Ethan laughed in amusement at the feline's actions, before looking innocently at Sierra with a shrug, "Maybe she didn't want to be rude and eat without me?" He squatted down and reached out for Jinx, wiggling his finger gently on the kitten's cheek fur before standing back up. "Wait, which of us is taking care of Jinx over there? We're not exactly-" he pursed his lips, trailing off as he shut his trap. He mused that Sierra would take care of Jinx, as she was the one to pick up the frail thing in the first place. "Just to clarify."

"Why of course I will" Sierra chuchled and looked up at Ethan and then back down at Jinx. She didn't really catch on to what he was saying at the end and shrugged. Jinx was finished with the bowl of milk and collapsed on the floor purring. She was full and soon fell asleep. Sierra picked up Jinx and held her like a small baby.

"Cute," Ethan commented simply, before opening a cupboard and drawing out a thin packet the rustled with a powder. It was a packet of coffee, and he flashed a quick smile at Sierra. "Heh, I don't have any tea-bags.. sorry Si." Apologetically shrugging, he flicked on the kettle and grabbed his favorite mug. In a black, easily readable text it read "I LOVE EVERYONE", but if you were to turn it to take a sip, underneath was the silhouette of someone flipping the bird. Made him chuckle everytime.

"Its okay. Hey I just realized I don't have a nickname for you." Sierra said and then looked at the floor in thought 'I ddon't have a good one for him either. What do most people call a person who's name is Ethan?' her mind pondered and gave her a headache making her sit down. "Suggestion?" She asked Ethan and looked down at Jinx in her arms.

Ethan was feeling especially unhelpful and shrugged, grunting in response. He patted his pockets as he emptied the coffee-powder into his mug with one hand, tilting the torn plastic. "Uh, just search up nicknames for Ethan or something. You can call me whatever you want." The kettle let out a whirring noise, and he could hear the water bubbling inside vigorously. This scene gave him deja-vu of his Science class in Year.. 9, was it? They learnt how the element in a kettle worked. "What animal do you think suits me best?"

Sierra chewed on her lip thinking again "Well-" she started and cut herself off. "A fox." She murmmered and looked at his messy brown hair and tilted her head. Sierra looked away and then asked, "Are you feeling any better? "I can go get some medicine, if that works on you."

"You don't have to look after me and Jinx, I'll get the medicine. I've got a donkey's rear of an immune system," he chuckled amusingly. "Fox?" Ethan pondered in a mutter, thinking about it. He tried not to agree, but there wasn't much helping it. "You can call me, uh, Sly or something. Or just Fox." Ethan Fox, man.. that'd be a killer name. Upon picking up the kettle his thumb drifted over the metal of the kettle, away from the safety of the handle. With a jerk and a hiss he placed the kettle back down, sucking on his thumb. "Shish!" he murmured through his thumb.

"What about Slick?" Sierra asked then realized he hurt his thumb. "It does look like I have to take care of both you and Jinx." She told him with a smirk and placed sleeping Jinx on the blanket Sierra slept on last night. She walked over to Ethan and frowned, "Well I can't help you with a burnt finger." She told him.

Ethan scowled the kettle that had soothed it's distressed whistle to a gentle puff an gurgle, from the boiling water inside. He nodded at the word 'Slick', before giving Si an uncertain look. He wiped his thumb on his pants before holding it out to her, eyebrow cocked with a grin. "You could kiss it better..?" He suggested in a childish tone, pouting. Slowly, he swayed his thumb back and forth, taunting her.

Sierra rolled her eyes at Ethan and his mischievous self and teased him "No I won't little boy." She stared him in the eyes amusement dancing in them and finally gave in. "Okay okay fine" she kissed his thumb and then departed and looked up at him. She rolled her eyes and then let out a small laugh, "Your so childish."
