Insulted by his response, he could only give a muffled gesture of bland acceptance, his grip stiffening before Muscari hesitantly escorted himself away. Gaze narrowing towards where King Gage rested like a lazy cat, he retreated back to the hall way, a cross expression on him. "I can't believe he didn't even consider tugging you into the boy scouts. Honestly, how could he pass up a free soldier?" His head shook, cheeks puffed in frustration. "Sorry sweety, no unicorns for today." Lowering himself down to the ground, he gave some space for Sage to climb off his broad shoulders, Muscari silently ranting to himself about King Gage's irrational, outrages response, his gaze flaring with the taste of the sweet blood of revenge.

The sudden movement of his beta caused Sauci to flinch back, watching her pick up his friend and race away. Surprised, his emerald eyes stared blankly at the spot right where they were, as if he had just seen a ghost. Blinking a few times, the little dragon returned back to the moment, Sauci crawled through the root, rolling out into the clearing. Hissing, he began to race after the beta's scent, his nostrils flaring. 'Don't worry my friend, you will be saved from beta!' Cheeks puffing, Sauci did his best to keep up, his short legs only carrying him so quickly across the rocky terrain. he often had to pause to climb over rocks, or ram through bushes to continue following the swift red dragon. His claws felt like rocks, lungs blazing with scorching flames. Feeling as if he couldn't take it any longer, Sauci paused for a moment, his back hunched as he panted. Tongue rolling out, Sauci's gaze lifted, watching cautiously towards the direction Ember may have dashed off to.

Her movements were anything but elusive, Ember's captivating gaze locked on him. Luck stared back, his expression blank as his fingers curled into a fist before he scooted to leave some space for her on the decorated bench. "Well, what do you have to spill? Did you figure out how someone can travel to the moon?" His sapphire eyes rolled teasingly before his facial structure suddenly became straight and questionable. The room was crackling in anticipation, Luck's gaze eventually becoming softer, concern sweeping over. 'Did I upset her? Did she figure out how to kill me in the fastest way or the most painful way to torture me?' Scolding himself for such thoughts, he chuckled at himself, hand ruffling his dark and tangled hair.

Ember stared into his deep blue eyes, catching his blank expression before looking down at his hands that were clenched into a tight ball. Her eyes flickered slightly, listening to him speak and chuckling slightly, shaking her head and rolling her eyes. “Brilliant Luck. I was hoping that you’d find that out on your own.” She mumbled, not sitting down on the bench. “Well, first, I need to look around the place. I’ll be staying here with you, since you’re not allowed to come to my place.” Which is a cave, but oh well. She thought, her fingertips gently brushing up against the wall as she limped around the place, wanting to get used to the entire thing. She opened up a door, glancing at a bed. “Y-…You should get some rest.” She said to him, looking back, concern filling her eyes. He was different now, which could benefit her in some ways, but she wanted the other Luck back.

Sage looked at the king, listening in anticipation before she heard what the man had to say. She stared at Erin in surprise and shock, not able to understand his decisions fully. Her eyes flickered over to the woman who seemed slightly distracted for a moment, but then her eyes were soon drawn to Sage. Her stomach twisted into a tight knot, staring back at Sapphire as fear made her silent. The little girl didn’t like the woman’s aura whatsoever. Her round pupils became slit, and her blue eyes became a bright shade of blue. As Muscari walked away, her attention was torn off of Sapphire. Her eyes shifted back to their normal state, calmness overcame her other emotions within a few moments. Yeah. I can’t believe he didn’t even consider tugging you into the boy scouts. Honestly, how could he pass up a free soldier? Sage huffed, mentally repeating Muscari’s words, confusion still clouding her mind. Yeah…How could he? I’d be really good! She thought, hesitating for a few moments before speaking. “Well…Maybe we can talk to him later?” She asked, disappointed that she wouldn’t get a unicorn today, but there was always tomorrow.

