"So it's not the kiss that upset you?" He asked, stepping right inside the room, still giving her space.

"Yes. No. I don't really know Sam. Okay."

"It's just... you didn't seem to mind before... so I just thought..." He couldn't find his words. He was embarrassed. He didn't want her upset with him.

--Dixie--
She sighed. "I just have some stuff on my mind. That's all."

"Can I help at all?" He asked.

--Dixie--
"Probably. I don't know. He left something in that building. I know it."

"I could help you find the building. I've been reading maps all my life." He offered.

"Here." She muttered handing him the book.

He looked at the map for a minute. "I know where that is." He said quietly.
