Once making sure that Josef was being taken care of, he turned his full attention to Kristian.
"My Kristian is aliveeee..." The deer whimpered, shifting so that he could hug the man's head against his chest.
"And still wounded..." Azusa added sadly, surveying his injures over again.

"You can't just kiss a girl whenever you feel like it," Kurome huffed, grinding her teeth against the jawbreaker. My lips are sweet? Strange thing to say... She thought silently, an unwavering glare on Michael.

Minx smiled at the scene between Kristian and Azusa. She was really happy that he was ok. She didn't want Kris to see her though, so she slowly placed one paw behind her and slowly began to back away.

Nico breathed easy hearing Yersinia's small murmurs. At least he didn't have to deal with silence while thinking he killed the man. He watched him, stroking his cheek like he had done before, waiting for him to open his eyes again.

Lily sighed, running her hand through her hair as she continued on her way. It would be getting dark soon and she was not ready to sleep just yet. Not that she could. She was more wolf than dog so night was more her element. But then she'd have a harder time asking people if they'd seen her mutt of a brother. The deer stroked Kristian's bloody hair softly and whispered quietly to him.
"Kristian... I seriously thought you were dead... Kris seems to be immortal," Azusa ended the sentence with a soft laugh.
The man felt warm this time.

Her mood completely changed then.
"Hey- why can't you talk, Fang?" Kurome asked curiously, leaning forward toward him.

Michael blinked, his eyes being the only real sign of shock on his face as his pad was knocked away. He watched it fall to the ground before his eyes widened a little at her sudden change of mood. He blinked, took a step back before shaking his head at her question. It was none of her business really.

He glanced over seeing Pestis with Nico and frowned, scooting away and letting out a soft growl
He did not want his brother here, no matter if he saved him or not

He watched Kristian, a sudden look of mild disgust on his face as he noticed how he regarded Josef
"Kristian...! He's the reason you're not dead," The deer said defensively, leaning toward Kris to look him right in the eye.
Azusa then remembered- he'd lied to the man. He said that Yersinia was dead.

"Shaking your head isn't an answer," Kurome crossed her arms, letting her face soften a bit.
"We've already kissed twice. I guess I should introduce myself, huh? Kurome Dorame," She said in a monotone voice, holding out her hand.

His awful acidic gaze moved from his brother to Azusa as he narrowed his eyes at him

Azusa had said lies to him about his brother
And all this time he had thought he had nothing else to worry about
But he couldn't move
His back was shot up, unable to work properly
So all he did was to try and wiggle out of his grasp to be alone

"K-Kristinan... He brought you back from the dead... D-does it really matter if..." The deer trailed off, ending his sentence with a whimper.
"It's w-what he wanted...! For you to think he was dead, and since every time... Always... I didn't say anything!" Azusa spoke quickly, stopping to sniffle inbetween words. Shooting Kristian was bad enough. And he'd lied to him.
He worried that he wouldn't forgive him this time.

Of course he knew that Yersinia loved him no matter what happened
But it seemed a little.. Jerky, that he would hate him for helping
And hearing that Pestis WANTED him to think we was dead, took it to another level
Kris rolled onto his stomach and let out a horrible pained cry, as his back was inflamed and stiff
And paralyzed
He felt the numbness creeping down his legs, but not into his feet
He could still wiggle his toes
But he didn't know for how much longer