He crossed his arms, walking towards a hallway that contained many rooms. “You may pick whichever you feel is more comfortable.” He said to her, furrowing his eyebrows slightly.

Jack watched the mad man’s expression shift ever so slightly in confusion. It comforted him to know that this amateur was not familiar with this ‘trick’, but that was not his main focus right now. This was not some game that he’d play, this was a battle that he would rule. No one else - he wanted to see his last breath slowly escape...Have Seth’s head mounted on a wall or even force his corpse down the king’s sick throat as a warning to not come knocking at his door. When he walked outside and shifted into his dragon, he listened to Seth’s words, disgust instantly twisted his guts into something absolutely fowl. And he dares to speak with such ignorance. He thought, a bitter snarl escaping his hollow throat, making it sound quiet yet intimidating. “Don’t chew on more than you can swallow.” He hissed bitterly before snatching the man like a toy, tossing him outside violently. He stared at the knight, taking several steps towards him. The sound of his bones classing together and his tendons shifting echoed through the silent landscape - his breaths were dull, and his eye sockets each had a single, golden pupil that appeared to be made out of many tiny dust particles. The dragon took several cautious steps towards Seth, eyeing him with a hatred that could never be dulled. Not unless the man was dead. Jack saw him leap towards the pile of bones, jabbing at them and expecting a different result. He just stood there, watching the little display - with little amusement. “Face it, mad man – you’re not going anywhere – and you never will”

⚜ It seemed several thoughts had gone through the dragon’s eyes as he rushed into battle. The man’s sword cut the air. His attacks went unnoticed, though Seth had cared little. To him, this pursue was a game. He was no longer in reality, but in his own little – twisted and warped mind - the sounds of the dragon was music to his ears. ‘I am invincible!!’ His opponent was not amused, but he was quite entertained. ‘I am the darkness!! I am the night!!! I am evil!! I give you fright!! Bwahaha –oh look at that...another rhyme. Poet and I know-it – snaaaap I did it again! Damn I’m good. Tsss!’ The Knight drove his sword forward and the bone dragon ducked in, pinching his armor between his fangs, and hurdling him aside. His body was slung around like a doll. ‘Omph....this hurts...’ After the third go, the wind was kicked out of him and he stood with a whine. “Awww crap, I’m getting too old for this.” Bloody-Bones cracked his back after the groan, then stretched his arm out and shook his fist violently, his voice cracking as an old man’s. “Back in my day, dragons would die in the sight of me! Now I gotta do all the work – you little whipper-snapper, don’t you know to die when you see beauty.” There was a clever look to his eye as he brushed some dust off his shoulder. ‘And I am beautiful.’ He felt mighty proud of himself and took up his weapon. He jabbed it once, he jabbed it twice, he aimed at anything even relatively vital, at least...for a seemingly immortal bone dragon. ‘Fine,’ he barked, he ascended his glimmering golden helmet to gaze up at the towering shadow before him. This dragon had not moved, nor bit at him, he remained idle and calmed, which was strange considering Seth had just killed his mate. ‘And, do not forget – raided his pantry. A man loves his pantry. Not to mention all of the goodies inside...’ “Face it, mad man – you’re not going anywhere – and you never will.” The words were like thunder upon the Lead Knight’s ears, but he brushed the tone aside with a shrug. “At least you know I’m mad. That’s a start. Look at you, so clever.” He shook his finger with a smirk. “But as for going nowhere...” His eyes immediately grew demented, and a warped looked crawled its way onto his face, it dove onto his lips, sinking like a parasite, feasting on the bone dragon’s words to grow. “You’re wrong- you’re the one who’s never leaving – and say hi to your wife for me.” Seth braced his fingers over the hilt of his blade; his grimy teeth were displayed as he smiled and broke out a laugh, he swung the tip forward, and drove the weapon far over his head, straight between the dragon’s neck vertebrae. The metal stuck straight through the middle and a sliver of it poked out from the top. Seth could see pain now. It only coaxed him further. ⚜

