SIRUS
Sirus scoffed and tucked back hair. Silently he noticed Mira slipping away and although he knew nothing of the emotional expression of wolves. He could simply tell something was awry. He kicked at the rubble on the floor and lifted his head, flipping his hair to the side again as it was starting to look scraggly and rough.
"I'm getting me a drink..." Sirus pushed his back away from the wall and fled to the lounge area where the old bar was located. His two hands braced the counter as he dipped his over the back side of the bar, looking for a beer or bottle of some sort. Once he located a small square bottle, he clenched it in his fist and leaned up. To his left, he noticed a steel reinforced door. With a bit of curiosity he made his way for it, pushing it open abruptly. It led outside, into an ally way that was surrounded by buildings on all sides. He walked outside and stood in the shade of a fire escape. The sun was high in the center of the sky and was beating down against the pavement.
He took a deep breathe and reached into his back pocket, pulling a cigarette from it. Now normally Sirus did not smoke, but he always kept them with him. It was like a very unusual security blanket. One that he used from time to time when he was stuck delegating. Something he truly hated to due but felt more than obligated to his people.
He slipped the cig in his mouth and snapped his thumb and middle finger together, creating small flame between them. This he used to light the end. With another deep inhale he looked up at the sky and wondered what was left to come from this, would they ever build alliance. Then for a split moment, he thought about what would happen with Mira or even what HAD happened. He still wasn't fully sure.
After a few final puffs he flipped the butt away and opened the door to reenter the hotel bar. By this time, he noticed that the Angel had made it down stairs to join them. "Good to see you found your way.." He was genuinely honest this time. The tobacco had a tendency to calm him, to level him out and make him a bit more non-confrontational. Something sort of usual in nature for him.
