Minx noticed that one of them, Kristian she believed, was looking in her direction. She tilted her head a bit, confused to if he was looking at her or past her. Her eyes then drifted to Drake only for them to widened at the sharp object being pointed her way. She hopped out of her sitting position and took a step back, ready to run whenever needed. Maybe they saw a snake. She'd probably shoot at it too so this reaction wasn't anything new right? That arrow wasn't aimed at her right? Right? A small whimper escaped from her as fear began to creep over her.

Nico's eyes opened. Something wasn't right. He had heard a thud but that wasn't what alerted him, no. It was the scent of blood that was overpowering his senses. He lifted his nose to the air and tried to pinpoint the smell. His nose guided him downward but when he looked, he couldn't see past the bundles of leaves. So he jumped down to the forest floor. He used his nose again and nearly jumped back into the try as his eyes spotted the boy on the ground. The smell was definitely coming from this person but what was wrong with them? Hesitantly, Nico stepped forward and took the risk of poking it.
