Michael rolled his eyes internally. A bag? So helpful. "I was wondering what the cry was about. A warning? What do you think it could be, the rat girl?" He didn't know what to think of that, if it was true. He wouldn't make assumptions though.

Nioacex turned his head around to look at the girl, taking a brief scan of her, and quickly realized she intended no harm for the time being. Straightening himself with a grunt, he gave her an unamused look from his icy-blue eyes. "Oh, hi. Just hanging around and bleeding out until I die. Anything else you need to know?" Clearly deadpanning here. He didn't stop walking, and was still trying to find his way around the halls for somewhere to stay, temporarily at least. He didn't want to die today, so he would have to find a way to patch up his wounds. Nio wasn't sure the girl would help him, and he didn't expect it either.

(funfact: Nio's exact birthday is on a solar eclipse...)

"O-oh..." So much blood. How was he not unconscious? It seemed as though the wound had gone right through his chest. "I-I might be able to help you... But what did this?.." I thought this was a safehaven? Everything had seemed nice, up until around an hour ago, when the banshee first keened. Luckily, I was able to heal myself, otherwise i think I might've died. Timidly approaching the creature, I add, "I'm Zathura, but you can call me Ura..."

Nioacex still didn't stop, taking a quick glance around the halls before taking a turn and heading down the path, opposite of the shadowy monster that had attacked him before. He glanced at the doors along the way, looking for a room he could stop in that was vacant. "Some kind of smoke shadow monster. 'Bout ten feet tall or so. Incredibly fast." He answered, tightening the grip on his chest to hopefully stop blood flow more. The good thing is, it took a lot more than just a stab in the heart to kill his species. With a roll of his eyes, he added, "Nice to meet you, dearest." His tone was obviously sarcastic. "Nioacex, Nio, or Ace, whatever floats your boat."

"Thank-" before he could finish, Loki heard the song diminish in volume and the elbow propping him up collapsed. The dragon hybrid's heart was racing, though he was getting cooler. Curling up like a dog would, the man suddenly stuck his head up and whistled. Hawthorn should have been suffering from nearly the same effects that Loki had, and he might not have had a good tolerance for it. With his last ounce of strength, the half-breed sat up and called out a light, "Hawthorn..?"

With a huff, the girl braced herself and pressed a small cut in her upper arm. Resheathing the dagger, Vivan carefully took the crystal shards and murmured something to them. In no time at all, they were all glowing a faint red and one had embedded itself into her cut, creating a new "tattoo". Standing with a handful of the shards, she quietly made her way through the forest in a circular motion around the building, the glass flew off to hide themselves around the areas.

Melati was still trying to find the source of the screech, peeking around corners and searching the halls to find out what happened. She heard a large thud a while later and cautiously went around the area. Although she couldn't find the source of that, she instead saw a large, monstrous shadowy creature with another guy on its back charging through the halls. Unfortunately, she did not have her pistol with her, but in this state she may be able to defeat the duo anyway.
"What the hell is this?" She demanded, trying to grab the attention of the two, while in a more defensive stance, ready in case it charged after her.
