Rachel floated around, feeling slightly strange as jim was walking through her.
>>bbrrrr...urgh...oh no.<<
still as a cloud she raced through the house, trying to find the bathroom.
as she finally found it, she turned human again and hung her head over the toilet.
"urgh...what are you doing to me,my little princesses...", she moaned, throwing up. >>i hate that part of pregnancy.<<
something in the corner of the room caught her attention. her eyes widened. she was used to seeing dead people now and then, but still...
"James...", she whispered.
jim's father softly put a hand on her shoulder and smiled. "the song you sung was beautiful. thank you. and thank you for forgiving me... how are you? feeling better?"
Rachel nodded. "yeah, just hungry." she looked at james and smiled. "and...you and jennifer...and jack?"
ge smiled softly, the same soft smile as jim. "we're a family again."
"that's great", rachel mumbled smiling. two more persons appeared and her smile turned into a huge grin. "Jennifer! Jack!"
jennifer helped her stand up and they went into the garden in front of the house. jack came running with a ball. "can you play with me?", he asked with big eyes. rachel smirked. while Jennifer and James were sitting in the grass, arm in arm, just as her and jim so often, she was playing soccer with Jack. "wuhuu! one point for Rachel Davis!", she cheered, sticking out her tongue to jack. he giggled. "but i'm faster!" and he ran through the garden, rachel running after him. "wait for it, i'll get you!!", she laughed. "NEVERRR!", Jack cheered.

"nah, c'mon, you can tell me", Mac said with a soft smile and kissed her cheek. "i bet it's a great idea. and if it's not, i'm not gonna laugh or so. promised."

Athena frowned deeply. "still sounds weird." her eyes widened. "ohhh...where are we gonna marry?"

Jim jumped up and walked over to the window, seeing...his wife? What was Rachel doing here? And why was she running through the frontyard? And where did Jack's voice come from?
Frowning, he walked downstairs again, through the door and stopped as he closed the door behind him.
"Rey? What are you doing here?"

Hunter nodded. "Okay...so...I was thinking...Jim made you an android, right? Soooo...shouldn't he be able to built a new arm for you then? Without you being hurt?"

Steve rolled his eyes. "You'll see. If we ever encounter a bear, I'll show you!" Wrapping his arms around Athena from behind, he smiled softly. "I don't know. Where do you wanna marry? Here? Or at Aegis?"

Jack ran into Rachel and she fell over, laughing. ruffling his hair, she giggled.
"okay. okayokay, you won, little bro, you won."
noticing jim, she blushed. "I was worried you'd do something stupid, so i followed you, to help you if you'd need help. then i had to tjrow up and James, Jenny and Jack here appeared and now we're here." her eyes widened. "oh, jen, by the way, where'd you get the guitar strings you gave jim a year ago? they have a heavenly sound."
jennifer smiled happily. "there's tjat very small store in texas, not many people kniw about it, because it's really really small. but they're from there."

"not that easy", mac said with a soft smile. "the nerves are telling tje limbs how and when to move, so they need to be connected...but i already have an idea that might work without that..."

"i'm done with aegis...", Athena mumbled nd sat down on the couch. "thaz's all in the past..."

Jim frowned, looking around. He didn't see anybody. And who was Rachel talking to?
He could only feel his heart racing.
"So...you followed me because you didn't trust me?", he asked, not sure wether to be angry at her or not. She followed him because she worried about him and because she didn't want him to do something stupid. But she also followed him because she didn't believe he could do something on his own without messing it up or doing something stupid.

Hunter raised an eyebrow. "Oh okay. And what is your idea?", she asked, smiling softly and kissed his forehead.

Steve dropped down beside her, wrapping his left arm around her shoulders. "Well, there's a beautiful church in Anchorage."

Rachel frowned slightly. "he doesn't see you guys, does he?", she asked James. he shook his head. "hm.."
she turned to jim again and sighed. "of course i trust you, jim. i trust you with my life. but i also know that you tend to lose control and do things you regret afterwards. i just worried for you. what would i do if something happened to you?"
jennifer softly touched her shoulder. "may i later eh...lend your body to talk to him?", she asked quietly. rachel nodded. "sure Jen."

"i'm gonna wirk with water", Mac explained. "like, you know, little tubes with water inside every finger and so on...so i can move it using my ability. it will take some training, but i bet it's gonna work!"

Athena smiled softly and leaned her head against his shoulder. it was all coming back...great. last time she had left her family she had nearly died from an overdose...
"be right back in a second", she sighed, went out of the house, sat down on a trunk and smoked one of her last cigarettes. "note to myself- either stop smoking or get new ones..."

Jim nodded. "It's alright. I'm not angry at you or so. Just...next time, tell me you're worried and I'll just let you come with me.", he explained and smirked slightly. "Wait. So you heard everything I said?"

