"In this timeline? Yeah. I don't usually... hang around in most cases, so I wanted to make sure I stayed out of the way, you know?" Sage asked, hopping over a low, crumbling wall. "It's not far, just on the other side of that arch."

"Ah, I was... more referring to this particular spot, actually, but I get how you feel." she said, running her hand along the ruin wall.

"I was talking about this spot too." Sage laughed. "It's my hide away in this timeline." They said as they vanished through the half fallen arch. On the other side was exactly what they had described. A mossy tile floor that dipped downward near the center, water pooling in the dip. Like everywhere else, there were vines and flowers everywhere, as well as birds and a few other small creatures. "It's been raining a lot, so the pool's practically full."

Michael raised an eyebrow at her almost riddled revelation. "Hm. And I suppose you know what he looks like?" He asked, his gaze flicking to the door temporarily.

"You don't say." She replied, referring to his accidental pun, but continued. "Some sort of... ten foot tall shadowy smoke beast with one eye... I guess, and the guy riding it." Melati shrugged. "It wouldn't actually get hit, rather... 'evaporate' and reform itself wherever I hit. The only place that actually seemed to do anything was its eye but not by much." She realized she had given a little more information than he had asked for. "I don't know where it went off to but I'm pretty sure the guy was controlling it. He spared me 'from his kindness' as well."

Nioacex wandered outside, his tail swishing to his side as he looked around the forest. There wasn't much to comment about the weather so he kept his snarky comments even away from his mind. He just had his eyes turned towards the sky, actually quite enjoying himself, when he heard a whimper nearby. What the hell could be whimpering around here? Reluctantly, he had half a mind to see what was going on and turned towards the building it came from. He had to wander for a few moments before he actually found the source.
Nio came to find a hole. How, he wasn't quite sure what it was, or where it came from. But he saw some sort of creature in the hole. He debated internally on whether or not to help it. After a while, it didn't matter to him, and he squat down beside the hole. "Hey kid, you lost?" He questioned, his tail resting at his side as he watched. He wasn't quite sure if it could speak but it was worth a try.

(I am so sorry, I will have to post later....I woke up on the stairs and was told I blacked out and hit my head)

"It's great, isn't it?" Sage asked, crouching down to stick a finger into the water to watch the ripples it made. "There are a lot of places like this around. Hiding if you just know where to look." They noted quietly. "Old, forgotten remnants of times that passed long ago."

Aesagi tilted her head slightly as she realized he was starting to speak again, her expression quizzical.

They hummed softly and they started swishing their finger around a bit, creating bigger ripples. "It's amazing what you can find if you look."
