He gave a small smile and lifted his head, clutching onto Leo tightly while keeping his gaze down and aloof
So he still looked as if he were blind

I followed the hostess to our table and pulled out the chair for Venden.
"You don't have to look blind. As long as others are occupied, they won't notice."

"I'm sure they will... Don't worry about me." He smiled and took up the chair, sitting down and resting his head back, looking up at him with a smile

Maggie looked at him, backing up so she could. "Are you alright?.." She said softly

"Hello." I raised my eyebrows and pushed in his chair, going to sit in my own. "So... What would you like to drink?"

"I'd rather not." And the menu caught his eye, he picked it up and started to read
The thought of pretending to be blind went over his head

She smiled and examined his eyes through the green glass. "I'm always here for you" she said patting his shoulder gently

I winced a little, remember the 'incident'.
"Sorry..." I mumbled, looking down at my own menu. "By any chance could I use my, well fake, license to pull off as twenty one?" I asked in a whisper. "Water won't cut it, anymore." I mumbled, ruffling Venden's hair.
