[Goes by Aequitas]

The white raven circled once around the old church before landing at its entrance. Soon it's feathers disappeared, replaced with the skin of pale human. The being's eyes glowed like liquid gold. His expression was devoid of any emotions. The male walked into the church after quickly looking around to see if anyone had noticed him. Luckily for him few other than his disciples ever wandered near the church. Some of his disciples were inside and he waved a silent greeting to each of them. "Sorry to have disturbed you," he nodded to Elaith, who had been distracted from his prayer when Aequitas had entered. Then he took a seat a little ways away from the others and closed his eyes.

The elf had been deep in prayer when he felt a familiar presence wash over him. Slowly he opened his amber eyes and stood, bowing respectfully as Karma neared him. "Aequitas," he said politely. "No need to apologize." As the god-like being walked away, Elaith sat back down to finish his prayer.

Sable was clad entirely in a deep forest green. The hood of a large cloak cast her face in shadows, hiding the unfortunate effects of her curse. Slowly she moved from different market stalls in the town square. She picked up several wares with her gloved hands, admiring them. It would be so easy just to take something.. She pondered. Then again she didn't feel like ending up in the palace dungeon anytime soon. Still, if she saw something interesting she might.

Several common folk turned their heads as a regal looking carriage came to a halt on the side of the road. A fair and ethereal looking woman dressed in white stepped from it with the help of one of her maids. Upon closer inspection someone would notice the blankness in her pale grey eyes. Aelaide was blind. With a gentle hand, the woman's maid led her to sit by a nearby fountain. Without speaking she trailed her slender fingers across the surface of cool water.

      viktor calfon || cursed || tags; n/a

grateful for the thick canopy that hung over his stall, viktor busied himself with organizing his wares. despite the heat of the day, the dark-haired male was clad in long-sleeved woolen robes, like those of a monk. his face was nearly obscured by the shadow of his hood, with only his lips, and the tip of his nose visible. and it was true - vik was feeling the heat. but he would feel the sun more if he removed his outerwear, and so kept his mouth shut on the smoldering issue.

Zosma was having a pretty good day so far. She'd gone out early this morning to pick berries in the woods near the church so she could bring them back to the others for breakfast. She liked being out by herself in nature with the trees and the animals and he own thoughts. The world felt so much brighter since she was brought into Karma's fold. She had found a new family and a new purpose. That was all she'd ever really wanted.
As she came back into the church, she noticed there was one more person among them. She recognized their leader instantly, and drew in a nervous breath.
"My Lord, to what do we owe this pleasure?" she asked, standing nervously be the entrance, basket still in hand.

Kit had a lot of work to do today. He'd been ill the past few days and hadn't been able to tend to the gardens to the degree he'd usually been able to. He'd had other servants help him out, but they just didn't understand the plants the way he did. It just wasn't the same. He was glad to finally be on his feet again. Unfortunately, the number of tasks he needed to complete made him wish he could still stay in his bed. One of his tools, a trowel, had finally broken. It had already been old and worn, and the handle's wood especially was full of holes and splinters. Somehow during Kit's illness, it had been broken, and now he needed to go into town to find a replacement as well as a wealth of other things needed in the palace by the other servants. Today he was everyone's errand boy.
He headed out with the list, some money from the royal treasury, and a basket into town. It didn't take him long to take care of some of the food items on the list. Now he just needed the more pricey items. He spotted a merchant in unusually long robes for this weather and noticed he was selling a wide variety of items. He walked up to him.
"You wouldn't happen to sell gardening tools, would you?" he asked.

viktor calfon || cursed || tags; kit

beckoning to those in the crowd, viktor used what charisma he possessed in an attempt to lure commonfolk to his booth. it didn't always work well - after all, he was dressed like a shady figure, but sometimes the man struck it rich. but he liked it best when people wandered towards him on their own accord, searching through his various supplies for whatever they could wish for. an instance like that was happening now, where a young man around vik's age or so had asked if he had any gardening tools. "aye, i do," replied vik, turning on the charm. he smiled at the fellow, though if one were to see his eyes, they would be able to tell immediately that the grin was a false one. despite the cursed fellow's best efforts, his dark brown jewels remained flat and lifeless, no matter how viktor willed it otherwise. "is there anything in particular you're looking for, sir?" he added on, before tilting his head to the left.

