That was it. He was going to go back to base, take a long nap, and then sleep. Or maybe a nap and a long sleep. That didn't sound right.

Crimson laughed. "Duh. That mark says you belong to me. Well, I should change into something for the ball." She said, winking. "You better dress nice too." Giggling, she left, looking back at Sky. Ohh, what's wrong with me today?

I knocked lightly on the door of the base house. I hoped Eric was in there, wanting to ask him if he would take me. I waited patiently as Miles came, Lovesong quickly trotting over and nuzzling him. I smiled as they greeted each other in a very affectionate cuddle and sighed. I moved over gracefully and scratched her forehead, feeling her nicked appre iatively beneath me. No matter how long any of my horses were gone, they always remembered me and loved me. I was the one that saved them, brought them to the herd, to Miles.
