She raised an eyebrow and watched him closely. "Yes, while that's all funny and all Squishy, mind telling me why you gave me a ten?" Her expression quickly turned to a serious one.

MAX

Max grinned evily and dragged her into the nearest room with him. "Fine June Bug!" He said, before kissing her.

Cole finally calmed down, his face flushed. He wiped a tear away and shook his head. "I was just following the question, I don't have to explain anything." He told her.

Juni kissed him back eagerly. "You seem more than happy to accept it." She said against his lips.

She frowned and narrowed her eyes. "Why not? Oh come on Cole I'm tired of being confused like this!" She said, sitting back in her chair with her arms crossed.

MAX

Max pulled away after a second. "Well Why wouldn't I?" He chuckled.

Cole rested his feet on the table, leaning back in his chair and continuing to eat his icecream. "What's confusing? I like you. That's already been established. What else is there to say?" He said.

Juni's face went red. How could she have doubted him? "N-nothing. Never mind." She stuttered.

"Ugh... Because, Cole..." She pinched the bridge of her nose and sighed. "Because I like you too! And I'm not sure if you've noticed that or anything, but I do." She looked up at him. "But you don't..." Soren struggled for words. "You don't show it..." The girl said slowly. "If you actually like me, then you should at least try to act like it!"

MAX

The boy chuckled and kissed her on the nose.

The playful amusement was gone from Coles face and he looked seriously confused. "How.. Do I do that?" He asked.

Juni rolled her eyes and kissed him on the lips, hard, wrapping her arms around his neck.

She shook her head. "Well let's think for a minute... What would you do with someone that you liked... A lot?" Soren layed her head in both of her hands with an eyebrow raised.

MAX

Max grinned into the kiss and opened his eyes for a second before closing them again.

"I don't.. I.. I don't know. It doesn't even matter, it's not happening." He went rigid, dropping the subject. "It's been 10 minutes guys!" He yelled.

Juni pulled away and rested her head on his shoulder, sighing. "Dammit." She muttered when she heard Cole.

Soren looked at him with an unreadable expression on her face. "It's not happening?" She asked, raising an eyebrow. Cole made a horrible decision. "EXCUSE ME COLE, BUT YOU ARE DOING EXACTLY WHAT IS CONFUSING ME. YOU SAY YOU LIKE ME, AND THEN YOU GO, "OH JUST FORGET ABOUT IT" AND I JUST..... GUUUHHH!!!" She screamed, all of her emotions spilling out at once. "Just... Whatever!" Soren grumbled angrily, stomping away from the table and into her room with the loud slam of the door.

MAX

Max rolled his eyes. "Let's just stay in here. Cole's got Soren to talk to, they'll be fine..." Barely a second after that, Soren began screaming. After she was done with her outburst, and inside her room, Max winced. "Dang..."

Juni's eyes widened in panic. "Crap! This is bad!" She said, scrambling out of his arms and rushing out kit in time for Cole to slam his door and lock it, his book on the counter gone. "Cole!" she called, pounding on the door. "Cole, cmon, I'm not letting you do this again!" She grabbed fistfuls of her hair and groaned.