The white-haired male turned to look upon Zosma with a placid expression. "I came to check in, make sure things were running smoothly," he answered quietly. "I assume they are?" The male could feel the other girl' nervousness, which was to be expected. It was the way most felt around him. As he waited for a response, his golden orbs rested on the basket in Zosma's hand, before returning to meet her gaze.

"I need a garden trowel," Kit said, "and if you try to sell me anything cheap, I'll know."
Something seemed a bit off about this guy. It could just be the fact that he was wearing heavy robes in summer and the fact that he couldn't see his face. That would be entirely reasonable, but at the same time Kit kind of got the creeps talking to him. He couldn't really explain it. He wondered if he was selling black market items or something along with the ordinary things on the table. Of course, he had no real proof of that.

Zosma nodded.
"Yes, of course. We haven't had any trouble from the townspeople," she said.
She fidgeted with the basket in her hands. It didn't matter how often she saw their founder, she always found herself humbled in his presence. She always felt like he could see straight through her, which she supposed he could given that he was essentially a god of justice. He knew everyone's past and present, otherwise he couldn't do his job. No one could ever hope to lie to him.
"I, um, I just got back from picking some berries," she said, "Would you like some?"

Quintin revealed himself, previously hidden by a pillar. "Ahahah, I never took you for a suck-up!" His voice held no trace of accusation or hostility. "I'm only joking, of course. I hope everyone is well?" He continued casually, contrasting Zosma's modest bearing. It wasn't that Quintin had no respect for their leader or their duty, but rather - he wasn't sure how to act. It wasn't everyday anyone would have their presence graced by a nigh godly figure. He decided it was best if he just acted like he always did - it was the reason he was put here not too long ago, after all.

viktor calfon || cursed || tags; kit

seemingly taken back by kit's blunt nature, viktor let a chuckle escape his lips. this customer certainly had lip - he liked that. "no, no of course now," the black-clad man assured the gardener. "it's not my intention to cheap you out." holding up a finger, the universal signal for 'wait here', he moved away from kit and towards a large mountain of crates that made up the back of his staff. searching through each of the wood creates with precision, vik returned shortly afterwards with three trowels in hand. each were made of relatively sturdy material, and one one showed use - a bit of rust collected around it's handle. setting them down on the table that separated kit and himself, the brunette gestured to his wares. "i can go back and fetch more, if these don't satisfy your opinion," he said.

rena adailah / knight of Thaolin / tags; open

pull. aim. release. and the arrow went swooping through the air. with a loud thud it impelled the wood. it wasn't an accurate shot, but for a being that had only recently began training in archery it was far too good. rena lowered the wooden bow and looked over to the target, before she sighed. it wasn't that it was bad, but with her set of skill, with her genes and abilities, rena should have immediately known the art of bow at the first connection with it... you see, she was a half-valkyrie and, on top of it, had an ability to understand any and all weapons with the proficiency of a master. shouldn't that mean that she would instantly know how to use the thing? no, of course not! rena took another arrow from the leather quiver. she loaded the compound and raised the bow to the level of her eyes and aimed. and aimed, and aimed, and aimed. and then she released. soon enough, the sharp steel tip of the arrow pierced through the oak wood, that served as the target. the girl lowered her bow for a second and looked at the aim in disbelief. she still hadn't hit the centre. maybe it simply wasn't her day today? rena's gaze averted to the wood bow in her hands, then rushed over to now empty quiver, as she let go of another sigh. putting the bow down on the table besides her and throwing the quiver over her shoulder, the girl headed towards the target to collect the wasted arrows.

Kitsune-Likes to be called KitSy- Tags/Open
Kitsune woke up, and saw her pre-arranged clothes from last night, which she always put there, and dressed into a white blouse, blue trousers and beige boots, grabbed her purse and walked to the square. She went to a bakery and bought a fruit muffin to eat for breakfast. It was full of blueberries and apple, and it was really good. Afterwards, she walked around to the church and sat on the steps to simply ponder what to sew today, whilst eating the muffin
