All the memories flooded back.
The pain.
He was dead.
Rachel had killed him!
Jim pointed at the floor and shot some bullets.

Hunter shrugged. How often did they have to kill that guy so he would die!?

Braxton ran as fast as they could, finally reaching the church.
"YOUNG SIR!"
he ran over to Jim, Jamie still on his back.

Rachel shivered.
"he can't be back..."
then Rex came running, eith Jamie on his back.
"no...", she whispered.
everything was fuzzy...everything was turning...
she blacked out.

Now ten year old Tancered panted out of breathe and whimpered as he stood by all these people. He had no idea what had happened

Jim's eyes widened at the sight of Jamie.
"Jamie!", he shouted and looked at Tancered.
"What happened!?"
Then he heard the sound of a body collapsing. He turned around and saw Rachel lying on the ground. "Rey!"
Like a nightmare. Nightmare...

Hunter ran towards Rachel and caught her head just in time, so she wouldn't have fallen to the hard floor. "Rey! Wake up!", she shouted, crying. Where was Macon? He would know what to do!

Tancered gulped trembling as he whimpered,"I don't know he just appeared like this!"

Rex lay Jamie down and turned to the other boy.
"what's your name, young one?"
he stared back to Jim.
"stop staring, help him!"

He sat down on a rock in the middle of the crowd, still in dog form, and barked three times.
"now everybody calm down!", he commanded calmly.
He turned to Jim.
"you stop shivering and carry him to macon. he's in his lab."
he turned to hunter.
"you bring Rachel inside and lay her down on the couch. feet higher than head."
he turned to the unknown boy.
"you calm down, sit down and tell me who you are and what happened."

Jim took Jamie in his arms and carried him inside.

"Mac!", he shouted, sprinting into the lab.
Jim's arms were already covered in blood. Well, actually the sleeves lf his leather jacket were covered in blood. And his shirt. But that wasn't important now. The only thing important was Jamie.
"Mac!", he shouted again.

Hunter nodded, softly and carefully dragged Rachel inside and lay her on the couch in the living room, putting thousands of pillows under her feet.
