Antonio nodded, snapping out of his bloodlust haze. "Okay, I'll go near the kitchen and main lobby." The wolf, upon seeig the sun, took on a slightly more humanoid form and stood on his hind legs. He winced at the transformation, used to it by now. His yellow eyes glared back at the humans that remained awake, giving one final snarl before turning to get back on all fours and rush out of the room. He lept down the stairs four at a time, leaving a quick dash into a bigger room.

I glance back out the widow, seeing a few kids outside the door. I turn my attention back to the woman. "Well, I don't think you're a foster kid...so you must work here as well?.. What are you, that the full moon doesn't effect you?" I question, suddenly having a burst of confidence.

I shake my head, dropping the question. "Could you show me to my room?.."

Synthia awoke with a start and it took her some time to realize she was in her own bed. Sun filtered in through her window and she shielded her eyes with her hand. A soft moan escaped her lips as memories of the previous night returned to her. How many had died? She labeled herself a coward for not doing anything about it. The water nymph sat up and slowly brought herself out of bed. Synth heard the sound of cars outside and she went pale. No, not more kids... She rushed out of her room, long blue hair flowing behind her, and straight to the front door. She straightened her dress, feeling slightly ashamed to have slept in it. She felt that as a servant of the mansion it was her duty to welcome newcomers. She opened the door and came face-to-face with two boys and a girl. A fake smile spread across her face. "H-hello! Welcome to the mansion! We um, well, I suppose you three should come in..." her awkwardness was visible on her face as she gestured inside. Synthia was never good talking with the humans.

I look up at the blue-haired woman; I had crashed on the floor by the window for the night after my short-lived talk with the odd woman. "So there is a greeter..." I chuckle, standing up. "I guess arriving I the dead of night isn't a good idea, eh?"

Thomas frowned a bit at Ember stepping on his foot, but didn't have time to respond before the door opened. It had been locked just a few seconds before, when he tried the handle, but now a blue haired girl stood at the entrance.

His mouth gaped for a moment. Blue hair wasn't normal. Luckily, he regained his composure, and grinned at the girl. "Hey there, ah, Miss Blue. These two showed up at the door, and I tried to let them in, out of the goodness of my heart. But to my surprise, I forgot my key! So good of you to let us in, though." Thomas walked by her, hoping she wouldn't realize that she had never seen him before in her life.

The place was old and creepy looking. If Thomas hadn't known better, he would've immediately assumed that some Victorian Era vampire lived there. But, for fear of his life, he refused to let his smile falter. "I believe a tour of the place is in order, Miss Blue! For these, ah, children."

(Thanks, Transparent, haha. Thomas has no idea what he's doing, I'm just wondering how long he's gonna be able to bluff before someone decides they don't wanna play along.)

Thomas' heart skipped a beat. Dang, this girl was annoying. "Well, of course you saw me driving up, do you think I'm a shut-in? I had just returned after a late night... uh, 'shopping spree'. Nothing too bad, and certainly nothing you should ask about." He said, glowering at Ember.

Synthia felt a blush creep up her face at the sound of "Miss Blue". She felt embarrassed and scratched the back of her head. Had this boy been here all along? Did Howleen start giving out free keys all of the sudden? Her head turned in the direction of a face she actually had seen before. A name didn't come to mind. "Y-you could say that... Uh, I don't really think a tour is what I..." her soft voice drifted off and she closed her crystal green eyes for a moment before opening them. "I should show you three to your rooms. Um, you, what was your name? It appears I've forgotten." she asked Thomas. Maybe if she could just get a name then she'd remember. Synth wasn't the kind of girl who went around memorizing all the kids' faces and names.

I wave kindly from behind the blue haired woman. "Quite frankly, I've only been here since two nights ago, but I haven't ever seen you. Besides..." I drift off into thought, wanting to warn them but not wanting to scare them away. "A-anyways, my names Livi...Who're you three?" I question with a shy smile. I terribly wanted some friends.