The mad-man kept on jabbing the dragon, his efforts were wasting time and energy. Jack’s golden eyes flickered towards the human, seeing more insanity the longer he waited. Seth was obviously entertained jabbing the dragon’s large and stiff bones, which angered Jack even more. Does he just see everything as a game?! Was my WIFE a game to him?!! He thought, listening to his words with rage filled eyes. There was no other explanation – Seth had found this fun, as if were a game and as if everything revolved around him. “In your dreams, you worthless chunk of flesh.” He snarled bitterly, watching the man stand up, pride filling Seth’s expression. This was sick – beyond sick. Seth jabbed at the dragon once again, making no more progress than he had first started. The dragon wanted to attack, but he had no idea how to exactly deal with Seth. There were so many ideas, but killing wasn’t exactly his main thing. He killed June, why can’t I just kill him at the spot?! He thought in frustration, growling quietly to himself. The more Seth spoke, the more anger was shoved down his throat. He acted “oh so clever”, but Jack had figured that the man didn’t know how to kill him. Jack took a few steps forward, his claws digging into the ground as he started to pick up speed, but his move was soon cut off when the blade was shoved into his neck, the crunching sound echoed through his head. He froze for a moment, the pain shocking him for several seconds before he tried raising his head, hoping that the sword would be pulled out even the slightest bit, but he had little luck. With every second, the pain grew more and more intense, and he felt his body wanting to collapse. His golden pupils faded slightly, barely showing life draining from the weapon lodged into his neck. Fear was now driving his actions, and no longer rage. He turned his head slightly, wanting to throw Seth and his precious weapon away from him, but the sword only dug in further. A roar filled the air as he frantically tried shaking his neck as if there was a bug on it, but he wasn’t quite able to remove the sword.

⚜ The dragon’s elongated neck squirmed to try and remove the sword, but it was futile. A roar pierced the sunrise’s wind. Seth’s arms were yanked, nearly out of the sockets, with every tug the bone dragon had made to dislodge the weapon. He was seriously lucky this dragon’s head was not in position to pluck out the sword. ‘Then again – I’d get him anyway!! Bwahaha!!’ The Knight drove in, his blade grinded between the vertebrae, his eyes were like two abysses, and his smile carved onto his face, the crashing was like a sweet crunch. And then he yanked in, but as he did it, Seth was thrown to the side and his grip failed him. He flew out, tumbled across the grass, the dragon was busy shaking his head madly from side to side, roaring madly as he was hurdled. Cocking his head, body resting over the grass, Bloody-Bones watched the sword remain lodged in the bone dragon’s neck; he gave a sharp hiss, leapt to his feet, rushed forward, and lunged to take hold of the blade’s hilt- while Jack had been struggling. The Knight was thrashed back and forth by the dragon, but his hands were firm on his sword. His eyes flared. He smiled and went to drive his sword back and strike the skull, but as he did that, the dragon twisted his head, his arm came in, and there was a deafening crack as the blade – instead – began to sever at the neck. This was not Seth’s intention, as he went for whatever attack available, but it started back up his previous idea. Bloody-Bones pulled at the blade, and then drove it in more, he beat the sword at the vertebrae and thrashed it between the spine, cracking it as he weaved it back and forth. ⚜

Her eyes glanced at the room, a feeling I'm her chest that made her warm. When the two were an earshot away, she says lowly to the King, "where did you find that girl? From the streets or the forest?" Her hazel eyes crosses the Kings, a shadow on her face. She almost would inch for her sword if she knew for sure of Sage's kind. But her eyes drifted off to the rooms. "It's obviously not her daughter, from the looks of it..." Or judging by Sage's ears. Or hair color.

