging at every thought in his ill head. “I first wish to inform you – my majesty, that I have taken care of your little…dragon’s parents. They are pushing daises as we speak. The both of them. I suggest we bring the head of the father for later, perhaps as a nice trophy for my...YOUR wall.” Seth giggled maliciously. “Considering it is a bloody dragon skull! How bizarre…but….King….Erin….” The glazed look in his eye passed to the door behind him. And his tone seemed off in a way and slightly on edge. Something had stirred in his psychotic system. It was eerily sudden. The bloodshot Seth possessed grew larger with every passing minute, and studying Erin’s obvious remoteness, he took a step forward. Walking casually beside Light and smiling to the inquiry, Dark Shadow crossed his eyes to the side. He timidly gazed to the side. “Yes. I see your point.” A smirk lifted onto his lips and he lifted his chin as if to soak in the idea. There was a fight for words as he tried to clarify. At least vaguely. ”Certain…events often kept me from these…simple things…” The man muttered and lifted his hand and grazed it along the back of his neck. His fingers caressed his black hair and the Alpha returned his eyes to her. He sensed Light's tension growing dim. ”May I…ask you a question?” He asked simply. The man could see Light’s den just out of the corner of his eye and looked to it now.
He had a feeling that prickled the back of his neck though but kept it at bay. 'It's friendly.' He assured himself. But acted as if nothing happened whatsoever. ✦

☭ As Krogoth had detected the foul stench of smoke, he decided to land, making the rest of the trip by foot. Flying was an ease for him. However, flying was exhausting business and after his little trip – he decided it would be best to leave well enough alone. ‘Pah. I could fly across the world; it’s just this damned metallic hand weighing me down.’ He snorted tartly. The yellow dragon walked among the grass bed, watching sun creep over the horizon. His orange eyes melted with its color and subtly warmed him. Him? No. Krogoth was pleased. For a first. He kept Rajani’s proposition as he continued forward. It kept him on track for a while. Suddenly there was a hollering far in the distance. ‘I’m done with bloody intervening on other people’s behalf.’ Krogoth blew smoke from his nostrils, caressed the tip of his tail over a tree trunk, and persisted forward. He entirely overlooked the fading shouts until peace calmed him once more. The dragon’s fiery eyes marked the land in a tightening stare and he pulled his lips back and growled.
A few minutes came and went, and suddenly, a few shrubs moved. Whatever was approaching was very small. This made him believe in a, ‘a potential meal’. Food was on his mind, and made him cranky. Krogoth turned his head and slunk back. His yellow shape fell back into the underbrush as the animal approached in a wild dash. –Unknowingly falling right into his trap. In his mouth if he was lucky. Krogoth’s lips curled backwards, he took a slow step forward, noticed the dropping pace of the creature. His irises flashed eagerly. A waft of smoke trailed from the dragon’s muzzle, he drew in – closer – closer. A flash of gold peeled into the area suddenly and seemed to have stopped in order to look around, though not in the dragon’s direction. He gave a guttural growl before bashing out from the undergrowth and out after this animal with jaws snapping open, saliva drew out between his displaying fangs. But when he noticed it was a hatchling, Krogoth snapped into recognition, his eyes went wide; he fell forward, yanked his body to the side, and rolled out onto the soil. Dirt sprayed in all directions. The dragon laid out on his stomach now in a grumpy pile of yellow scales and smoke. His muzzle quivered as he snarled to himself. His head snaked to the side, he lifted himself with a heavy look to his eye, and puffed angrily at the little hatchling.”I could’ve taken you out!” Spat Krogoth. He lifted into a stand, his shadow looming over the puny thing with distaste. A hiss lingered at his throat as he snapped, ”Idiot!” ☭
