Hope sighed a bit and softened her expression, wiping her tears away. "I'm sorry, you surprised me that's all..." She said softly, still a bit tense. "How long... were you behind me?" She asked, looking him in the eyes and finally taking in his appearance. Though some questions ran through her mind she refused to be rude and kept them to herself.

Hope shifted and held the strap of her bag uncomfortably. Sighing she closed her eyes slowly then looking back at him. "Ok, Well I'm sorry if you heard me... I tend to think out loud when I'm alone..." Or think I am. She said. "I also didn't mean to be rude or startle you." She looks away slightly and shifts her stance a bit. She has always had a tendency of apologizing to much and putting others before her.
