--Dixie--
"Figure it out?" Dixie called, looking at the rope. She looked back down at Sam. "This better work."

[anxious ghost]

Sampson Bennett
"How long do you think the rope will hold you?" He called, an idea forming.

[vixen;]

--Dixie--
"Hour maybe two?" She called looking at the rope.

[anxious ghost]

Sampson Bennett
"That's good, this should only take a few minutes." He started dragging all the mattresses he could find from the rooms to the tavern. Then he started stacking them up on top of each other under Dixie.

[vixen;]

--Dixie--
"Sam. Sam. It's start to fray." She said, scared. She watched as part of the rope started to break.

[anxious ghost]

Sampson Bennett
He managed to get the beds piled up to about nine and a half feet. He pushed a chair over and stepped on it, somehow managing to climb up onto the beds.

[vixen;]

--Dixie--
"Sam. It's..." She said as the rope broke, she screamed falling. She landed on the mattress with a thud. She looked around dazed.

[anxious ghost]

He pulled her down off the beds. "Are you ok?"

[vixen;]

--Dixie--
"Yeah. I think so." She muttered, hugging him. She buried her face in his shirt, shaking.

[anxious ghost]

Sampson Bennett
He wrapped his arms around her. Sitting on the floor, he gently rocked her back and forth.