Hunter nodded, frowning slightly. "Okay...but...I mean...so yeah you'll have water tubes inside but you won't be able to move every single muscle then and it will just be water and...yeah?"

Steve sighed. >>Oh Athena...<< He stood up and followed the scent of the smoke. >>I didn't know she smoked?<< Standing behind a tree, he wasn't sure wether to leave her be or wether to go and talk to her.

Rachel nodded. "yeah, and they did, too. come, I'll help you see them. let me kill you for a ehile." she winked and made him sit down in the grass, leaning against the wall. Softly touching his forehead and chest with her thumbs, hey eyes turbed silver for a second and she dragged jim's ghost out of his body. "don't eorry, don't worry", she chuckled. "you're not really dead. you just left your body. turn around, there's someone who wants to meet you."
James and Jennifer were smiling softly, holding hands, ehile jack was sitting in the grass, grinning at his brother.

Mac smirked. "it's all a matter of how detailed and in which position i place the little tubes. i should theoretically be able to create a hand that's working just as good as a normal one, maybe even better." he sighed. "can you deal with a one-handed husband?"

Athena looked at the sky and sighed. "ah luna, now i could really use some advice...but as always- you're silent as the stars." she looked at the little round scars on her inner arms. "i'm afraid it might happen again...i didn't even tell him. it's so embarassing. i wish it had never happened. how could i be such an idiot? what if i have a fallback and hurt innocent people again? or steve? and what would he think of me if he knew it? i really have to stop..." she found herself shivering again. "great..." she pulled a syringe out of her bag, staring at the clear stuff inside it for a while. "oh Athena, you are such a piece of messed up crap..."

Jim frowned. Ok, he had seen a lot of weird things, but THIS?! He didn't even know Rachel was capable of this!
He turned around, as she commanded him to do, and saw his parents and little brother looking at him. He kneeled down on one knee, as he always did with Jack, and stretched his arms. "Wanna give your big brother a hug?", he asked the little boy, grinning slightly.

Hunter tilted her head. "You're weird. You keep talking about making a new hand - but still you ask if I can deal with a one-handed husband. Make up your mind, hun.", she said, winked and kissed him softly. "You can deal with me - so why wouldn't I be able to not handle you? Right, Captain Hook?"

Steve lunged for the syringe Athena was holding, frowning angrily. "Doooon't you dare, missy!", he shouted, and stood up, taking her hands. "Look into my eyes and listen. You are not a piece of messed up crap!", he said and sighed. "We all have made mistakes in the past. And you of all people should know that I won't think differently of you. So you can tell me anything." He kissed her for a long time, sitting down on the grass, pulling her down on his lap. "And if you ever need somebody to talk to, I am here. Don't lock me out."

Rachel sat down in the grass, smirking, and watched.
Jack lunged forward and hugged jim, giggling happily. "hey oldie! didn't expect us to come and visit you, eh?"
James sat down besde rachel, looking up at jim shyly. he really seemed to have no idea what to do, while his sons were hugging and his wife was standing there, waiting...

"but i'm not afraid of clocks!", Macon laughed, kissing hunter's cheek. "and of course i can deal with you, though it can be hard...to deal with your beauty. i always seem underdressed beside you." he winked and pulled her on his lap. "i love you darling."

Athena frowned. "would you please give me back my reminder?", she sighed. "look at the needle- it's clogged. it's a metaphor, steve. the stuff i used to...ahem, xou know ehat i mean...was black, okay? and that stuff is water. it's CLEAN." she took the syringe back and looked at it once more, before hesitatingly cuddling against steve's chest. "yeah, i left the pack when i was sixteen. lived on my own, taking and dealing... killed a few people who didn't pay quickly enough...or got on my nerves. until i nearly died from an overdose around ehh...eight months ago. i went back to rex. that was around a month before we met. i still wasn't...completely away from it back then. but since around two months i'm..." she held up the syringe. "...clean."

Jim smirked and ruffled Jack's hair. "Oldie? Well thanks, Jack! You just made me feel even older than I already do.", he said, winked and stood up again, the little boy hugging his knee. He looked at his mother and smiled softly. "Hey, mom. How are you?" >>What a stupid question! argh...<<

Hunter giggled, blushing. "Oh please!", she softly hit his shoulder and kissed his cheek. "You're always the best dressed man! And underdressed? I was walking around in my underwear until I got the call to come and visit you.", she said, chuckling, and kissed him, looking into his sparkling eyes with all the love she had. "I love you too, hun."

Steve softly ran his hand through Athena's soft hair, smiling akwardly. "Sorry, didn't know that. I just saw a syringe and was like 'NOOOO' so...excuse me for that." He softly poked her nosetip. "Well, I know two guys who have dealt with the exact same - and who are clean now >>At least, I think so?<<. You know who they are? Your brothers. Jim and Macon have gone through the same, so if you ever feel like talking about that - just ring them up." He softly pushed her head against his chest. "And I am always there if you need me."
