Rachel sighed happily. "i know what you mean..." she closed her eyes and listened to his heartbeat.

she mumbled silently.

He smiled. "How I missed your voice...", he kissed her and closed his eyes, enjoying the moment.

Rachel smiled. "And i missed you." she looked up to him. "you inspired me for this poem..." she blushed a bit.

Jim opened his eyes.
"Wait, you wrote that?" He smiled. "I thought it was...I don't know, lyrics of a song?"

Rachel felt kinda awkward. but a good awkward. "yeah, i wrote it while i watched you staring at the sun, as if you hoped one of its rays would reach your heart and light it up."

He blushed. "That sounded as if it came from a famous quote.", he smiled and kissed her. "I really love you, and you have no idea how happy I am to...hold you in my arms again."

Rachel smiled happily. "I'll never leave you again. i love you. forever and ever."
she hid her face in his jacket and just enjoyed the wonderful moment.

He closed his eyes, his hand on her back. Slowly breathing, enjoying their closeness. Her warmth made him feel safe. She made him feel protected and wanted and loved. And he was thankful for that.
