Claudia rested her head under his chin


Sunil leaned back in his seat wanting he'd to have this conversation

Adam smiled a little and closed his eyes starting to drift off a little

Her father frowned when she shook her head "Your mother is Nike… Sunil don't you have a parent or someone who watches you too?" He said and shrugged it off "Well your mother checks in now and then and tells me how you and your brother are doing… she just sees you places around town like the store or when you used to fight or when you went to Sunil's fights and all the small stuff she makes sure you don't die… she can't help if you get hurt but does her best to keep you and your brother alive…" Landry and her father talked a while catching up and he explained a lot about why he had to give her up and her mother and they exchanged a lot o small talk for a while before he looked out "It's late… you two may stay if you want but if you don't you should head out soon…" Landry glanced at Sunil "What do you think?"

Claudia easily fell asleep


Sunil shrugged "we can stay"

Adam slept but woke up a while later with a start and then calmed down and fell asleep this happened mutiple times

Landry nodded and kissed Sunil's cheek "Then I'm going to go change and head to bed…" she said turning to leave but her father stopped Sunil"May we talk a moment?"

Claudia slept peacefully


Sunil nodded sitting back down

Adam sighed when he couldn't fall back to sleep and watched Claudia sleep a little and was glad she could at least sleep well

Her father glanced at Sunil "Look Sunil I know you probably don't exactly like me, but even if I couldn't be there when they were younger I want my kids safe ok? Just please take good care of my daughter alright?"

Claudia shifted positions in her sleep


Sunil nodded "yes sir"

Adam adjusted so Claidia would be comfortable

He nodded "Thank you Sunil…" he said and turned heading to bed while Landry had already found the guest room and laid down waiting on Sunil

Claudia moved closer to him


Sunil made his way to the guest bedroom

Adam pulled her closer and sighed closing is eyes finally falling back to sleep

Landry looked up when he came in and took his hand pulling him down next to her and pulled his arm around her waist