'Later... ya right.' He snorted, Muscari shaking his head as he strode away from King Gage and his guest. Disinterested in interacting with a snobby king and a possibly new recruit, Muscari tugged along his own guest around the decorated and well furnished halls, his expressing flaring with hatred towards the King. "You know, King Gage can be so rude and snotty at times. You would have made for a wonderful soldier, you know. Your a dragon hybrid thing, aren't you?
Right? You can spit fireballs and grow wings and stuff?" Near the end of his rant, Muscari began to question the poor girl in a innocent voice, genuine interest sparking in his eyes. His gaze landed gingerly onto Sage, Muscari finding himself protectively guiding her through the hallways, his stride shortened to match her's. Brushing the observed information off his shoulders, he continued to stay glued by Sage's side, his tall body looming over the young child.

Shaking his head, he scuttled away in the opposite direction, Sauci somewhat positive he was heading in the right direction towards the sanctuary. Continuing his little walk, panic squeezed his little dragon lungs as he realized that the sanctuary wasn't popping up. Halting for a moment, Sauci felt the world around him swirl, as if he was being engulfed in water with chains gripping at body. Shaking his head, his chest puffed, Sauci searching the space around with his emerald eyes. The sanctuary had to be somewhere. Someone would find him eventually. 'I should make the best of it... I mean honestly, I haven't been this far from home ever. Mom can find me, right? Right? Yes, so that means I can explore because I am the boss now.' Giving himself permission, Sauci took a brief moment to decide on the direction he would head. After staring at the forest whom which appeared to be the same from all angles, Sauci quickly scratched a tree's bark, marking his place, before heading in the direction he chose. Scampering forward, his stout legs trotted lightly on the ground, dry and crippled leaves pushed by his twinkling claws as he made his way through the cluttered forest. At times, he faced a fallen log or boulder, Sauci climbing them willingly, adventure scorching in his eyes. 'I can't wait to tell everyone about this! They will be so jealous!' Grunting in praise towards himself, Sauci continued to scramble through, the slight taste of burning fires tickling his nostrils. Surprised by the smells, he surveyed his surroundings, head tilted. 'Am I this close to the sanctuary? Wow! I am a great explorer!' Smiling to himself, he rushed forward, only to presented with the devastated cries and shouting of people. They were down the hill, but he could still see the poor scene. Odd structures were in ashes, the untouched wood poking out of the piles of rocks and tormented hay, as well as crusty bodies flowering. Stunned by the scene, Sauci stepped back, unsure of what emotions he was feeling. Only the cold frost of numbness pulled its way through his quivering body, Sauci's gaze become wilder with shock.

Her lustful actions spooked Luck in someways, Luck only able to respond with a brisk nod as he pulled his hands towards himself. Listening to her now more gentler voice, he glanced up in surprise by the tone, jaw gaped open. Coughing up an answer, his voice was low and almost quiet as a whisper, Luck searching for answers. "Thank you for being so patient.. really. Thanks for helping me out... but please don't feel like you have to stay here. I mean - I don't mind if you stayed but I don't want to be forcing you to be trapped here.." Unable to keep eye contact, he glanced down, aware of how his hands became sweaty, face glinting with the slight nervous shade of rose. After an awkward moment of silence, Luck forced himself to limp towards the place Ember was suggesting for him to sleep, gratitude flashing on his face as he pulled himself towards the bed. As far as he knew, it didn't matter who owned it. Ember was calm, so why not be calm as well? Collapsing onto the soft mattress, his body engulfed by the soft bedding. Rolling onto his side, Luck stared blankly at the bare walls, his cheek nuzzling his knuckles gingerly. His heart longed to feel Ember's warmth against himself, singing out for a peck on the cheek or more. Taking a deep breath of the musky air, Luck scrunched up slightly, embarrassed by his thoughts as his gaze darkened, his wandering eyes landing on Ember.

Rolling onto his side, Luck stared blankly at the bare walls, his cheek nuzzling his knuckles gingerly. His heart longed to feel Ember's warmth against himself, singing out for a peck on the cheek or more. Taking a deep breath of the musky air, Luck scrunched up slightly, embarrassed by his thoughts as his gaze darkened, his wandering eyes landing on Ember.
